BIG MISTAKE! What should have been a 20 minute while-you-wait job ended up taking over a week! The brackets were left in an acid tank way too long, and eaten up, then he had trouble finding replacements. I ended up with a butchered job, that I would have been deeply ashamed to have done, much less charged money for. Next time, I will take any radiator work to Bluff Street; I know they do good work. Great if you can afford that, but I'm not a hobbyist. Charlotte is kind and helpful, Caesar was helpful, Tom is a delight if you can get him, but the mechanic that I was always stuck with was rude and condescending. Constantly interrupted me, which seems a strange choice when I have diagnostic information you need. So much so once on the phone that I had to make a complaint and speak with a different mechanic who could compose himself as a decent human being. They once repeatedly insisted that I needed a new compressor BEFORE even looking at my car and even AFTER I told them that I had just had it replaced 2 months ago. Then insulted my normal mechanic who had done the job, insinuating that he didn't know how to install a compressor. Without knowing him, and again, without having looked at the engine. Awkward much? Shockingly, it wasn't the compressor. It was an air leak as I had said in the first place and that they had failed to find in the end. Took it to a non saab mechanic. I used to take it here for diagnosis when something was really tricky but I'll be glad never to go back here again. Good news is, they were so difficult that I learned how to do a few things myself to avoid being held hostage to ignorance. Just replaced my vacuum lines, ignition coils and spark plugs myself. Good luck with that business model.

It really runs good now!! But the issue that stands in the forefront is their tenacity on an issue that most shops would have probably just thrown their arms in the air and gave up. The clock spring for my vehicle went bad, this controls all the electrics on your steering wheel from the horn, cruise, airbag, etc. This should have been a straight forward repair but the part was not available anywhere!!! They searched and searched and the part was not available they even tried the junk yards as well. We finally changed out the steering wheel and got everything I wanted working!! Thanks for not giving up as that would have been the easy thing to do. This small shop will have my business in the future.
