After the service, the stylist herself pointed out that my roots had come out much darker than expected. I agreed and told her I had noticed the same thing. She then explained that she had changed part of the formula because she felt the 30-volume developer my former colorist recommended was too high and reduced it to 25. She acknowledged that this was her mistake and that she should have followed the formula I provided. The service was originally $100, and she reduced it to $80 because of the mistake. She also offered for me to return in two weeks so she could wash my hair to help the color fade, but I declined because I no longer felt comfortable having her work on my hair. I appreciated that she recognized the issue and took some responsibility, but I was still disappointed because I specifically provided the formula that had been working for me. I would have preferred that any changes to that formula be discussed with me beforehand rather than made without my knowledge.

Not bad at all with prices, I'm talking less then $15 for men's haircuts and of course having modern training here helps. The place is not on the top of the list as far as circuses, but it has its points. Check out the photos. I like the fact that it is simple and understated and has a look of old school salon in a way. With its Grey and white sponged painted walls, it does make you think of an old salon. Its really not bad though. A bit on the small side with just 3 stations, but it didn't seem crowded when I went, and I am sure although it does, I called first and asked my friend if by chance she had an opening to fit me in her schedule. She did and of course I was happy. Parking is abundant since you are across the street from the racetrack, and it really doesn't get used most of the time so of course you have your selection of parking spots. I was happy that right in front there it was, the perfect spot. Also though if in the slim chance that there is no parking (very slim) you can also park going through the alley in the side of the building, ample space for parking also. I am good coming here, since the place is conveniently on target with my way home.
