Been a patient seen Feb 2024. You will a different physician or Nurse practitioner each time. There is one who I seen twice ( the latest this Saturday ) who does not listen and check her personal cellphone messages during both visits. She is there to collect a paycheck and nothing else. I have been blessed to have a wonderful healthcare team outside of Belite....and would not choose her to treat me for a broken fingernail. She is condescending ....and speaks as if she didn't hear or understood what I said. She doesn't care to talk about options and rushes you out while you are mid sentence. This was enough for me to question going back ever again. A waste of $160 dollars.... Edit: In their site, it says 135.00 for a follow up visit. I was charged 160.00 for less than 15 mins visit on Saturday 9/7 with a nurse practitioner who only took my blood pressure and flipped through notes. Nothing of value. The other two Nurse practitioner I have seen are very attentive and LISTEN. They have shown they care and in vested in my weight loss journey and talk about options. I wish I pick which Nurse Practitioner I could book an appointment with....Belite does not offer that. read more

I am excited to write this review for BeLite Medical Center! The practitioner was very patient and knowledgeable and she advised me to start at a slower pace, since I hadn't visited the facility in over 2 years. The practitioner performed an EKG on me and discussed my blood pressure with me, my weight, etc. I truly enjoy the "one-on-one" opportunity to speak freely with the practitioner so I that I can share "truthfully" why I am not seeing any weight loss, even through periods of "ebbs and flows". The office staff is also fabulous! They are very attentive and do a great job of keeping everything moving smoothly, without you feeling that you are being "rushed". I have been going to Be-Lite Medical Center on and off for a few years. It is truly a diet plan medical center with top nurses, an exceptional doctor, and friendly approachable staff. At each visit, patients have to complete a form to document what occurred after the previous appointment. Then, patients are seen by the physician or nurse. Periodically, they administer EKG's and and request that you obtain thyroid tests, as well. I wish I had known about Belite years ago because along with a healthy diet and consistent exercise, the program works extremely well. By exercising regularly, eating healthy, and drinking water, I went from a size 20 to a very healthy size 8-10 in 6 months. From the guidance I receive regarding nutrition, I have learned to eat healthy for the 1st time in my life! This program works well for me. Over several years, I have been on Prednisone and received cortisone injections for my back. It is extremely hard to lose weight from Prednisone and Cortisone Injections. I am back with Belite again after gaining a ton of weight from prednisone and cortisone injections, and after ending treatment for my back. With Belite, I have already received positive results so far and I anticipate more weight loss in the future. If this program works for me, it will work for you!! read more

HERE'S AN HONEST REVIEW THAT DOES NOT BENEFIT FROM THE DISCOUNT THEY PROVIDE YOU FOR POSTING THIS (I don't want the discount I just want to help others). Positives: The staff is beyond courteous and they do their best to accommodate you. The medication that is provided will definitely assist with losing the weight as long as you restrict your calories. The nutritionist provided information that definitely helped jump start my weight loss and it was very positive. Negatives: Phentermine is a very nasty drug that you really have to be careful with. As a patient, you have to remember to DRINK A LOT OF WATER (over a gallon), eat (because you will forget or not feel like it), and you will become restless. I started to slip into a depression with the higher dosage. The carpidoba gave me really bad acid reflux and I still have issues with GERD. However, the doctor did listen to me and didn't increase the dosage. If you really don't want to increase the dosage...you truly have a right to say NO...it's your body. The key is to workout and restrict your calories with the assistance of the medication. I especially will put an emphasis on working out and water so that it will help with sleeping and losing weight. read more

This is a med dispensing clinic. The doc owns the "pharmacy" and dispenses Phentermine. The emphasis is on your blood pressure . I received very little counseling regarding diet. It's all about the drug. An older gentleman brings out the drugs from a back room when you are checking out. $175 p/m. I had side effects to the medication, that I believe were not adequately addressed. The decision made by the practitioner was to increase the dose. I will not be returning. Edit to note NIH research: Research " Phentermine and heart valve damage, NIH" . Previous heart valve damage was due to Phen/phen the combo, however when I researched this drug during my experience with this "doctor", I found one published finding of a young woman in her 30'r or early 40's who was taking ONLY PHENTERMINE WHO HAD HEART VALVE DAMAGE/FAILURE SIMILAR TO THE 90'S COMBO.... DON'T TAKE A CHANCE WITH THIS...especially not here...they don't care and disregard symptoms like excessive perspiration. So I want to leave a review as I just had an appointment with Kimberly, and she was absolutely fabulous! I have been going here for a while after gaining a lot of weight after my first pregnancy and while everyone is great to work with, Kimberly was my favorite as she asked questions, tried to determine why I was plateauing and was super understanding and tried to modify things in a healthy way to help me get over the plateau. She also said that if the changes didn't work she wanted to think of other options to make sure I get past this. I actually enjoyed speaking with her (I usually try to rush through the appointment). This place was great when I first started going...dropped about 40 lbs BUT once your body gets used to the Phentermine after you've been on it a while, you WILL gain it all back. My body no longer responds to the Phentermine, despite daily exercise and drinking tons of water. My primary care dr told me to stop the Phentermine because it isn't good for your body. Sure, it's a quick way to lose weight, but do your research before you start it. I had quite a few side effects from it. I will say, the staff is very friendly and scheduling appointments was never an issue. read more

This place is wonderful. I've only been there a little under a month, but I've already lost 7 pounds. Things seemed pretty hopeless after I gained 55 pounds during my pregnancy, but I feel like I have finally found some help. Couldn't even get in the door. Attempted to email to get more information and to see if any of my current medications would interact with their pills. Only got short, perfunctory responses. I would describe them as curt at best. Basically, the answer was their meds would interfere with my current meds. However, when I asked which meds in an attempt to see what I would have to change in order to be a good candidate for their program--I received a three word response with literally just the names of the meds and nothing more. They also don't even sign their names to the email so it doesn't feel personal at all. They obviously don't care about gaining new customers, and I personally would be very wary about giving my business to a place with such lacking customer service. read more

I should have starting coming here earlier, wish I'd know about it! It's been one week since I started their program and already down 4 lbs. admittedly, I could have stayed more on their schedule, so now I'm excited to see how much I lose next week! No side affects. I have not had any carb/sugar cravings and I'm not ravenous like I was before. It's easy to schedule an appointment including by email which I prefer. The staff is flexible and friendly. I appreciate the option to use Phentermine or Phendimetrazine or a combo of both. Phendimetrazine has less of the side effects which is why I prefer it. I have struggled with my weight my entire life (massive ups and downs). My physician suggested Phentermine regularly as a way for me to not only lose weight but maintain my weight long term considering my history. I have been taking it for a few years through Belite. Just as an FYI and to address a common complaint among some of the reviews, your body will adapt to Phentermine after 6 months or so of taking it but not completely. It will not have the same effect as it initially did, however, if you take a break from it for 2-3 weeks and start again it will have the same effect as it did at first. Overall, these medications greatly assist with hunger but you have to put in the work (ie. diet and exercise). I've gone to various doctors and clinics throughout the years and prefer the efficiency, quickness, and friendliness of Belite. read more
