What can I say? Been coming here for years. Never had a bad meal here, LOVE their Italian stromboli. Eat half, save the other for lunch the next day. Suzi loves their cheesesteaks and cheese fries. Good pizza too, our daughter likes to get chicken here, she got potato wedges last time we went because she wasn't very hungry. We like to stop in and sit and eat, (they have a very nice dining area with outdoor seating available) although much of their business is takeout and delivery. I used to love the pizza here, but it's very inconsistent. I don't know if the oven isn't hot enough or what, but I'm tired of getting soggy pizzas with no crispness to the crust. It ends up being a soggy, wet mess. This happens often with the party size pizza. Would be great if they could learn how to make a pizza with firm crust. A pizza place has to be able to produce a good plain pie, and Bella Cucina succeeds in that. We have been pretty loyal to another shop in the area but that might be changing. First, the crust is excellent. Crisp, thin, and little well done. Crust is about 60% of the equation and they hit it out. The cheese is good, not sure if I detected a blend but heavily mozzarella. The sauce is ok. Honestly, it tastes a little massed produced to me thus the 4 instead of 5 stars. A little too much oregano. Overall, great pie. Not 5 stars but after all this is Perkiomenville. This place is my go to! They always accommodate my Celiac Disease (gluten free), their salads are a full two meals, and they are (hopefully) opening up a bar pretty soon. I had the opportunity to move back to the area recently and thought I would stop by Bella Cucina. I ordered a Personal Stromboli of the cheesesteak variety. I want to say that it was fantastic! It took me back to an Italian place in Pottstown that are used to eat at when I was just growing up. The portion was a good size and it was stuffed with deliciousness. Tried this restaurant out for the first time tonight. I ordered a mushroom hamburger. The hamburger was a frozen patty - you know the kind cut out in a flower pattern that they sell at supermarkets for $5 for a box of 20, with a few sauteed mushrooms sitting on a huge kaiser roll. No lettuce, no tomato, no onion, but it did come with 3 pickle chips. Wow! Can you say dry and tasteless? A quarter pounder from McD's tastes 10 times better than this burger did. My wife got a veggie grinder - basically grilled veggies in a hoagie roll. For the price paid ($7.75), it was the smallest hot sandwich we've seen in a long time. The roll was barely 10 inches and had very few grilled veggies filling it out. We also got an order of french fries and sodas. The fries were the highlight of the meal. What does that tell you? The food was mediocre at best, especially for the price. The most interesting part of our dining experience came just moments before we got our food. One of the cooks came to the service window/food pass that joins the dining area to the kitchen. I watched as he proceeded to lean through the window from the kitchen, grab the plastic bag full of trash from the bin on the dining area side and lift it through the food pass....dragging it along the counter along the way. We should have jumped up and left right then. I'm not sure why we didn't since this was the same counter that just a few minutes later our waitress would set our food on. Nice! Nothing says sanitary like having a full bag of trash dragged across the food counter. Like I said to my wife, "if they'll do that right in front of you.....what's going on in the back where you can't see!?!" The restaurant itself is small, basically a pizzeria with a small dining area that can seat around 25 people. The dining area is pleasant looking enough and our server was very nice. They do have fancier entrees on the menu in addition to the typical cheese steaks and hoagies. One star may seem extreme but in my book sanitation trumps all and dragging a bag full of trash across a food service counter eliminates any redeeming qualities a restaurant may have. Take the food quality and the obvious disregard for sanitary conditions and you've got a restaurant you'll want to avoid. Gross! read more

This place is great! We always get the same order and it's always delicious. The staff is friendly, especially the young man at the counter! During covid the restaurant has had very safe guidelines to follow which we appreciated when picking up. read more

I don't know why there are negative reviews here. We get take out from here once a week and never had any issues. We usually get the margarita pie, which is our favorite from here. I have also had the chicken cheesesteak special, which was yummy. Staff is polite and speedy service. read more

This place is less than 2 minutes from me and I haven't gone back after 3 visits that got progressively worse. First visit: ordered pizza for pick-up. Wait was a little longer than they stated on the phone but no biggie. Pizza was the definition of mediocre. Not bad enough to mention to them and not good enough to want to consume more of it. Second visit: my wife and I ate in the dining area.Both entrees were just okay and expensive for what it was. Nothing to complain about or compliment. Service was okay. Dining area was your average pizza place. Third visit: we had family over and had just received a coupon for a couple pizzas, spaghetti and meatball entrees, garlic knots, and soda so we gave them a shot. We also added a couple apps to the order. I went to pick up and ended up waiting an additonal 30 minutes for them to finish cooking the food. When I got home and unpacked the food, we discovered they forgot several items. Ugh! I called and they wouldn't deliver the forgotten items but wanted me to pick them up. Seriously? I only went because I had hungry/grumpy family members glaring at me. Needless to say, that was last time we have gone there and have no plans to return. In fact we don't even consider it when we decide where to eat. It's only a shame because they're so close. read more

Since taking new ownership, I have experienced on 3 separate occasions that Bella Cucina was not open during posted business hours. Most recently was yesterday. I called at 7:47pm for a pickup order. The call went to voice mail which stated they were open until 9pm and their lines were busy to call back. I called a second time with the same result, then drove to the restaurant only to find it was completely dark and closed. I have been a loyal customer to Bella Cucina for over 4years (since I moved to this area). But, 3 strikes and you're out! Their food is average and I can get pizza and cheese steaks from many other places in the area that are just as good, that also deliver. I'd rather patronize a business that is reliable. And unfortunately, Bella Cucina is anything but reliable. read more

This is the worst pizza I have ever had. Soggy, salty, absolutely gross. I tried another time to order entrees for pickup. They messed up the order by forgetting a dish (we ordered 3 and only got 2). My wife and I decided to order in Friday night and watch a movie, just looking to unwind from the work week. We order from Bella Cucina, a tuna hoagie, a burger and fries. Upon our meal arriving at the house, we noticed we did not have fries.We called the pizzeria and we we're told to wait "One minute please", for approximately six minutes. This was extremely aggravating, but I also am a professional and understand it is a Friday night and they are potentially busy. When I finally spoke with an employee, we were told we were not charged for fries, and instead they began to rattling off our order; as if the food wasn't staring at me, accommodated by nothing. The fact we hadn't paid was all well and good, but the point was I wanted fries....my wife is pregnant and if she wants fries, I'm damn sure getting them. Instead of being told they were sorry and would immediately send my fries out, I was greeted with an attitude and told, "I guess we can send some fries, but we're gonna have to charge you"....ummm yea. Let's just say between the attitude I was given and the expensive (20 dollars for two sandwiches WITHOUT fries) this average pizza joint will not be getting my business any longer. Excellent crisp pizza crust. Veal Parm dinner was amazing! Usually large portions cover up inferior fare but this dish is made with real veal cutlet, not the formed patty stuff.Steak sandwich loaded with good quality steak meat and homemade flavorful sauce. Service warm, friendly, and timely. Nice dining room, however a little stark causing an echo. Overall a Godsend considering the abundance of sub par pizzeria fare in the area. read more

Delivery is fast food is good you get alot pizza is ok not great but the steak sandwiches are full of meat.
