Bella Brides was my first experience trying on wedding dress, and it was a delight. I was visiting from out of town and my friend (who is a wedding photography in the area, gwenshoemaker.com) recommended checking Bella Brides out since she had worked with them previously. It happened to be the weekend of the wedding show in Bend, but they really worked with me on setting up an appointment very last minute that could meet my needs. Jesseca was there on Friday to help guide me through the wedding dress dance! Jesseca is very energetic, kind and had a great eye to what I was looking for (and I didn't even know what I was looking for). Within the first two dresses she could tell by my body language what style I was steering towards and really what complimented my body. She even got some brand new dresses out and one from the window that I had eyed, but didn't mention. I really liked that she explained everything to me and answered all the 'silly' question and stuff that even seemed obvious to a new bride to be. At the close of the appointment, she went over everything, we talked about some of my favorites and made an appointment to see Bella Brides again. That's funny, because I had the complete opposite experience as the previous. I had a hard time finding dresses in the Portland area. I came to Bend for the bridal show last weekend and Nicole was able to squeeze me in at the last minute. She knew exactly what would look good on me, but still let my MOH and I wander around and pull things we wanted to try. I only tried on 5 dresses and ended up absolutely loving one that I didn't like on the rack, but that Nicole recommended for me. She was very helpful and attentive. There were other people in the store shopping, but I didn't feel like my experienced was compromised by her helping other customers. As for price, there were dresses for any budget. I saw dresses anywhere from around $200 to $1500. I don't know what the actual range is that they have, but that's just what I saw. I thought it being a smaller boutique that I wouldn't be able to afford a dress there, but Nicole was great and helped me find one that was in my (tight) budget, in my style, and that could be ordered in my tight time frame (5 months). I couldn't be more happy with my experience...it definitely added to my wedding memories. Oh, and do make an appointment...I think that's why I had such a great experience. read more

This bridal shop is absolutely AMAZING!!! I have been to a few others around town and this one does not compare to any of them at all. In the last week I had went back about 4 times, only because I was unsure of what dress to buy and feeling the stress of a time crunch. Each time going into the shop she would always make me feel comfortable by welcoming me, when she obviously had a lot on her hands. She went the extra mile for me, I am so appreciative that I had heard other great reviews about Bella and checked it out for myself. I was first off very impressed because they are usually closed on Sundays and one of the employees named Jesseca was willing to make a special appointment for my mom, sister and me to come in since my mom and sister were visiting out of town. Not to mention it was super bowl Sunday. Jesseca is so welcoming and gave me the best experience trying on dresses. I brought in some photos to show her kind of what I was looking for. I also gave her my budget and told her I wasn't willing to budge and she totally worked with me to fund the perfect dress in my price range. I was amazed that the dress I ended up loving the most was only $499! She told me that the same dress is at a boutique in portland being sold for $800, but that bella brides tries to give the lowest MSRP. It was a steal of a deal. I am sure that if you go to Bella brides you will have an amazing time and find the dress of your dreams. They have so many different styles with some being fashion forward that you wouldn't see anywhere else to also more timeless editions. I love Bella brides and would recommend the boutique to anyone. One of the most pleasant shopping experiences of my life!. As a new bride-to-be I made an appointment last week with Sarah at Bella Brides in downtown Bend. After visiting a couple other bridal shops in the past month, I was starting to feel nervous about finding just the right dress. I was still a bit unsure of exactly what I was looking for. I arrived with a few of the girls in my bridal party to a warm welcome and found a a Bridal Shop stocked with so many beautiful and affordable wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses. Sarah was so kind and attentive and patient and had so many wonderful suggestions. She made me feel so comfortable and made the whole experience easy and fun. After a few trial fittings, I found the most beautiful dress - at a price well within my budget. I am so happy, thrilled and excited..and I know my husband is going to love it too! Jesseca at Bella Brides was a wedding dress angel! I was a first time wedding dress buyer and Jesseca was patient, had a great eye for detail, and attentive to our wants and needs! She took all the dresses my family and I selected and helped me see details or ask questions about things I didn't consider being an issue. I was thankful I had her input! Any time we looked at a dress Jesseca would have the perfect embellishment to complete the look or add a new way of considering the potential options. By the end of our appointment we had the "perfect dress"! We did not feel pressure to buy that day. "We slept on the idea" and phoned the owner, Sarah the next morning. Sarah came in to finalize the sale of the dress which we really appreciated because we drove in for the weekend from out of town. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxed and professional. Bella Brides is a true gem of a bridal shop in beautiful Downtown Bend! Their spacious shop is a lovely, comfortable space. Our bride was just beginning the search for her perfect wedding dress. Sarah was exceptionally helpful in not only suggesting specific dresses, but she understood the subtle ins and outs of different styes. We thought she was extremely generous with her time. Sarah's comment, "You can try on EVERY dress in this shop if you wish!" was no joke. I was honestly taken with the number of dresses at affordable prices that were available. Although our bride narrowed it to 2 gowns, she was at the beginning of her search and wasn't ready to commit. What really impressed me was how gracious Sarah was and how she sincerely wanted our bride to feel like the dress she chose was perfect for HER. I went to Bella Brides after looking through the website and seeing one that I was instantly in love with. I made an appointment, expecting to likely not find a dress that day... Jessica was so helpful, she made me feel so special and listened to what I was hoping to find. She and my bridesmaids selected around 15 dresses. I liked the ones Jessica picked out the most! Finally we saved the dress I had picked out for the end, to my surprise, it fit perfect, it was so flattering on me, I had found my dress! Pop the champagne! I was lucky enough to be a perfect whole size and paid the extra $50 for the shorter hemline, so my dress needed no expensive alterations. I was also happy to find out that they also do tux/suit rental. After we had purchased a trendy relaxed suit for my future hubby, he decided he hated it, 2 weeks to go, we went to Jessica. I went to nearly all of the bridal salons in Bend, and Bella Brides unquestionably provided the best customer service and experience when shopping for my wedding dress. The atmosphere is clean and couture, and all of my anxious and nervous feelings immediately subsided when I walked through the door. Being a bride can be stressful at times, but Sarah and her staff made me feel welcomed, appreciated, and cared for. They have the greatest selection of chic and glamour dresses in town. The biggest problem I had was deciding which dress to choose (because they were all so amazing)! When my dress arrived at the salon, Sarah came in on a day that it was closed in order to work with my busy schedule. You truly get a sense for her genuine love of people, and her strive to make every bride feel beautiful on her wedding day. If I could give a 1/2 star or NO star I would!!! My daughter was in a wedding coming up and she thought she had a size discrepancy after the dress arrived. I called the owner, NICOLE, and right off the bat I sensed an attitude. She brought the dress in, NICOLE proceeds to rip the dress out of my hands to look at the size and argued with me on what the next size up would be. NICOLE was so rude and condescending that as I was leaving she slammed the door right behind me!!! I have 2 daughter's, 22 & 16 and I would think she'd be a little more courteous with her customers, especially in this economy. The horrendous way NICOLE treats her customers, as I can see that it's happened before, leads me to believe she should call it quits or get someone that knows how to treat people working there. I guess her place never got any awards for the best bridal shop in town! Steer clear of this place. Go somewhere else more professional. read more

I wanted to check out this salon in Bend that sells Maggie Sottero. I called them up, they said they could fit me in at 11 so I went in. There is only one lady who's the owner/operator and she'd double booked me and another bride. At first I was optimistic that she could handle us both but she completely ignored me. She didn't ask me anything about what kind of dresses I liked, or my wedding venue, or really anything at all. I don't think she even knew my name. I picked out the dresses, had to wait 5-10 mins for her to get back to the dressing room to help me get into the dress, then once I was in it she left me on the podium for another 10-15 mins while she dealt with the other bride. I was only there an hour and only tried on 3 dresses. She was very attentive with the other bride, even got her to buy a dress, but I eventually stormed out. My suggestion, make sure you're the only bride in salon! read more

I truly didn't expect to find a dress when I made my appointment. My mom lives in Bend and we weren't able to look at dresses together otherwise (I'm in NYC) so it was more of a mother-daughter date initially, and to get some ideas. But Jesseca is a *total pro.* I had such a wonderful time. She asks all the right questions and she really listens. She didn't make us feel guilty about having a strict budget. I left with a stunning bridesmaid dress that will be made for me in ivory and I totally love it, I didn't want to take it off! She gave me a wreath to wear when I mentioned I wanted to wear one, and made sure I left the dressing room with a bouquet in my hand every time we felt like we were getting close. Buying my wedding dress at Bella Brides couldn't have been a more wonderful experience! I was fortunate enough to work with the new owner of Bella Brides, Sarah, who is an absolute angel! I was very indecisive and had to come in a ton of times but not once did Sarah seem frustrated. She never made me feel like I was a bother, although I ended up taking so much of her time. I never felt pressure to buy a dress I wasn't crazy about or more importantly to budge from my small budget! She worked very hard to keep me within that budget and I ended up finding a dress that I loved and could afford. As an older first time bride I was in need of guidance...What did I want? Like? Would be comfortable in? what was age appropriate? Jesseca had it dialed in. I found my top 2 dresses in less than an hour. On my next visit we made the decision, my mother and sister were in complete agreement. Since then all of my bridesmaids, several from out of state, and the groom and all the fathers and groomsmen have also worked with Jesseca. To a person, they all gave her 5 stars. She cares and is sweet and so knowledgeable about their products. She takes the whole person into account and with bridesmaids and groomsmen ranging from mid 40s to mid 70s we are all happy with our looks. I had an amazing time shopping for my wedding dress at Bella Brides yesterday! Sarah is so sweet, knowledgable and positive. She had already picked out some dresses for me to try on based on the photos I sent, and her picks were spot on. I ended up purchasing the first dress she had picked out for me, which was the first wedding dress I'd ever put on! Because most of my family is out of town, Sarah let me set up a zoom call so my mom, sister, and other friends could join the day remotely. She flew to Bend from Florida with her family and we went shopping. I had several appointments set up at different bridal shops. Bella was our first stop. Jessica greeted us with open arms and there was never a feeling of pressure. I am so, SO glad I stumbled upon this place! Found them on google and decided to see if I could get a last minute appointment while visiting for Christmas. Ashleigh who called me after the appt request was so sweet and helpful and was able to accommodate us and handle a last minute change of times. When we got to our appointment, Charlene was ready for us! She was so welcoming, kind and so warm. She had drinks ready and dresses pre-selected based on what I'd relayed to Ashleigh. After going to multiple dress shops, I was feeling pretty defeated on finding the perfect dresses. And then I found Bella Brides. From the very first phone call, Jesseca was amazing to work with. When we made the trip to Bend for my appointment, she had delicious French lemonade waiting for me and amazing dresses already pulled. She accommodated our group of 5, let us bring snacks and beverages in, and just made the entire experience incredibly special.
