I had a dress altered here and came back for my wedding dress. $40 for an initial appt. Tht is applied to your gown but i didn't find one. Made another appt as the appt has a 90 minutes time slot. I had to pay for another appt and the first appt fee is just gone. Sad how people nickel and dime weddings. Then if I wanted time to think - pay another $20 to come back for a third appt to agree to buy the dress. The. The sales lady, Linda, was amazing from start to finish. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses, so she made sure to reassure me that I could always say I didn't like something. She aimed to help me find my style and didn't mind when I said "I don't like this lace, but I like that lace" or "I just don't like it. I don't know why". We tried on 10 dresses total in my appointed time, all coming together quickly and efficiently. When I liked some elements and not others, she reassured me that we could custom make a dress if I wanted and quoted rough numbers so I had a better idea of what it would be like. I bought a bridesmaid dress online and it needed some serious reworking in the bust area. It was easy to get an appointment scheduled with Kim. I called and left a message- she got back to me on the same day. When I came in Kim took her time looking at my dress and analyzing what would need to be done. She explained everything very clearly. Took my daughters prom dress to be altered. Very easy booking system. The staff was very knowledgeable and did wonders with her dress and add on skirt. The dress looked like it fit like a glove. I had a dress that needed to add tulle to the neckline and raise the neckline, and reinforce the hooks. I called and Kim was able to get me in the very same day to do the fitting. Her quoted time was between 3-6 weeks and she got it back to me in 3 weeks knowing I was on a time crunch! The alteration work was PERFECT! I felt secure and comfortable in the dress. I bought my wedding dress out of town and needed to find someone to do the alterations. I noticed this shop in my neighborhood so decided to stop by. Kim, the owner, was so helpful and did a wonderful job on my alterations and bustle for my dress! I was able to buy my veil from her store, and she was kind enough to store my dress with the train let out up until my wedding so that it wouldn't get wrinkled in the garment bag. She also answered a few of my questions regarding shoes of different heel heights. I brought my dress in on a Tuesday evening and it was done on Thursday evening the same week.
