The food here rocks, walked in once and didnt think food would be good but came back and gave it a shot, so worth it. Its pretty heavy but so good! Beer was great too, lots of different IPAs and other lagers etc. The line to order beer is separate from the food orderint which is good when ordering food but the line gets pretty long and it's relatively slow, but only because the workers do a great job of explaining beers and getting what they think you'd like if you dont know!

WOW just WOW! if you eat at one place in Oceanside, CA, let it be here! My personal favorite was the birria tacos with a side of consumé! incredible flavor and lots of meat & toppings. Crowd favorites from the group as well were carne asada, al pastor, and chicken. guac was top notch, salsa too. brewery beer selection was expansive. I still dream about these tacos

We don't normally eat Mexican food out because we re really good at making tacos at home, but this place was AMAZING. I would definitely come back . The sauces were good and the tacos had soooo much flavor. It was nice that you could order from your table too to avoid the line. We will definitely be back! 10/10

    Dark lager beer. Very good!

Only tired one beer, the dark lager. Very good. I'm always looking for a stout tho. They had a coconut stout but they were out of it today. Looking forward to trying other beers soon. Love the outside seating and great views for ppl watching.

So good. One of best tacos I've had, and that's saying something. Vegetarian review: some sort of veggie taco. There were onions and peppers and guacamole on top. The tortilla was just thick enough, with just enough chew. So good. Not cheap, but good. Salsas were great. Parking; easy on a Friday around 5pm. There's a parking garage on one of the side streets. Free.

We enjoyed this spot that's a close walk to Oceanside Pier. This brewery has self service outdoor and indoor seating. Order inside and the food is brought to you. It was a beautiful afternoon and we enjoyed people watching from the covered outdoor patio. We tried their Coconut Stout, Birria Taco, and Carne Asada Taco. Everything was delicious and worth ordering. The Birria Taco with melted cheese was the favorite wirh a consomme sauce that put the flavors over the top. Handmade tortillas and quality ingredients are used and you can tell.

Great tacos on the main drag. Super casual with ordering at the counter and seating yourself.

A small taco place in an industrial park area. They have lots of outdoor seating and indoor a well. The have a wall of craft beer on tap behind the registers and the line can get long quick but they are able to get all the orders in fairly fast. We grabbed a table inside but the sun was glaring right at us and it was so bad we had to move. You get a buzzer and once your food is ready you go out to the truck outside where they are preparing all the food. They have a small salsa bar next to the grill. Prices aren't bad but they're not cheap. I just got one mulita as I wasn't too hungry and I was a bit disappointed. It was not really close to their photos of it online and it felt a bit underwhelming. My friend also got one but she enjoyed so maybe my experience was just off. Salsa was good though! Nice they have a lot of seating and of course have the games on the TVs. Not sure if I would come again since I had a lot closer places I frequent.

Good vibe and food. Beer was just OK. The place can get packed during prime dinner hours so be prepared. The food comes out really quick so it's good if you are in sort of a rush. You can also sit at a table and order food from your phone. Beer needs to purchased at the counter of course. Food was really good. The veggie tacos were filling and flavorful. Good for vegetarians and gluten free eaters since the tacos were corn based. The beer was mediocre to me. I had their West Coast IPA and it wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about. Overall I come back if I was hungry for tacos and beer with friends. They are a bit expensive if you just want to eat tacos. You can find just a good with the hefty price tag. I think the price you pay is for the overall ambiance and hanging out drinking a beer with friends.

Food is amazing and only comparable to the top Mexican taco places I have tried. I would take their tacos over tacos in Tijuana , MX and that's saying a lot. The vibe is nice and it's located super close to the beach for a nice lil walk after lunch. Don't sleep on the pickled onions they're a hidden gem. Ther Baja Agua beer pairs perfectly with any tacos. Here is the right way to go about craft coast- grab 1 birria taco, 2 al pastor and a beer. You first eat the birria- it's fire just trust. You eat birria first, so it's crunchy and not soggy. Then you eat al pastor, a piece of pineapple makes it a bomb combo. You can get different salsa on the side depending on your spice tolerance or desire. Service is quick, the only dig I would give this place is that the tables aren't too clean, because there is a constant flow of people, but nothing stops tot from taking a napkin and wiping it down.

Walked down here from our hotel and couldn't have been happier! The restaurant has a really cool social vibe with standing tables, great outdoor seating, and although it was packed it didn't feel claustrophobic. The service was quick and efficient, no slowing down with that high demand. The quality of the food was amazing! The tortillas were fresh and tasty while all of the meat were great cuts, very tender. I feel like you can't have a good taco without a little grease and this place does it right. As someone that has access to tacos in LA, I feel like San Diego takes the cake and these are the best I have had so far. Adding it to the list of places I will be coming back to when I'm in Oceanside.

Carne asada nachos and birria bowl

I was so excited to try this place out that I drove all the way from Point Loma to try it! I ordered the carne asada nachos and the birria bowl. The carne asada is definitely worth the hype and the extra 50 cent charge. It is tender, well seasoned, and delicious. It pairs perfectly with all the nacho toppings and I would 100% come back just for these. As for the birria bowl, I have to admit that it wasn't the most authentic birria I have ever had. It didn't have much flavor to it, but it did pair nicely with all the ingredients in the bowl. Next time, I would just stick with the carne asada though. My food came out quickly and the portions were huge, especially considering the prices. I will definitely be back when I am in the area!

Tacos + chips n guac. This is false advertising cuz they DO NOT sell n/a beer

Finally visited Cocina Del Mar after always seeing it popup on Yelp or Google Maps. Our defacto…read morego-to standard for Mexican food has always been Mariscos Huatulco. They have the best molcajete and fajitas around, at the best prices. We are here just to see if Cocina Del Mar is better. Long story short: it's not. However, their ceviche is AMAZING. Best ceviche I have had in north county San Diego outside of Dija Mara (which has the best ceviche in the known universe). It is extremely fresh and not overpowered by acidity, fishy smells or rubbery shrimp. The ceviche here is legit. Great. AND ONLY $10 (for cameron). If you order anything here, get the ceviche first. I'm anxious to try their aguachile now. We also ordered the fajitas ("suprema" with chicken, steak and shrimp). Fajitas did not come out sizzling at all. I have never seen this before. Also, there were only two shrimp. The steak/carne was bland and dry. Not great. Wife ordered the Sopes (3) and mother ordered the Enchiladas Cameron. The sopes were okay, but a bit bland. Wife had to salt everything on the plate. The enchiladas had a sauce my mom said was too sweet. She wasn't a fan. For all three dishes to be a miss is completely strange considering the sheer number of 5-star reviews. I want to believe. We must have come on an off-day, but the place was busy. Quite a few larger parties were here, so this place is popular with the natives. We also grabbed a Model and a Corona. Only $5 for the beers! Total for everything came to $117.64 (with tip). I would absolutely come back for the ceviche and to give them another shot by trying a different dish. I snapped pics of the menu so you can see the latest prices. Check it out.
