When I arrived, they only had 2 of the 5 dresses I was interested in and it was clearly their first time looking at the notes for my appointment. Two months later I finally get my dress in the mail and it is nothing like what I tried on in store. My friend and I got the same one and have the same issue with the top being extremely stiff and has permanent wrinkles. Alterations will not touch it. We booked a group appointment, and we were told each one of us would come inside individually since we were still in the middle of covid. However, I was disturbed by the fact that the employees let an entire bridal party come in and try on wedding dresses, and they didn't even have an appointment. Strike 1. During the fitting, the woman who helped us was nice enough. However, the sizing was a joke. All the dresses were sized too small, so I ended up getting a size 18 instead of a normal 14 or 16, which ended up costing me more for "more fabric." Strike 2. Then they told us it would take 4 months for the dresses to arrive. Cutting it a little close there, but okay. Fast forward to the week they are supposed to arrive, and they aren't here. The company hasn't updated us at all about where they are or when they will get here. They aren't answering any of our calls or emails. The wedding is in 3 weeks, and all of us still have to get alterations. Strike 3. Do not waste your money with this company. The tagline of this store should be "Always Overpromise and Always Underdeliver." I took one of my bridesmaids there to try on dresses and we ultimately ended up ordering four bridesmaids dresses through them. The try-on experience felt rushed and our attendant seemed put off by us wanted to try on more than a few dresses. It was VERY busy in there, so we ended up helping ourselves to the racks and dresses and ultimately found something we liked. This is where the problems really started. My bridesmaids all live in different cities and Bella told me that would be very easy to coordinate as they are a national chain. That is correct, there was a store close to each bridesmaid. The stores didn't all have the dresses for my bridesmaids to try on, so Bella Nashville offered to ship two dresses to two different stores. I worked with Bella and my bridesmaids on dates to ship the dresses and they promised they would do it. Well the dresses arrived to one store, but never to the second store. I wish they just would have let me know they couldn't coordinate something like that instead of wasting our time. Beyond that, their ordering website was really clunky causing me to have to call / email multiple times for them to fix problems with the website and ordering process. Then, when it came time for the dress arrivals, things got really bad. Bella's process was that the dresses would be shipped from the manufacturer to Bella Nashville and then re-packed and sent to each bridesmaid. There was a $25 charge for each dress to do this! Bella Nashville told me they would ship out the dresses to the bridesmaids as soon as they arrived to the store. Fast forward a couple of months, I called the manufacturer to get an idea of when the dresses would be done. They said they were done and had been shipped to Bella the prior week. I emailed Bella about this and didn't hear anything, so then I called. This was Tuesday. They told me that, yes, the dresses had arrived but they would not have time to ship them out until the FOLLOWING WEEK. I asked to speak with a manager but they were unavailable. I then called the Corporate office and everyone assured me that they would be sent out on Thursday. They told me that my bridesmaids would receive an email where they would have to confirm their address. This never happened. They told me that tracking numbers would be sent out to my bridesmaids on Thursday. This never happened. Considering that they are forcing a signature upon arrival, everyone is totally inconvenienced in not knowing what is going on with these dresses. As of right now (Friday), we have no idea if the dresses have actually been sent out or it is just more misinformation, over-promising on their part. Overall, the dresses should be in the bridesmaids hands now if Bella had not delayed everything. If I had to do it all again, I would just go directly through the manufacturer. We would have saved the shipping cost and all the headaches that Bella causes. They make it sound like it will be easier to order through them, but that is the total opposite... My advice - order direct or through another bridal store that carries the brand of dress that you want. read more

I recently visited this store to start the bridesmaid-shopping process for a dear friend's wedding. The shop is small but lovely. The décor is contemporary-feminine. The sales girl was very sweet and informative and patient- we're an outspoken bunch and had many, many opinions! It's not my wedding so I can't speak to the selection compared to other stores- we tried on quite a few and saw several winners, so you can definitely get the job done. What I did notice was that they don't seem to maximize on the "experience" factor. What do I mean? It's a store where only girls shop, for one of the most girly items ever- second only to an actual bridal gown. I guess we expected it to be more . . . personal? Some tips: Gussy up the restroom! It's big and empty and . . . I think concrete? Add some frill- a table for handbags to rest (we all have them), some Kleenex (for both happy and frustrated moments), some scent (candles or a reed diffuser), or some hooks on the wall. A full-length mirror. Although there's at least one dressing room, I find it hard to believe that it wouldn't be beneficial for the restroom to be able to double as a back-up. In the main room, a coat rack (for the season, or hooks on the wall for any season) would've been nice, especially since there's limited seating. I don't remember if there was music playing, which kind of speaks for itself, doesn't it? Offer some extremely light refreshments? Tea, lemonade, or even just some infused water. It's so easy to make a bride and her girls really swoon over this type of shopping, with just a little more effort. This is one type of business that doesn't have to be ALL business. In shopping for bridesmaids dresses and accessories only--they don't carry any wedding gowns--I think that this is one of the best places to go in Nashville. They have dresses by Priscilla of Boston, Melissa Sweet, Vera Wang, Jenny Yoo, and several others. It's by appointment only, but usually you can get in on pretty short notice. It is nice that way, because you are the only one in there (with your friends or whoever of course) with the salesperson and you get great one on one attention. It is a chain--although it's the only one in Nashville (nearby cities include Birmingham, Atlanta, and Louisville) but that's good thing because if you have bridesmaids all over the United States, they can go into any store and be fitted and see and try on the exact dresses you pick out. Like a designer that they carry, but don't see a specific dress by that designer that you are looking for? No problem! They can still order it for you. Easy to work with, and prices are decent--as a bridesmaid 13 times over (don't quite have Katherine Heigl beat, but close!) this has been the easiest store to work with that I have ever encountered! I had a great experience here! I shopped all over nashville to find bridemaids dresses for my girls and came up empty handed every single time. I was wanting "mix and match" type dresses with different textures and styles but was completely overwhelmed by the idea of pulling this together. Bella's dress selection is a bit pricer than some other larger chains; however, the service they provide makes up for this additional expense (I also would argue that the quality of dresses is far, far better than cheap chain competitors). The sales associates completely understood what I was looking for and did all of the work for me and then DID IT AGAIN when I decided to go with a slightly different color scheme. I love that they JUST sell bridesmaid dresses as we were under-helped at every store that also sold bridal gowns (understandable, but still frustrating). Know that you are going to spend a bit more here than you would expect at David's Bridal or the like, but also know that the service is leaps and bounds above as well! read more

This was the most helpful and least painful dress shopping experience that I had during the wedding planning process! After lots of online browsing, pinterest-ing, etc., I made appointments for my 'maids and I to visit a few shops that carried the styles and color of dresses we had narrowed it down to. Most bridal shops treated us as second class citizens and couldn't be bothered to help us (even with an appointment!) since we were there for bridesmaid dresses and not a wedding dress. But not Bella! TGFB. Thank God for Bella! We arrived a little early (since the previous place was a total, unhelpful bust) and were told to come back at our appointment time. No big deal, go next door to Taziki's for a glass of wine! It's a tiny shop and there isn't much room to wait - which is great once you're up since all the attention is on your group! The staff was 100% focused on us and had already pulled the styles I had mentioned when I made the appointment. Since we were the only ones in there, we had total reign of the multiple dressing rooms, so everyone could try things on at the same time, which was really helpful for comparisons and to speed the process along. The staff also seemed genuinely interested in helping us find flattering/comfortable dresses for each person. They offered their honest opinions and didn't seem to be pushing us into a sale or into the most expensive dresses. (There's nothing I hate more than being told by a salesperson that I look amazing and need to buy something when I clearly look like a stuffed sausage) The only minor negative thing was that since it's a small shop, the color selection was a bit limited. They had the styles we wanted to see, but only one was in our color. Anything could be ordered, but beware if you're planning to see the actual dress in your actual color. PRO TIP: I ordered swatches from the designer I knew I wanted before going, so I already knew what the color would look like on each different fabric texture. Bella was great throughout the whole process, including ordering and picking up. They send reminder emails and give you a suggested ordering deadline based on your date, but were flexible when we needed to extend that a bit, woops. The dresses came in earlier than estimated and we had no issues. They don't do alterations, but did recommend someone if we needed it (we didn't use them, so I can't vouch for their rec). We had such a great experience here. The salon is kind of around the side of the building - you cannot see it from the road. The salon was very clean and well-organized, beautifully decorated, and they did take all of my information prior to my appointment which, I felt, kept things moving well. I really did not want to ask my bridesmaids to spend more than $200. Unfortunately, we went straight for dresses that blew that budget. Our stylist was very kind and helpful, even offering to put on a dress herself so we could see several together. It was easy to go for the mix 'n' match look here. We found several beautiful dresses (Adrianna Papell, Jenny Yoo, WTOO, Hayley Paige...) but nothing that fell within the price range I was comfortable asking my girls to pay. I feel like some other places I've bought a bridesmaid dress from that have in house alterations make you order a size bigger than you actually need so they can make extra money from you. The staff at Bella were wonderful in helping us select dresses that fit each brides individual vision. We must have visited the store five or six times over several months before deciding on the " perfect " dress for each wedding. Their selection is great, their website is easy to navigate, and their customer service is top-notch. Although each store is individually owned, they work well with other Bella stores throughout the country, allowing out of state bridesmaids to go to their closest store to preview dresses and have their measurements taken.
