If you are renting equipment, either motorized or not, he sincerely takes the time to ensure proper use for safety but not in a condescending way. My wife had never ridden a jet ski before and he spoke to her encouragingly and gave her instructions of what to do if she decided she wanted to drive. Which at first she was terrified of. No doubt, when we were out on the water she screamed "Ok, my turn...I want to drive!!" We had a great 4 days away from work, kids, and school while celebrating our Friday the 13th successful brain tumor removals (separate, but surgeries the same day different years). Angelo and Lazy Days were an excellent addition to rounding out our stay. We reserved two chairs for the days we were there, we kayaked, jet skied, and enjoyed our company when Angelo dropped in to ensure we were comfortable. I am critical and I work in customer service. If you don't know how to serve or have a problem with the words "server" or "service" you are in the wrong business. Angelo knows what it is to give a part of himself, in service, to enhance your time. And we reciprocated by thanking him and appreciating him, as you should. You get your option of two different pontoons that you yourself captain. Those two options are the pontoon with or without the two slides. We opted for without as it is easier to maneuver on days where it is windy. Both have a shaded canopy on deck, so you are not sitting in the sun the entire time. You can rent the radio and mat for the water and even take your dog. We have not rented any of these as we usually just bring our speaker. The other options are the length of time; you get a choice of 4 or 8 hours. We always opt for 4 because they is plenty of time. Overall, they offer a convenient and fun addition to anyone's FL vacation. We will absolutely be back!

I personally did not find it clear that I would be charged anything above the advertised price; it seemed like the advertised price was "all inclusive" and when I called to book nothing was stated otherwise. I only received a text confirmation when I booked, but it would've been really helpful to receive more of an official confirmation and/or agreement via email that includes a full cost breakdown. I was also expecting some sort of confirmation/reminder the day of, just for peace of mind, but I did not receive anything. The boat was amazing and had space to accommodate my entire family of five including my father in law. I'd never been sailing before, so it was really interesting to see how the boat works, and also to watch the teamwork and communication between Captain Carey and his First Mate Rhonda. My only issue was that the lady who checked us in basically fat shamed. She kept asking for weight, and implying that if i didn't get on the banana boat i wouldn't be able to get to the other boat. I'm a thick girl but I'm not fat. I'm a very active girl so i was very confused. I wasn't the only one who felt this way. There was another family who went with us and the mom was a bigger lady. The lady who checked us in kept asking loudly in a rude way what her weight was. I'm pretty sure no woman wants to tell her weight in front of people. I just felt it was a better way to ask these questions since we had already answered them on the wavier we had to sign. Going forward i think it's best to make sure you review the waiver that everyone signs. If we would have listened to the check in lady we wouldn't have went because she made it as if we were too fat to go.

He made sure I knew the cancellation policy on weather conditions and I have to say, they are FAR more generous than any other company I've dealt with. He wasn't afraid to zig zag through the crowd to get us right in the middle of all the fun, which is exactly where we wanted to be. He provided a big floating mat, a beer pong game that was a huge hit with our group, a big Bluetooth speaker, as well as his photo services. He had no problems taking pics of our group for us while we had our fun. He got in the water and played football with the husbands and retrieved drinks and Jell-O shots for the ladies. We were hoping for a true sailing experience, but the boat primarily used the motor and we were not warned ahead of time that weather conditions would likely prevent sailing. That was disappointing since it was a main reason we booked. We also chose to do the snorkel stop, but there was very little to see--no shells or marine life--and there wasn't much guidance or help provided for snorkeling. It felt more like being dropped off than a guided experience. The crew was polite, but overall the experience felt underwhelming for the price, especially with the strong expectation of a 20% tip. I would recommend asking detailed questions about sailing conditions and what to expect from the snorkel stop before booking
