I tried the Medusa milk stout which was SUPER good, which is saying something considering I'm not a beer drinker. It was sweet, bold and everything I look for in a stout. They also make a really tasty hazy IPA. The bartenders and staff were super chill, and overall, this is a great brewery! Definitely worth a visit next time you're in the area. If you're looking for food, they have a food truck that they operate just in front of the entrance. I couldn't find the menu online so I took a picture while I was there and I'm posting it here for anyone who wants to see it.

Imagine biting into a taco and it's a bite of a whole zucchini with corn tortilla. Then it's an onion and corn tortilla, with maybe some guac and added salsa. Then it's a chunk of yellow squash. In tacos, veggies need to be diced smaller so the various veggies and ingredients fit in the mouth. Today, it wasn't cut properly. 3. Ordering a side of beans means refried beans and cheese. I thought I would use these beans to add to the tacos, which I still did, but it's not whole beans like it is when you order Coast Style (beans and cheese). The beans are good though. 4. The corn tortillas and salsas are the best part. Here's my biggest opinion - 5. Veggie tacos should already come with beans! Why are vegetarians paying the same price for a carne asada taco and we still have to request beans (and cheese) to be charged $1.50? Kinda crazy. 6. Don't bother with the veggie mulita. The veggies just fall out because they're so juicy so it's hard to eat and you end up eating it like a taco anyway (with no guac). Their Baja lager is a great beer though. I'd pick up a 6-pack of their Mexican lager for sure.

The food is absolutely fresh and amazing, with options for Vegan, Keto, and Pescatarian diets. This brewery has a few locations throughout Southern California and we're so happy they're in Oceanside. Service is always friendly and helpful (given how many beer options they have)! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Can get a little loud on nights and weekends. Kid- and dog-friendly! Parking is tricky, but they do have their own lot in the heart of Downtown Oceanside I think.

The location is great and of course, all the different areas to drink beer in here whether it be inside, the outside balcony or garden area. they're all very nice. We ordered a pizza and some beers which hit the spot. They don't give you any coasters for any of your drinks and there's no air-conditioning so when it's hot out, your beers are definitely sweating all over the counter and then when you pick them up they're dripping all over you. I asked for coasters and they don't have any so just bring your own. The staff is super friendly and our beertender's Aric and Nikki were so awesome. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

The fly basket was pretty good, but keep in mind that the portion size is small - 3 of each of the hush puppies, fried shrimp, and fried green tomatoes. My husband ordered one of the specials which was a short rib pot pie - one of our favorite dishes of the night. The short rib was so tender and the dish was rich but in the perfect way. I ordered the tri tip sando. It was loaded up with meat and grilled peppers and onions. I upgraded my fries to truffle fries and those were really flavorful! My mom ordered the cioppino. She was a little disappointed by how many mussels there were in the dish - she had been hoping for more fish and shrimp. She said the flavor was good though. For dessert, we did opt to try the beignets. Honestly I could have done without them. They weren't as light and fluffy as they could've been. Overall, it was a good experience with great accommodations for our toddlers and great service.

I was able to find beers that I have not been able to find anywhere else. Tried the sour that was on tap and bought the cascade kriek sour. There is a small corkage fee if you buy bottles and want to consume them there but it's worth it. They have a nice outdoor area that seems to be connected to the other businesses they are connected to. Will come back to try more beers.
