We had a wonderful sailing experience with Pam! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip unforgettable. We got to swim/snorkel and even saw jellyfish, sharks, and dolphins. Such an amazing adventure! Highly recommend d if you're looking for a fun and unique day on the water. Thanks, Pam!

Great adventure and GREAT CREW!!! Smile n Wave is the best part of our annual vacation repeatedly and we can't wait to go again!!!! Thank you

Pam is an amazing human who offers an incredible experience in the gulf and jetty. This was our fourth year and we loved seeing all kinds of dolphin pods. Pam is a solid Christian woman with a heart for loving other people and just being an amazing human. Don't deal with a crowded boat, go on smile and wave and get first class service

My favorite photo of my Husband and I ever! Pam went above and beyond to take photos we love on our sail- without us even asking her to!

My husband and I have made a tradition of sailing with Captain Pam every time we are in Destin. Our first sail was a private, sunset catamaran ride the evening my husband proposed. Pam spent so much time taking detailed photos of us out on the water/ of my ring. It was the highlight of our trip! Pam made such an impact on us both that we have booked her year after year! She has become a close friend of ours all because of the magic she works out on her boat. My Christmas card photos for three years in a row have been taken by her, and I wouldn't want it by other way. Book with her for an incredible sailing experience, great photos and even better company.

Pam is a lovely girl with a great personality. My boyfriend & I had interesting conversation with her before we both realized we were super tired & needed a nap. She catered to our every need before & after the nap & even took photos of us & texted them to me. She had a cooler full of ice & we were allowed to bring a few beers!

This was such a peaceful family adventure. Pam was wonderful. She took a ton of pictures for us. And when we ended up being the rare excursion where the dolphins weren't cooperating she took us for a swim instead. She did a great job making the 2 hours on the boat fun.

We had an amazing time. Captain Pam couldn't have been nicer. She grew up here and was so knowledgeable. We son a ton of dolphins and she took amazing pictures of our family for us. This was the highlight of our trip! It got chilly at the end she had blankets for us and couldn't have been more prepared! This is a must do!

Will definitely book again next time! Thank you Capt Pam for a wonderful

We had such a relaxing time on our cruise and Captain Pam and her crew gave us so much information on what we were seeing.

I must say, I am completely baffled on how Boat Charter Destin has such a high rating as our family…read morevacation experience was a complete disappointment and a waste of our hard earned money. I am not one to post negative reviews, however this experience warrants it. I will add that I e-mailed the charter in an effort to address our experience and they have opted to not respond so I am happy to share our negative experience publicly. Funny how they respond quickly when you are booking a trip, but fail to respond if there is an issue to be addressed post trip. Our trip was scheduled to depart at 7am, however the boat was not prepared for departure and we did not get under way until 7:52am. Our Captain (Jeff) did not have the boat fueled, he did not have ice, nor bait ready for our trip. While "fueling" the boat, he managed to fill the fresh water tank reservoir with gasoline, requiring the marina to subsequently pump the gasoline out before we could depart. Obviously this did not instill confidence as to the captains boating capabilities or familiarity with the boat. Since we opted to place our personal possessions into the china toilet cabinet, all of our personal belongings ended up reeking of fuel vapors. After preparing the boat for our "fishing" trip, Jeff had to make yet an additional detour to obtain ice and bait for the trip. I will add he only obtained 20 bait fish for the entire trip. Knowing the complexity of the ocean and the likelihood that one will go through a lot of bait while trying to catch fish, why would you only get 20 baitfish and then put several of the baitfish on the hook in whole instead of preparing cut bait??? Being an avid fisherman, it is important to match bait size to hook size. If the fish are stealing the bait, put smaller pieces of the bait on the circle hooks so they can't just rip it off and they have to actually take the bait....or switch to J hooks. Now that we have finally spent an hour and a half of our morning anxiously awaiting for Jeff to have the boat ready for the fishing trip, we finally get under way. After getting to our first fishing spot, Jeff informed us we would be using three rods for our four person fishing trip until he got us on some fish.....which never happened. Since the captain invested in cheap fishing gear, there was an issue with one of the reels while attempting to land a fish and we only "fished" with three rods for the remainder of the trip. Should have been more prepared for this I would think. Without exaggeration, we literally had our lines wet and in the water for less than 30 minutes for the entire five hour "fishing" trip. In full disclosure, there were dolphins following the boat and made fishing a bit more difficult. Jeff would put us on a spot and we would drop our lines a couple times and we would again move to a new location which could take an extensive amount of time. We literally fished 4 spots the entire trip and I am not exaggerating when I say we only had our lines in the water for 30 minutes total. This is unacceptable! I hope anyone who takes the time to read our review will not have the same negative experience we did. Since we reside in Texas, we based our decision to use this charter after reading the posted reviews. We now realize our experience did not mimic that of others. You would think the charter would want to address our experience, but it seems they got their money and they are moving on to the next. I wish future customers the best!

People walked by with all their catches and everything. We each paid the $2 to walk anyway, and the entire pier is lined with people fishing! We did go during Memorial Day weekend, so I understand this is a busier time, but wow. It made for a smelly walk. Only the area near the shore had space for taking photos, so we were off the pier in like 10 minutes. Going for the sunset seemed great until actually being there, but we did learn from the signs on the pier that they would have a firework show, which we came back for. The firework show was about 5-ish minutes long, but it was great! They go all out at the end, so there's a lot of fireworks going off.

I highly recommend taking a walk. The salty air is super refreshing, and the wind makes it a very pleasant experience. Also, the scenic views are amazing. I have been to the pier several times, and I really enjoyed seeing the different wild life. I have seen jellyfish, herons and even sea turtles. I have never fished there, but I have seen people catch fish. I also have heard the best seasons to catch fish are spring and summer.
