Words to the wise... check your carpeting, your air filter, and make sure you ALWAYS use the online portal for maintenance requests. Don't be an old schooler like me and tell them about problems as they will conveniently forget about them and blame you for damages. They'll send you a copy and pasted screen shot of the online portal and say "See! No maintenance requests! Your fault." That kind of dishonesty really hurt because the additional charge for carpet replacement was expensive and absurd. Just a very disappointing and sad end to a great 16 months as it really is a nice place to live, despite the ever increasing raises in rent (which is to be expected) and the always mentioned parking issue. I have since relocated to a more affordable apartment which is closer to my work, has ample parking, and a maintenance team that responds to not only the online portal, but also word of mouth! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Ever since Diana left, Ben Burke has been running this place into the ground. 1. Never any spaces to park if you work late. If I pay rent, I should get first dibs over guests. Tell guests to park on the street. 2. Basically all equipment in the fitness center in BROKEN. TVs don't work. Spin bikes are just sitting there and cannot be used. Equipment sqeaks. FIX THE STUFF. 3. You used to be able to access the clubhouse at all hours. Now you can't use the gym at all hours. 4. Printer never works. read more

Diana, Ben, Sydney, Can you actually start enforcing the towing in the parking lot so residents have spots, can you spray for ants, spiders, and bugs in highly trafficked areas to avoid infestations, can you pay attention to regual maitenance of the fitness center regarding Peleton bikes (about $1000 each wasted) not working at all and just sitting there, TVs not changing channels or not working at all? All of these comments are based on my personal experience I cannot speak for others. First our dryer needed to be replaced because it wasn't drying clothes after being ran multiple times. Next our washer. Our water heater after that (out for 4 days) Never requested any accommodations or discount. We were offered to walk to an abandoned apartment and shower there with no shower curtain... Our A/C has now been out for 14 days... the first 4 days they were notified by our friend when we were out of town... nothing was done so our 2 cats sat in an apartment for 4 days until we got home. 2 window units have been put in to bring the temperature to a resting 75 degrees. After requesting some sort of pro-rated rent for the month considering our A/C was out for 14 days and no accommodations are being made by the manager with comments suggesting that's just life and how it goes. Which it does! Again just sharing my experience here. Oh also! Adult women, good luck swimming at the pool unless you are wearing shorts covering your whole bottom or you'll be threatened and harassed at the pool as well! read more

I use to live in Regatta Bay for about 2 yrs, and I loved it. My condo faced the pool. The neighbors were really nice and we would often get together for Happy Hour. The location was within walking distance to my job and very close to my kids school. This was one of my favorite places to live. The condo layout was neat with the living room and kitchen separating the two master size bedrooms with full baths. The neighborhood is quiet and pet friendly. I would recommend these apartment/ condos. read more

Don't waste your money living here --it's not worth the high rental prices and overall stress! I lived here for a year in a one bedroom apartment. Management was not helpful when I had a recurring issue with tenant above me being loud, having intercourse late into the night, and smoking so much pot that my entire apartment smelled. The dumpsters were always overflowing --piles and piles of trash like I've never seen before. They have a horrible guest parking policy to the point that my mom was visiting from out of state and her car got towed for $400. When I moved out, I left the apartment spotless. My parents even helped move me out and helped clean the place. I barely even lived in the apartment over the course of the year, as I was always traveling and I worked long hours, so the place was truly without any wear and tear. I barely used the kitchen or living room. I asked management to meet me for an in-person move out inspection because I did not trust them. I was told that they would not come with me for a move out inspection, as I needed to have scheduled it way in advance (seemed like a silly, and arbitrary rule especially considering the leasing agents were sitting behind their desks without other appointments). I asked if I could schedule a move out inspection at their convenience before the next tenant arrived. They still declined. I was later hit with unwarranted fees upon move out. Major scam. They stole my entire deposit --I'm a hardworking school teacher. The apartment was barely lived in over the course of the year, so their citations as to why they needed to take my deposit made no sense. I lived alone, no pets, never had guests over except my parents from out of state a few times. It was ridiculous. I considered taking them to court, but just wanted to be done with the place. Stone Pointe, the complex across the street is much better and nicer on all fronts. read more

I've lived at regatta bay for about 18 months in May and we absolutely love it! It's a family friendly place where I feel 100% safe with my 1 year old. Tasha has always gone above and beyond to take care of us. Their amenities are top notch and although they are pricey, the location, updated units and hospitality are well worth it. read more

I've lived in Regatta Bay for some time. The staff there (Tasha and Deseree) really do a fabulous job in taking care of you. They've gone the extra mile in making sure that I'm happy with the living conditions. I also like that it's set in a fairly secluded, picturesque area that's away from the noise of the city. Parking is awful. Residents cannot have visitors or their cars will be towed. There is a tow truck that sits outside the parking lot on Friday and Saturday nights mind you, not all the spots are taken, although the complex will tell you they are. They have said in the past that they have tried a section just for visitors and it did not work... not sure why? Why can't a certain amount of spots be designated and passes be given on a first come first serve basis? The only way you can have a visitor is if the resident rents a garage And the visitor can then park in the garage. Not everyone has the ability to rent an apartment plus a garage but it's a good way to force people If they want to have friends or family stay. People should be made aware before they sign a lease and that the lease allows the company to change their parking policies at any time. You would be surprised how much this impacts your day-to-day. read more

Absolutely loved living here. Really didn't have maintenance problems that couldn't be fixed immediately, all-around courteous staff and beautiful grounds. Unlike some complexes, trash and recycling is never unsightly and is enough for the whole neighborhood. Loved that it was close enough to walk (on a sidewalk too) to a nearby plaza with plenty of amenities. Grocery shopping and dinner out were only a short walk away, not to mention if you're a mall kind of person then you're not more than a block and a half away. Everyone I'd met at the complex was extremely nice. The only weird thing was when they started offering reserved surface parking spaces. People got really touchy about those and I remember seeing tow trucks coming around as soon as this was available. This is by no means an on-street city neighborhood or anything, there's plenty of spots. A lot of other folks complained about not having enough but that's only if you come home at like 3am from the bars... read more

Let's get into it! First, they raised rents by $200 however can't track a package, I had perishable items sitting in a concrete room for days! Also, the "recycling" program is a joke, the dumpsters are rat invested and overflowing. If you get a loft, prepare for that room to be the hottest room with no ability to have AC up there. Also, this community is full of barking, crying dogs left alone all day and sometimes nights by neglectful owners. Cheap builder grade paint jobs you will wipe a wall and the paint will come off. Also, I hope you have strength enough to pull up double panel blinds that cover your windows. Some windows don't even open or close properly. And then to the parking, or lack of it! There are not enough spots for the amount of cars here so if you get home after 9 pm from work, you likely will need to park quite far from your building. And don't expect any to be able to read most of the building numbers now overshadowed by trees! It's the most dysfunctional expensive venture you're going to endure. A little pricey but their staff makes the difference. The neighbors are great and it is a great place for the military.

I have lived in many apartments over the years and this is by far the loudest. I was surprised there were not more posts about the noise. If you live on the side by the leasing office be prepared to hear beeping and noise from delivery trucks at the Sam's Club next door. The office states this is only allowed during 6 am -11 pm but I often woke to the sound before 6 am. While I don't hear my neighbors directly beside me I do hear everything from the neighbors directly above me. And they do not enforce any type of pet size restriction. I have a 90 pound dog living directly above me which I don't feel should be allowed on the top floor of any apartment, especially one with poor sound proofing. I also do not feel it is a good location if you like to run outdoors. Housley is a busy street without a full sidewalk for safety. They have a small gym but the equipment is poorly maintained and often not working properly. I do not feel that the management was helpful at all with my complaints and provided me with false information when I went to inquire in person how much it would cost to break my lease. The apartments look very nice but I would not recommend this complex to anyone moving to the Annapolis area. read more
