The food is absolutely fresh and amazing, with options for Vegan, Keto, and Pescatarian diets. This brewery has a few locations throughout Southern California and we're so happy they're in Oceanside. Service is always friendly and helpful (given how many beer options they have)! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Can get a little loud on nights and weekends. Kid- and dog-friendly! Parking is tricky, but they do have their own lot in the heart of Downtown Oceanside I think. read more

Bring your own Coaster! This was my first time visiting Green Cheek in Oceanside (I live near the Costa Mesa location). The location is great and of course, all the different areas to drink beer in here whether it be inside, the outside balcony or garden area. they're all very nice. We ordered a pizza and some beers which hit the spot. They don't give you any coasters for any of your drinks and there's no air-conditioning so when it's hot out, your beers are definitely sweating all over the counter and then when you pick them up they're dripping all over you. I asked for coasters and they don't have any so just bring your own. The staff is super friendly and our beertender's Aric and Nikki were so awesome. My sister likes to go to this spot so we met there this past weekend. It was earlier in the afternoon and it was JAM PACKED! Luckily she had an area reserved. I think I overheard an employee say the wait for food was 30 minutes. There were a lot of families which is fine but I kinda felt like I was a my Chucky Cheese a little bit. And it was very loud there too! I got a michelada and was suprised it was very affordable like $6 for a normal sized glass. No chamoy but still good. I like to stop in here for a beer every now and then. I like the selection they have, the food here can be good at times but the last time I stopped in the food was just okay. The service could be better. The last stop in, we had their special, a bbq chicken pizza. It was very dry, the sauce seemed to be dried up bbq sauce. It didn't taste very good and it was cold. Green Cheek has easily become one of my favorite spots in Oceanside! Their canned beer selection is fantastic. The Paloma somehow captures the vibe of an Aperol Spritz, and the Lavender Hard Lemonade is an absolute summer favorite--especially on a hot day. The food is just as impressive. The buffalo chicken sandwich is hands down the best around, and you can't go wrong with their burgers or pizzas either. Everything I've had has been consistently delicious. They're also incredibly dog-friendly, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, so I always know I'm going to be comfortable, happy, and well-fed. Parking is surprisingly easy too--even on busy PCH, I've always managed to find a spot either on the street or in their small lot. Their beer menu is expansive and the several that I tried were all tasty. Best taste and selection of the 5 local breweries we visited over the week in town. The food was spot on also. The bartender provided good recommendations on beer by letting me know what was freshly tapped and about recent collabs with other breweries. I just had a gender reveal party at Green Cheek Beer Co. Everything went so great. They have a special event place with separate bar and restroom only for our guests. We rented place for 3 hours unlimited food and drinks was included. They allowed us to arrive 1h early to decorate our place. I'm very happy with service, food and drinks. I had a great time at their sip & see event. They were promoting their venue upstairs for private events. It was cute! Everyone working there was so nice. The people who vended there were super sweet! They had a nice spread of food! The poke, vegan meatballs, macaroni salad, and beef skewers were my favorite. I had a sample of the lavy lemonade seltzer. It was pretty good and had a nice lavender color. I tasted the LIKE SUPER PROFOUND. It had a nice light taste. I ended up getting an old fashion because I could not make a decision, lol. Kimi Wakamoto did a great job making engravings for everyone. I got a luggage tag! It looked so nice! SALLYMFINEART did a great job with her handmade portraits! My portrait looked cute and she even added Gir in the portrait! For starters, there's plenty of room here. Want sun? Shade? There's something for everyone. It's dog friendly and there's a parking lot. Yes, a dedicated parking lot for their business. This is one of our Oceanside go-to spots. We like how it has indoor and outdoor seating, including an additional rooftop area. We love how pup friendly it is as well, and that they have their own parking lot. All that goes a long way to having a stress free casual dining experience. It is seat yourself, and semi-self service meaning you order your food and drinks from the bar. If you order food, they will give you a little buzzer and you come up and retrieve whatever you ordered. There are no servers or food runners. Some of our favorites are the pizza, the smashburger, the Cobb salad and the wings. You also can't go wrong with the tots, regular or cheeky. On top of having beer, because it is a brewery, they also have seltzer, wine and a full bar. VIBE: This location was fantastic when it first opened. It was lively and packed with people. All three downstairs bars were open, and it was a cool place to hang out. I recently went there to find out that the back bar is closed indefinitely; bummer. The vibe felt different, too, but not in a bad way - just more laid-back than before. We may have gone at a bad time. (2 PM)? FOOD: Food is whatever, typical bar food, nothing to brag about. Honestly, I don't go there for the food, just the beer. They have other locations, and it seems they currently do not brew the beers there even though all the tanks/equipment still can be seen through the windows. This is a huge place with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There's 2 separate restrooms on opposite sides of the outdoor area. You can order from the inside or the outside bar. I highly recommend the chicken wings. It's $18. It comes with 12 large pieces, ranch and blue cheese dressing on the side, some carrots and celery. I tried the buffalo wings and was thoroughly satisfied. The extra plates, utensils, napkins and to go boxes are self serve. The service here is top notch. Folks there are friendly and hard working. I didn't even know the plates were self serve until one of the staff members brought it over to me and said I can grab more myself! It felt like a very welcoming environment, where the staff genuinely cared about the customers' experience. Overall, I'd love to come back for the chicken wings and the ambiance. read more

We are huge fans of the Costa Mesa location so we absolutely had to check out this one. The Oceanside location is huge in comparison. Two stores, 3 bars, and an area of private events, this is a Green Cheek lover's paradise lol. Plenty of merch for sale as well. They also offer flatbread and other food items that aren't offered at the CM location. We really enjoyed the fish tacos and ahi poke chips. Also went home with a few 4 packs and a shirt. Came here to try some beers on a Friday. Parking can be tricky but they do have a small lot as well as street parking but when it's busy you may have to walk a bit. Got to check out this place with one of my colleagues. I have been here when it was Bagbys. I like that they have a private parking lot in the back for customers. They have a descent selection of beer and a few non-alcoholic items. My daughter enjoyed martinellis apple juice. We also enjoyed some French fries. I noticed they had 2 vegan items on the menu, one being a burger. I didn't get to try it this time around as we had just eaten but maybe next time. I liked that Bagby's had a lot more vegan items including some for kids. Oh well! You order and pay at the register and sit down until your buzzer goes off to pick up your food. Not much has changed in terms of seating. And it still seems to be popular for people with large groups. I would come back to have a drink and try the vegan items.
