Until last year in Navarre, we would rent scooters and travel to Pensacola for lunch and shopping at the pier. It was the nicest view driving through the sand dunes via the scenic route. We could see the ocean and feel the salty air hit our cheeks and sometimes tangle our hair but it was always something my family and I looked forward to. We met Sage and her family maybe four years ago. I was so impressed to learn that Sage was only a teenager when she founded her company. Her family supported her idea of supplying Navarre with bikes to maneuver around the quaint town. And it grew beyond bikes. Our time in Navarre was always with Sage Paddles on the itinerary after discovering how peaceful and memorable scooting around town afforded our family. We wanted to support Sage and her sweet family especially after we learned of her story. Sadly, as of last year they no longer have scooters available. We never quite got to the bottom of why but we have cherished the memories this small family owned company helped us create. Rented their Mad Dog scooter and boy was I glad! Best way to spend a few hours around the beach, getting food and enjoying the scenery. You are limited to the beach road between bridges, but if you are new to the area, just visiting, and don't own a motorcycle you will have a lot of fun. I rented the scooter for 4 hours, had the best fish sandwich of my life (swordfish, fresh catch, grilled to perfection) at "Red Fish, Blue Fish" (see my review there) also recommended by the staff at Sage Paddle Co., which by the way, is not just paddle boards! ;-) And then went for a swim at the most beautiful beach in the world. Not a bad way to spend a leisurely day before a business seminar packed weekend! I'll have something to day dream about if I get board, lol. Lastly, I also figured out you don't need a towel! Driving back 4 miles on a scooter in the Florida sun after a swim is a great and efficient way to dry off! read more

Renting from Sage Paddle was so easy! We rented a golf cart for the week while we were in Navarre, and they were so accommodating. They showed up to drop off our golf cart within about 30 minutes of us arriving at our rental property. We ended up tacking on the chair and umbrella set up as well, and they were so accommodating- even when our plans changed due to the weather a couple of days. When the day came to return our golf cart, they came and picked it up with plenty of time left for us to check out of our rental. Family owned, professional, and incredibly friendly. Shame on me not reviewing them when we first used them last year, but they literally gave us the coats off their backs when we went for an early morning kayak. Best of all, they bring and pick up the boards, you text them and let them know when and where you are and they come to you (and sometimes give you a ride home if you are far from your condo)! Fella with a man bun thought he was cute and quiet enough with muttering " y'all renting scooters or buying real estate?" Under his breath.... Aside from that first impression from their rude employee, the rest of the folks at Sage were a delight to work with. Wish we would have known all the scooters they offered. Such a great experience!! Sage's dad was doing deliveries in the off season when we were on vacation in Navarre Beach. He brought all the equipment within minutes of setting up the rentals and gave us a lesson on how to use the paddle boards. Very easy communication on drop off and pick up times via text and excellent rental prices! Even though most of us had never paddle boarded, we all picked it up quickly thanks to the great equipment and lesson. During our week we saw dolphins out on the boards every day on the inter coastal and watched sunsets out on the boards in the evening. Sage's rentals made our vacation!! read more

We were staying in Navarre area and wanted to try something new and active. I looked up paddleboarding rentals in the area and the closest one was just around the corner from our beach entry. We rented a paddleboard for a half day (4hrs) which came with life jacket and paddle. The manager of the local outfit is a young lady named Sage who delivered the paddleboard within 15 minutes beach side! Communication was smooth and Sage provided us a brief demo of basics. Since we had experience with kayaking we didn't ask for a demonstration on the water although one was offered. We really appreciated the great customer service and friendly interface with this small company. We will definitely be renting from Sage again! read more
