Everything is Dee-licious here! The sweet counter gals are right - the Almond Croissant is life changing! Slightly crunchy on outside, soft and almondy in middle and big. I ordered the cheddar bacon quiche that was absolutely phenomenal & prepared to perfection. The crust was made out of paper thin perfectly cooked potatoes & the eggs were so light & fluffy that showed the care this dish was made with. My partner ordered a cowboy up burrito that came with salsa from a jar hence only 4 stars, but if you visit this bakery definitely try the quiche. read more

In Quincy for the day, we stopped by looking for lunch and some goodies. They had a wonderful selection of baked goods and sandwich possibilities for lunch, and we enjoyed figuring out which of the nice options to choose from. We ended up with a quiche for lunch, which we ate behind the Courthouse. The quiche was excellent, and my wife was impressed with the way they integrated a potato crust into the mix. The baked goods were even better. All in all we bought an almond croissant, a puff pastry, a bear claw and cookie. Everything was perfect: sweet, flavorful and perfectly baked. The croissant and bear claw in particular were wonderful. Nicely, unlike many bakeries in the area that close at 2 PM, they are open until 6 PM, ideal for a midafternoon snack. They share space with Brewhaha Coffee, so you can get coffee and baked goods in one order. This was definitely the best bakery we found in the area on vacation. I was in Quincy for a training and saw the review for Bell Lane and had to try it out. I got the quiche and it was delicious. The quiche was perfectly cooked with a thin sliced potato crust. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will go back again. Also had to get a muffin and super large cookie. Shop is super fun, I'll have to spend more time looking around. read more

Embedded within Carry's Candy shop Bell Lane Baked Good's pastry chef Susan delivers state of the art, top quality pastries that stand up to the best I've had anywhere (even Europe). I grew up in Quincy but have spent the last 30 years living in SF. Finally I can visit my home town and get an a fantastic pastry and a great espresso drink in one stop. Also worth mentioning: high speed internet, a few tables, irresistible well priced candy (some made there, some vintage candy) , great service, and really good people (Susan - pastry and Amy- candy) run this place. I'll be sure to update you as I try things. My current favorite is the cheese Danish. I had a yummy bagel dog recently when I needed something savory . Most of the time there is a gluten free choice.... But early bird gets the worm . She bakes a good variety but not a lot of any one thing. Enjoy! Yep, I'm one of those folks who make the annual trek to Quincy for the High Sierra Music Fest. Last year, I happened to try a scone here on the way home, and I was floored how good it was. So this year, I called ahead and ordered a bunch in advanced. Of course my order was ready and waiting for me, and the folks there greeted me so warmly. But OMG, those scones! Huge, buttery, moist, and baked to perfection. The iced coffee they server is the perfect compliment, too (yes, pun intended....). On the way home, had the most wonderful chocolate chip cookie ever!) with my iced coffee, and mmmm mmmm good! Made the coast down the Feather river canyon so much more relaxing and great. Don't miss this place next time you're in Quincy!!!! It's inside a candy shop downtown, like if you need more reasons to stop in ;-) read more

With planning a wedding comes much happiness and excitement; however, it also comes with lots of stress, financial restrictions and much effort in finding the very best services within your budget. Thankfully we found Susan at Bell Lane. From start to finish she was very prompt, professional along with personal and did exactly what I had described and dreamed of as my wedding cake. She did a beautiful 3 tier cake along with (35 minute) delivery for an exceptional price. While communicating with Susan she always got right back to me and never left anything out. I even had my personalized cake topper sent directly to Bell Lane Baked Goods and it was beautifully placed on the cake when I arrived at my reception. I will always use and recommend Susan with ANY baking needs!!
