Poor service. Over priced dresses.... can't help with tailoring in house. I have bought over 5 bridesmaid dresses from other places but this is the WORST place to go to in CLE! Ick. All the staff I worked with didn't seem to know what they were doing. The one girl who measured me didn't seem to know what she was doing and measure incorrectly. The redhead who works there is sharp, unhelpful and kinda give off a, " I'm better than you vibe." I came to pick up my dress during my appt and said I wanted to wait for my friend who had the appt after me. The staff made me wait in the back of the store. I was a paying customer! I bought a bridesmaid dress from here for a wedding that was supposed to happen in October 2023. While my friend's wedding never happened, I still kept the dress to use for a future wedding. Actually, I had to keep the almost $200 dress because no returns are possible. SERVICE -- Excellent service. I booked an appointment in May 2023 with stylist Brielle S., at the Cleveland location showroom. I arrived with my friend who was another bridesmaid. My appointment was smooth and Brielle was very helpful. She took my measurements and helped me adjust the dress with clips when I put it on. The bride, who does not live in Ohio, already had the dress that she wanted the bridesmaids to wear so all I had to do was come try the dress on then either order it in the store or order it at home online. While the specific colour, light blue ("cloudy") was not available to try on, I tried on a pink colour just to get an idea of how the dress would fit. Specifically, here is the dress style that I bought -- Designer: Dessy Group Style: BB123 Fabric: Lux Chiffon, Color: Cloudy Size: 8 (I'm normally a size 6 but I ordered a bit bigger due to the style of this dress where the shoulder area is more snug or tight) Extra Length: Yes I recommend Bella Bridesmaid for your dress needs. I was a part of a bridal group that went to Bella bridesmaids for my cousins wedding. They do have a wonderful selection of different colors and styles of dresses. But not super inclusive when it comes to any size over 14. (very limited) The girls in the bridal group were over a size 10 and had to buy dresses without even trying them on first. I'm typically a size 14/16 and was comfortable buying a 16. The stylist who looked very young and new ordered me a 20 and it was extremely big on me. I had to spend $$$ for alterations that i didn't intend on doing. read more

Could not have asked for a better experience than the one Sandy, Isabel & the lovely Bella team delivered for my bridesmaids and I! I came to Bella Bridesmaids after having a less-than-stellar experience with another shop, so I guess you could say I was a little jaded by the time I arrived at their doorstep. Everyone at Bella went above & beyond to make sure we had a great experience -- from making the appointment easy to set up to quick email responses to their vast knowledge of the gowns & designers' timelines. We were all so impressed! What really took it beyond for me is that one of my bridesmaids is plus-size and needed to come back for custom measurements to submit a final order; the staff handled this delicately & with complete care during our full appointment. I wasn't even aware of the situation until after the fact, and I think they made my 'maid feel completely at ease, which I so appreciate! I live out of state, but these ladies made the process feel like I didn't. They even sent a second photo of all the mismatched dresses together when I had a minor bride freakout and was second-guessing our selections. Well worth your time and money. AMAZING customer service that is even more impressive than most bc it started months before I'd even ordered dresses. Just two bridesmaids, my teenage daughters, and then we endured a personal tragedy that put wedding planning way on the back burner. Bella Bridesmaids was incredible. They kept in touch, let me know when there was a special and even when a new style in a color we liked came out. Mind you, we hadn't decided on anything and hadn't ordered ordered our measly two dresses. I am seriously blown away with how great the staff is here. It's not like I came in with 10 bridesmaids. First off, the staff is incredible! All my bridesmaids work wild hours so they opened up the store for us all during a time when they were originally closed. How awesome!! This is the only place I wanted to get their dresses from, so everything worked out wonderfully. They helped my girls one on one and were so so kind. I also love how you don't have to pay up front. Paying online makes life so easy. The only reason for the 3 stars is because they wouldn't let my bridesmaid try her dress on today when we went to pick it up. I was told "Sorry, were triple booked and don't have a room open." No one was in the dressing rooms, and there were maybe 4 people in the store looking at dresses. It takes maybe 2 minutes to try a dress on. It's not our fault you triple booked yourselves. When someone pays almost 300 dollars for a dress it would be nice to make sure everything looks right with it. Hoping this doesn't happen with my other girls. I was leery to come here based on the reviews, but I'm glad I came anyway. I had an appointment with the owner, and she was very helpful in pointing out styles that fit the look I was going for. She knew the designers and colors inside and out. We were able to try things on and she was very patient while we made decisions! They carry a good range of designers and styles, but most of the dresses we looked at were over $200, so that is a downside if you're on a budget. read more

As a new bride, I am finding most bridal shops not only encourage but expect an appointment. Which I am fine with, but still expect a warmer welcome than I received when I walked into this shop on a Thursday afternoon. I was not greeted with a smile, or a welcome, or even thirty seconds to ask me if I wanted to make an appointment. Instead the women made it clear she was in an appointment and that she couldn't even speak to me without one. Again, I understand and appointment only is written on their yelp page, but I walked in on a Weekday just to get a feeling of what they are about bc I don't like doing everything sight unseen and with that greeting, there is no way I'll consider returning. read more

I had the best experience as Bella Bridesmaids! Lauren S. was amazing to work with and so incredibly helpful. I went in not knowing a color or style. Lauren helped me decide and I was able to make decisions! I told her I didn't want my bridesmaids to pay more than $200 and she never showed us a dress a dollar over. The store was super clean and covid free. We didn't order our dresses as I still have two other bridesmaids to figure out what dress they will wear but we will absolutely be buying from Bella! I had a great experience last summer choosing bridesmaids gowns with my sisters. I wanted a specific designer (Lula Kate) for my bridesmaids gowns, and this was the only place in Ohio that had them. My sisters and I have different tastes, so my only issue was that I would have loved more time to look at options. Even though we had narrowed it down pretty quickly, I felt like we had to make a pretty quick decision. That being said, the sales member did work with all of our different views to get us to a dress that we all liked. She also helped me set up an account, so I could see when dresses had been ordered and reach out to bridesmaids that had not ordered yet. Because the dress I chose was pretty expensive, I wanted to pay a portion of my bridesmaids' gowns. I was able to pay this portion, and Bella Bridesmaids was able to make it look like the dress cost less than it actually did when my bridesmaids purchased their dresses. In all, it was a really easy experience with great service by the staff. read more

Go elsewhere! At these prices, I was shocked by the TERRIBLE and RUDE customer service. Most of my bridesmaids made separate appointments to find their dresses, and three of them told me independently of one another that they also had terrible experiences. (The space is so uncomfortably small and cramped, I can't imagine trying to go as a whole party!!) At my appointment with my maid of honor, they were late getting to us and didn't even acknowledge us when we came through the door -- then tried to rush us through without try ons so they could catch up to their next appointment, acting as if it were our fault they were behind. They were unhelpful and disinterested throughout the entire appointment. My other BMs reported being rushed through their scheduled appointments, too. And one was even told she couldn't order in store, that she would have to order online, to get her out the door faster -- which was not true as the rest of us had ordered in store. The sales associates ranged from unhelpful/impatient to downright rude. You work in an industry where "the experience" is everything -- and this experience was far from pleasant, let alone special. They also did not communicate the right instructions I had indicated for my dresses -- one BM ordered a dress without straps when I had specified straps-only dresses. And they mixed up email communications to me regarding ordering progress. Lastly, the associates recommended to several of my BMs that they pay for extra length on their dresses or they'd be too short. In all cases, the extra length was ridiculously long and deemed unneeded by the alterations specialists we went to, who couldn't believe all of the extra fabric we were told we needed. What a waste! The only good thing I can say about this place is that the dresses came in on time. But there are other stores, online and brick-and-mortar, that carry these same brands -- so skip this stop. read more

Disappointing. They were rude and rushed me my whole entire appointment, even when I just came in to try on my dress that I already payed for because delivery to my home was an extra charge. The second I walked out to look in the mirror she asked me to sign my receipt and dismissed me. I asked her to take a picture to send to the bride and she rushed and took a picture of my waist up and walked away. I was not welcomed in there to try on my $300+ dress to make sure it fit. Our bridal party all ordered dresses from here but in hind site should have went somewhere else that was as excited as we were. They rushed every single one of us at different appointments which is completely unprofessional considering we bought many dresses from them. I called to give them a heads up that I was coming to pick up my dress that day 3 hours before they closed (which I didn't have to do). Only to have them give me an attitude on the phone that they have many appointments and I would have to be "quick" trying on my dress that I already purchased. Then they proceeded to try and get me to come in on their time when I didn't have to call them in the first place. I was just calling to help them out and let them know I was picking it up. They didn't care about the bridal party or our time, just making sure they got a sale. Definitely would not recommend, they turned an experience for the bride and party that is supposed to be fun and exciting, to stressful and not something to remember. read more

Really disappointed in this place. I was 7 mos pregnant at the time of the wedding and they practically insisted I order a maternity style dress even though I did not like the style. I tried on several dresses with a fake maternity belly and was able to fit into some of them. If I ordered a non maternity dress they wanted me to order the largest size Bill Levkoff makes. It was humiliating. So I went with a maternity style dress. They also insisted I go 2 sizes up in the mat dress. I refused and the dress still ended up being about 3 sizes to big. Several other girls in the wedding party had the same problem. The staff is rude, and the hours are inconvenient. The prices are marked up compared to other bridal shops in the area, who carry the same brands. Steer clear of this place. read more

My friend is in a few weddings and the bride requesting only a certain designer for her bridesmaids. Bella bridesmaids carries this designer. The girls were not welcoming at all we felt like we were intruding on their day. We did make an appointment for this and I don't think the girl did anything but stand next to the dressing room the whole time. There was one dress in my friends size. ONE. She felt so discouraged after leaving there being told If she wanted to order the dress she liked in her size she could online. Why would anyone want to buy a dress that she had no idea how she looked in it. The girls are snobby and rude and not empathetic at all towards clients. I do not recommend this place for any business. So disappointed in how people treat other people. read more

I had a wonderful experience at the Cleveland Bella Bridesmaid! The women we worked with were very nice and patient. As the bride, I asked a million questions, studied many color options and styles, and my maid of honor tried on a ton of dresses. They were always kind and patient. And then later when my junior bridesmaids went in to try on other styles and colors, they went above and beyond to get in certain styles of dresses for them to try and to see what was available. The Cleveland showroom is small, so going with a large bridal party might be a little cramped, but the dresses are beautiful!!! The prices can be high, so you just have to know where to look for your price range! read more

I really loved this place. The variety of dresses, color combinations, and the locations across the country made this a great choice for my bridesmaids. I have since recommended it to three other brides--all of whom have been really happy with their experience! The staff was fantastic, super helpful, and really stepped it up when we had an emergency (had to get a backup dress the day before the wedding for a maid that left hers at home accidentally!). We LOVED working with Bella's Bridesmaids! We had shopped around and we were so relieved once we found this store! All the other stores we went to seemed to rush us to find dresses but they really worked with us at Bella's and helped us to find the right colors and designers! We worked with Lori and Isabel and loved working with both of them! Some of my bridesmaids live in other states and, unfortunately, their experiences did not always live up to ours at the Cleveland location... but everyone at the Cleveland store worked to make sure they were taken care of after those issues. Bella's was a little pricier than Davids Bridal but it was worth it based on the quality and experience. Highly recommend Bellas! read more

You don't come across many businesses that truly care about their customers these days! I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of customer service I received at Bella Bridesmaid. Each and every person at the store, Sandy, Isabelle, Lori, Meredith... took extra time and care to ensure everything was perfect for me and my bridesmaids! They're huge selection made selecting my bridesmaid dresses very easy. And with bridesmaid all over the country, they made it very convenient for everyone to place their order. The dresses came in early and they're absolutely perfect!!! What speaks greater volume, I had ordered my reception dress in ivory back in April. When it came in in July I picked it up and tried it on at home. I quickly noticed that it wasn't made correctly as you were able to see the padding through the bodice. I called the store to calmly explain the issue and asked if I could come in to try it on for them later that afternoon. They accommodated me without hesitation. As soon as I got to the store, Isabelle said that she had already spoken with the designer to come up with a plan to fix the issue. After sending some photos back to the designer, their production team decided to make a whole new dress for me and promised to have it sent within 3 weeks. Although the designer wasn't able to correct the issue, even after making the new dress, Bella Bridesmaids communicated with me through the whole process, apologized countless times (even though it wasn't their fault at all!), and refunded me for the dress. The amount of time and effort they put into trying to make things right for me was greatly appreciated and so comforting... I am so grateful for that! I wish I could shop at Bella Bridesmaids all the time just based on the level of customer service I received! Can't wait to share photos of my bridesmaids after my big day! read more

I came to Bella Bridesmaid based on a trusted recommendation -- and I was not disappointed! I live in NYC but my bridesmaids are scattered across Cleveland, England and NYC. The process could not have been made simpler by Sandy and her team. My ladies in NYC tried on the dress and picked their size at Bella's NY showroom and the Cleveland girls went to Rocky River. Then, we ordered in one easy process through the Rocky River store and my girls could either pick up or have their dresses shipped. Bella definitely has the best selection of fresh, modern gowns. I chose three different colors and two styles of Joanna August dresses for my bridal party. That's a lot of info that could easily have complicated things - but Bella got every detail perfect and my girls LOVE their dresses. If it wasn't for this store I would have had to order the dress online without ever trying it on, no refunds possible. The store itself is intimate and chic. It's common practice to have you order a size or two up for tailoring, most of these dresses can not be taken in. I was very disappointed in the lack of customer service at Bella Cleveland. I am a bride planning my wedding from Chicago, and my sister lives in Columbus. I found the BM dresses I love at the Bella in Chicago (which was a GREAT experience, and I would give them 5 stars). My sister needed to try on the dresses to figure out what she wanted to order, but they would only give her a "courtesy" appointment during the week, not on a weekend. She planned to take a half day off work just to drive the 2 hours to make the appointment, but when she called back to confirm, the associates never wrote her down and they were all booked up. Bella holds beautiful BM dress lines, but if you have bridesmaids in different locations, I would not recommend ordering through them based on their lack of customer service and willingness to work with out of town bridesmaids. read more

I went to Bella Bridesmaids for a bridesmaid dress. Prior to ordering the dress, they took my measurements, and recommended I order it extra long. Not only is the dress far too long, but the bust is way too small, and I have to have a corset made just to close the back. When I went for alterations, the tailor questioned why they wouldn't have ordered the dress to the biggest part of my body. After alterations, I am paying nearly double what the dress originally cost. My sister is also in a wedding, and ordered a dress from the same designer (Bill Levkoff) through Radiant Bride. They took her measurements there, and she does not have to have any alterations made at all. I am seriously disappointed in both the the cost and inconvenience that this has caused. Bella Bridesmaids will not honor any refunds or exchanges, even though the dress was ordered per their measurements, and recommendation of ordering extra long. Bridesmaid dresses are not inexpensive, and to avoid extra costs, I advise looking elsewhere. read more

Our experience was just awful!! I would NEVER use this store. We were given absolutely no guidance in dresses in the required color that would look good on the bridesmaids figures. I felt as is we were an inconvenience to them for coming. We scheduled an hour long appointment because there were 2 girls and were left on our own while the sales associate looked online on the computer for dresses. As far as knowing the stock, she did not. I called the store to find out who helped us. When Shannon called back she said that she was the one who helped us. My advice to those reading this, if you are not happy with the woman helping you ask for someone else! When the girls were measured they were measured over their clothes. Of course taking a measurement over jeans would change the size needed. Be very careful who you get to help you. We will not be back. read more

On top of the great selections they were very kind and understanding- one of my bridesmaids found out after ordering and purchasing her dress that she would no longer be able to come to my wedding due to her Navy deployment. We recently went to Bella Bridesmaids to find dresses for my sister's wedding. As someone who has worked in the hospitality field and used to plan weddings, I have to say I was extremely impressed. We met both Sandy, the owner, and Isabel who were both so professional, knowledgeable and so fun to work with. It made an already exciting experience even better. The selection of dresses was not typical..... they are trendy, elegant and classy. They were able to make suggestions and help us make my sister the bride, super happy but also us, get something that we can totally wear again. The dresses at this store are extremely over priced, especially for a dress you wear for one night. My dress came in extremely late and did not fit well at all. I was measured in March and didn't get the dress until middle of July. The wedding was in August so I barely had time to find a tailor and get the dress altered. The dress had to be taken in so much and the tailoring cost me $150. When I called the store to tell them I was unsatisfied with the way they measured me and asked them if they could reimburse me for the tailoring they said that there was nothing they could do. I'm getting married next summer and will definitely not be shopping here for my Bridesmaid dresses. read more

Had to purchase bridesmaid dress here, staff is extremely unfriendly, almost to the point of seeming mean. Dress seemed expensive for a relatively plain dress. It did come in on time. When I came in to get measured, they acted like I was putting them out being there, then told me that I was the only bridesmaid who didn't order their dress yet.....this was a flat out lie! Obviously I immediately ordered it after that comment, but I wanted to think about the size because they suggested a size 2 sizes larger than what I wanted to order based on my measurements and knowing how dresses fit me. I met them in the middle and ordered 1 size larger. The girl helping me said, well if it's too tight and it doesn't fit that's on you. The dress came in and it was huge on me. Also they don't offer any tailoring so you have to go elsewhere for that. I have been a bridesmaid 8 times and I rarely ever need alterations. Not impressed. read more
