I absolutely love Merry Morsels!! One of the best bakeries I have ever been in. Heather is a sweet woman who is dedicated to making your 'sweet tooth' dreams come true. For my partner's birthday, I wanted custom non-dairy red velvet cupcakes and she made it possible. She is big on supporting local businesses, she has other cute products from local business. They also have drinks, I love the tiramisu oat milk iced latte. I come in here at least once a week. Being plant based In a small town can be hard. I had a big Plaid Themed party the day after Thanksgiving and desperately did NOT want to bake a Tres Leches Cake after the day prior being nothing but cooking. But Tres leches is so easy to be made wrong from an outside source. I found Merry's and had the pleasure of discussing all my needs with Heather. And Wow! Service Top Notch. She even recommended the cupcakes after hearing the details of the event and made the cupcakes match my theme. She stayed in touch with me since I live in Chico, to make sure the time coordinated with the party perfectly and the cupcakes wouldn't have to sit. These cupcakes were amazing!!!! Old school for real butter cream icing on their cupcakes that is delicious! Best turnover I've ever had (blueberry). I thought the prices were very reasonable and fair for the quality and great craft of light and flakey pastries and true butter cream frosting. If you buy two large cupcakes it's just $5. At Safeway you'd pay more and they changed their buttercream icing recipe years ago to a version that cannot come close to Merry Morsels'. On top of delicious baked goods -- I left happier and with a warm feeling from the interactions with all the staff that work there. Truly good people who are warm, friendly, and genuine. I highly recommend this wonderful bakery! I called Heather (with a 1-day notice, btw) requesting a cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday. My daughter really wanted strawberries and something princess-ish , so that's what I told Heather. I expected a typical birthday cake with strawberry filling... what we got was a fantastic and delicious creation, complete with a princess tiara! My daughter was so surprised and loved it SO much! The cake was so moist and delicious! The strawberry filling was yummy and of course my kiddos' favorite part. This bakery is great! I had timely responses from Heather for a delivery I needed, and she was extremely helpful. The lattes, slutty brownie, quiche, and pastries are all DELICIOUS!
