I was desperately for interior design to help me with pick the right color and organized the empty space for my massage studio. I emailed about 10 of interior design in SD. 3-4 of them got back to me so we started to talk. Diane was out standing one when I first find out about pricing and the process. She was helpful kind and negotiable lol. My husband was going to pick orange and blue to be our main color since we have blue gray carpet. When Diane was here. She suggested the Coe that we never know it was existed. It blowed our mine away when it finish. For 2 hrs of her work she covered it all. Diane is worth her weight in gold. I'm a do-it-yourself'r through and through, and I thought I was doing great until I hit a wall in designing my condo's open floor plan. I never hired a designer before, so I didn't quite know what to expect, but I did know that I needed help before spending any more of my precious time and energy in my place. So responsive and quick, Diane actually answered her phone when I called and took the time talking me through my issue. When she arrived at my condo, Diane quickly assessed my issue and found a couple of great color options that would help unify all my spaces which had a very different feel and tone. After solving my major dilemma, she went through and provided helpful advice on the other projects around my condo. Surprisingly, she took better notes in her head than I did on my notepad, because I quickly received a detailed account of our meeting and helpful suggestions we didn't even discuss. We have never used a designer before and were clueless on the process! After searching on line we found Diane Swenson of Bella Designs. We called for a phone consultation and got a lot of questions answered. We were both impressed with the way Diane had a collaborative approach, she really listened to what we thought we wanted and offered up advice and suggestions. The next step Diane came to our home to get a look at the master bathroom to be remodeled and to also see some of the other design choices we had throughout our house. Diane was great, she really understood what we were looking for and had great suggestions throughout the process. We trust Diane and her superb judgment, while listening to our wants and needs. I highly recommend Diane from Bella Designs. She assisted me in selecting interior paint colors for the entire house that flowed with my existing drapes and decorations. Instead of purchasing new living room furniture, she suggested using the same furniture, but recovering and rebuilding the frame a bit to be more modern. The sofa and love seat turned out amazing.
