There are no visitor parking spots or visible signs telling no parking allowed. I learned this the hard way and had to pay $384.78 to a tow company. I simply visited my family member for dinner and pulled into a very open parking lot/spot. Attempted to leave 5 hours later and my car was gone. Please be aware of this and do not let your guests park anywhere on their property. Management evidently has given a tow company permission to tow any car on property without a permit. read more

Absolutely love the staff year. Super informative and great with communication. Not only that they have great patience and dealing with any aspect that I needed. Kimberly Becky or Vanessa are great members of the team the maintenance staff is pretty quick to get to whatever your needs are the apartment itself is super spacious and has a beautiful outdoors area, yardwork is always maintained during the seasons. I actually live in the condos at the top of the hill, on Cove Road. Same type of buildings, but the units are owned (a handful are sublet). The buildings on Cove Road are quiet, none of the neighbors have complained about any of the issues found in the apartments down the hill. My mortgage is about $1000 less than what the apartments are getting in rent for the same floorplan. read more

The apartments are fine, and the location is great. The price is reasonable as well considering other comparable apartments in Annapolis run a bit higher. Kurt in the leasing office is the real MVP. I don't live in the area but I am looking to move within the near future. When I started the apartment search in Annapolis I was contacted by random companies to look at Spa Cove, based on what the third party companies were sending I took it off of my list due to the price. After answering a call from Kimberly my entire perspective changed. She was an ideal professional. Kimberly told me options within my price range, took the time to answer all of my questions, including ones just about Annapolis! She was so wonderful I just can't say enough about her. I have been a tenant here for 4 years. My daughters father was the primary lease holder and was removed for domestic violence, the management pretended they'd let us stay I warned them about my credit they said they'd work around it bc I've been there for so long with a long rental history where I paid, and his child support covered the other 1/2 so they swore we'd work it out. Rental assistance offered them $8k to work with me. And they kicked my 5yo and myself out instead. I'm able to afford it but they don't care, they lied completely in their initial "willingness to work with me" and do not care in the least that I'm a long-term tenant and they're kicking me and my daughter to the streets. The main issue is they filed a court order to evict my ex knowing he does not live here and filed on the order that he does. They lied in a court order to expedite the process in their favor and I am filing in court this week, filing a complaint with the MD real estate commission, and filing against the attorney with the American bar association. The apartments are filled with cockroaches (I have woken up to them crawling on me) and mice, the light switches have never worked to any outlets in both bedrooms, closet doors are all falling off and seem to always be that way, dishwasher doesn't drain, people play music at all hours in the complex at top volume, glass bottles broken in the parking lot, consistently overfilled dumpsters with trash overflow surrounding it almost weekly, balconies have peeling paint and look like crap, locks on main doors have never worked, their maintenance and pest control people let themselves into your apartment anytime (literally without notice maintenance will just walk in, I told them I've been sexually assaulted in my apartment and I'm not comfortable with this and they ignored it, so I got a dog and told them it bites. Now they don't ignore it, look at that) and I never complained and always paid the rent on time. But it doesn't matter, a soulless management company is just that. Another soulless management company. Everything is fine when living here if you have no problems in your life/nothing goes wrong. But don't count on these people for anything, they'll lie right to your face bc they don't have a soul. Rent from someone else if you were hoping for someone who cares at all about you. Spa Cove certainly doesn't! read more

I lived in the 900 block of Spa Cove for one year. I do not plan on moving back there. I cannot recommend it for anyone else unless you are pinched for $$. Pros: The community is fine. Neighbors were reasonably quiet. Anyone with access to google maps will see that it is close to Truxton park, which is great for walking yourself, and dogs. The rental rate is good (for Annapolis). Cons: Roaches. German cockroaches. Apparently these are the hardest to kill. You won't see any on your tour, and when you sign your lease, there will be a part of the lease that allows them to spray for bed bugs, roaches and mice. Thankfully we never experienced bed bugs, but we did find a dead mouse, and were visited on average once every three months for the year we lived there for roach "spraying." Good luck fighting them - we caulked every crevasse, cleaned (and dried) the sink every night, put out poison. Nothing worked. Management will tell you "oh, sometimes people bring them with them when they move." We had never lived with roaches our entire lives (it helps to come from the cold north), so that is a straight up lie. Thanks Will. If you don't believe us, see the photos. PS - Keep in mind that there is a big difference between the "900 block" and the "1000 block" of spa cove. We met a handful of people who formerly or currently live in the 1000 block. Kurt and Pam are super helpful at the office and the location is amazing! The grounds are beautiful and the club house and pool are well taken care of. This place is terrible. If you want to live with cockroaches, be my guest. They are all over my apartment -- in the shower, in the kitchen cupboards, and crawling up my bedroom wall. The management staff doesn't think this is an issue either. They claim to "exterminate," but all it ever does is flush the giant cockroaches out of the walls and into the apartment units. The buildings need to be torn down, and they need to start over with structures that are livable for humans beings. Lexin Spa Cove as well as the entire management staff on location should NOT be allowed to run any kind of services business. TERRIBLE; DO NOT MOVE HERE. I lived at Spa Cove Apartments for 3 years. The only reason I left was because of a new job that relocated me to Montgomery County. Now being in my new apartment, I realize how wonderful I had it at Spa Cove. The neighborhood was filled with trees and nature and you could hear the bird singing in the warm months. The apartment was comfortable and I LOVED and MISS the KITCHEN... So much space and cabinets. I was spoiled. I wish I never left. If you are looking for a place in Annapolis, I recommend Spa Cove. Can't wait until my lease is up in a month. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Parking is a nightmare. My ceiling leaks everytime it rains and nothing is done about it. It looked nice when driving in, but that isn't the case once you get all settled in. I have had nothing but trouble with roaches since I have lived here. The office staff is like talking to a deer caught in headlights. If you complain about anything, they make it seem like it is your fault. The walls are so thin, that you can hear every conversation that the neighbors are having. The police are always here for one thing or the another. The sewage system has backed up twice since I have been here and I live on the top floor. Beware of this place read more
