This was the busiest Buc-ee's I have ever been to. I seriously am like most Texan's who build a stop at Buc-ee's into my travel road stops, so I have been to several, but I have NEVER seen one where finding a parking spot or a pump available was an issue, until this visit. It was unbelievable and my three other travel companions all thought the same thing! Nonetheless, the place was well-stocked and the bathrooms were spotless. I am not quite sure how they do it; but this store was definitely on it! I got some corn-nuts and a drink and even though the lines were all pretty long, they staff here handled it all pretty well and. Moved us customers right along!

Buc-ee's is a gas station/restaurant/convenient store/rest stop/bakery/tourist destination that epitomizes Texas. It's big, friendly, busy, and a must stop if you're driving on a Texas highway. Buc-ee's is also known for having super clean bathrooms, which makes it a must visit. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Facility, Return) Atmosphere - If Walmart and 7/11 had a baby, it would be Buc-ee's. If you're visiting on a weekend, expect Buc-ee's to be very busy, inside and out. As you walk in, you'll be amazed that this is not your ordinary gas station. Buc-ee's has a BBQ station, sweets (like fudge), a section dedicated to beef jerky, drinks, merch, and even clothes. And in the center there will be (lots of) people lined up to use their clean bathrooms. 1 Star. Service - The staff is very nice and extremely efficient. There are tons of people to help you check out at each entrance, so what looks like a long line moves extremely fast. Seriously, you get in and out in no time. 1 Star. Facility - The BBQ sandwiches are legit, the Beaver Nuggets make a fun gift, you can buy any snack item you want, and the ICEE machines are always full. But for me, I never leave Buc-ee's without buying the Candied Pecans. The sweet, warm nuts are packaged in a paper cone that fits perfectly in my hand, so it's a perfect snack on the last leg home. But I can't stress this enough, the Buc-ees bathrooms are very clean. There are multiple stalls, so you never have to wait long. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I look forward to visiting Buc-ee's on every single road trip I take. Even if I don't need gas or need to use the bathroom, Buc-ee's is a welcome stop. 1 Star.

Mandatory stop on every opportunity. Learned from my previous visit that arriving later is better than early. More selections as far as BBQ sandwiches! Finally tried the Three Meat and Carolina Pulled Pork sandwiches. So good! Loaded up with gifts like jerky, beaver nuggets, coffee, and shirts. Problem is figuring how to pack it all into a luggage. Wish there were dining tables available but understand the possible reasons behind it. On the plus side, appreciate the workers being proactive on helping me find a few things. Heavily busy but it's difficult to stay clear from.

This place is huge! Where does one start?

Wednesday, 6-03-2026: I am in absolute awe of Buc-ee's! You could say I'm obsessed! I could spend hours in here. It has everything a hungry, thirsty, and weary traveler/visitor/tourist needs and then some! We purchased drinks and their assorted hot nuts: cashews, pecans, and almonds. The Beaver chips and their key lime pudding were so good. If you happen upon a Buc-ee's do stop & do a look see! You'll be glad you did!

I feel for the people who have never made it to a Buc-ee's. They're expanding and will eventually be somewhat close to you. And I don't understand the people who don't understand the appeal. It's a destination! Walmart meets Cracker Barrel with barbecue and jerky and a thousand gas pumps. You have to try it. I've now been to more than a dozen across the United States and I still get excited to step inside. Beaver Nuggets. Clean restrooms. Jerky. Fudge. A large brass beaver out front. It's something else and the Buc=ee's in Temple fits the brand well. I had a great time and look forward to the next one! [Review 379 of 2026 - 696 in Texas - 25564 overall]

$1.19. Keep the cup- it doubles as a bathroom.

"Willy Wonka Walmart" is how I describe this energetic, bright, and well-organized superstore full of inexpensive junk you think you need, all because its masterful marketing linked it to a rodent. Plus everyone, including the workers, are happy to be there and there's no long lines. Lots of merch and food. I got a foam baseball, a flashlight key chain, a cooler bag, my $1.19 XL Diet Dr. Pepper, and Beaver Nuggets for the neighbors, while the wife nabbed Mini Waffle Cones and Butter Toffee Pecans, which I highly recommend. This being my third time at a Buc-ee's, I was smart enough to go hungry and got a brisket sandwich from the busy busy foodworkers. Once second largest at 60,000 square feet, this particular Buc-ee's, the relief point between Dallas and Austin, ranks 11th in size out of 54. A mix of Outlaw Country with the busy Donki stores of Japan, I affectionately call these a "Delta Dawn Quixote."

I love this Buc-ee's. I didn't used to like this chain very much, but being in Temple has made me fond of it. I want my med school gala to be here. It's huge and overwhelming and overstimulating. It's the epitome of America/Texas. Big and unhealthy. We came out of our way to get some snacks and drinks to sneak into the movie theatre. Their fountain drinks and Icees are so cheap. I like their pulled pork sandwich.

I heard a lot about this place for the last few years that I had to make my way out when I knew we were doing the drive from Austin to Dallas! There's a lot of things I'd recommend you don't miss - the chopped beef brisket sandwich was a hit for me, ate it 3 different times hahaha I posted a bunch of merch we liked, but also don't miss all the beef jerky they offer!!! I highly recommend stopping if you're lookin for the best gas station stop you'll ever have!

Longest bathroom line ever, but likely due to Thanksgiving weekend.

Typical Bucees, but very very crowded in a Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I wouldn't go here in a holiday. The bathroom line was out to the END of the building, just wow and see the photo I took for validation. Nevertheless, the checkout lines were not long at all. Good planning Bucees!

Words of wisdom you can take home along with myriads of snacks, food, candy, drinks, etc.

Always a great travel stop. The best. No one does it like Buc-cee's with great fuel prices, clean restrooms, and more food than you can imagine. If there is a snack, Buc-cee's has it, and then some. Hot food, cold food, junk food, healthy food, BBQ brisket, smoked turkey, pulled pork, fudge, kolaches, scones, cookies, candied corn, and beaver pellets... Souvenirs, crafts, pickled green beans, pickled okra, pickled eggs, clothes, hunters' supplies, deer corn, more and more. You have to experience Buc-cee's at least once. No other travel stop will look the same.

What can I say about Buc-ee's that hasn't already been said? But holy cow... this place is something else. You don't just stop here, you experience it. Every time I walk in, I end up meeting some of the coolest people -- folks who will straight-up spark a conversation with you about how awesome this place is, like we're all part of the same little roadside cult. The place is spotless, like they hired an entire military unit whose only mission is to keep the floors shining. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and honestly feels like family the way they greet you with that "we got you" energy. And let's talk about convenience... the gas is cheap, the lines move fast, and they somehow have everything you need and everything you didn't even know you needed. Snacks, drinks, gear, gifts, food, merch -- it's like Target, a BBQ joint, and an airport gift shop had a baby and taught it Southern hospitality. This is the only stop I make on road trips. Buc-ee's never misses

How does a gas station become a tourist spot??!! Buc-ee's has succeeded. Massive facility. So many pumps. Long car wash. The food choices are incredible. Also very good espresso. Had to also get some souvenirs for the family including the dog. They have items priced to encourage purchasing.

Buc-ee's! Buc-ee's! Buc-ee's! This is the second location I've visited. It's super spacious and clean. This was a short pit stop on my way to the state fair in Dallas, so I didn't get any snacks. However, I did pick up a brisket egg taco for breakfast, and it was delicious!

    Ask the Community - Buc-ee's

Do they take Apple Pay with the apple card you know the metal one from Mastercard?

I have only been there once when I was visiting/on vacation but I'm 99% sure they take Apple Pay/Master Card

    Do y'all sell firewood?

Yes they do. Most locations have it available.

Is there plenty of truck parking?

No you're not allowed to bring your tractor or trailer to Bucky's and I agree because I am a truck driver and I stop at all the flying Jay's and all the loves and all the TNA truckstop's and we totally trash those places the parking lots are always…
