These people are really really unprofessional. I went to this location and picked out several stones that they claimed were in stock. They stated they would give me a price in a day or two, and could do the job with a week and a half. I called back several times over the next several days, and they kept saying they were going to get back to me. They never did. After waiting over a week, I called just now, and the guy told me they weren't going to give have time to do job. And when I said can I least get the pricing so I can decide, he said we can't do the job until November or December, and they're not interested in doing the job. Then when I expressed my dissatisfaction and that they were being unprofessional, the owner proceeded to have a full blown argument with me over the phone. Please beware! The installer Bill, ( I believe an owner or manager) was very rude and sloppy. He was in a hurry and left my house filthy. He didn't seal the countertop properly, and there were silicone smudges on the granite in several places. Totally unacceptable. Do yourself a favor - shop around ! read more

The showroom salesperson was knowledgeable and didn't rush us- he spent a good amount of time telling us about our options and showing us different types of granite for an outdoor kitchen countertop. He also explained the purchase and installation process from start to finish. Didn't feel any pressure from him to buy. After seeking out another estimate, we decided to go with Bella Italia, mostly based on better price. They came right away to measure, and within a week they were back to install. I had my countertops fabricated and installed by them recently and I it came out nicely. Unfortunately I had a very minor issue that I needed to be addressed with a seam. I called over 5 times to get it rectified with no help from them at all so I just gave up. So not worth the frustration. Such a shame I can't recommend them to neighbors and friends because initially I was pleased, but no customer service at all. Ironic because I went with them because they were local and wanted to support local businesses. Mistake. What if it was a bigger issue? Choose another fabricator. read more

I was looking for the whitest quartz I could find and found it here. I was in the middle of a multi stage kitchen project which required the perimeter countertop and island to be demolished and replaced at different times. Giuseppe and his crew handled it perfectly and installed a great looking product. The island piece alone was 51" x 96" and a struggle to bring up 3 flights of stairs - but they did it. Do not waste your time here!! I would never shop here again!! On July 21, I called their office and was sent to voice mail. I did not leave a message. The following week, Giuseppe called me about a missed call. Initially he was courteous. I tried to call back several times to schedule an appointment to come in and select a countertop, only to be forwarded to voice mail each time. Therefore, I walked into their office onWednesday ~4:30 pm. I waited 30 minutes until I was serviced. Giuseppe was wrapping up it with a customer. We went outside, I picked a quartz slab. All of which took us 3 minutes. He took a cash deposit. Since then, I've been calling for an appointment to measure countertop space. I left several messages for Giuseppe, but no call back. Next, I called from my private landline number and he picked up the phone. I had a contractor working on my kitchen renovation and needed an appointment to measure my space. Giuseppe said they do not install the counter top, which means what?They do not remove your stovetop or sink to place the finished countertop. So, then who does that? Luckily I have a contractor working here, of course, he'd charge me additionally for his time. So last week, I called with my private landline (only time they answer the phone). A young girl picked up and I asked to schedule an appointment to measure the space, while my contractor was here to coordinate everything properly. She wanted someone to call me back. At this time, that was unacceptable since no one returns calls there. Giuseppe came to the phone and said someone will be there tomorrow, Thursday. No show on Thursday. No courtesy call at all. On Friday late afternoon, I called to complain about lack of service for my order. He put Alberto on the phone, who scheduled Saturday @ 7:00 am! He came this morning. He was rude, uncooperative, not interested to service my property in Bayside, Queens (I live in Long Beach). He demanded more money and would not write up a contract. I said that's not how it works. I've been chasing Bella Italia Granite for a couple of weeks. I asked Alberto, "Are you the Owner"? He said "yes". I requested a contract clearly outlining all the details of the terms of the agreement i.e. product, measurements and delivery date. He would not, so I did not give additional money. Upon a written contract, then I will visit his office and sign the document with additional money. I called a couple of hours later, and Alberto's brother picked up and said that they are not interested. The reason that I called was to inform them that I was canceling my order. I was not impressed with the lack of responsiveness to my calls and discourteous customer service from everyone...receptionist to the Owner. They've wasted my time with this pending project! I'm a paying customer, who expects to be treated respectfully. Bella Italia Granite lacks integrity and service excellence. I will never shop here again! And neither should you!! read more

Went into this shop to possibly order a marble stand for a dining room. Customer service was excellent on greeting and answering all my questions to determine the right color, size and detail of the piece i was looking to get. They have many selections from you to choose from in color and material, and actual examples so you know exactly what youre buying. Ordered the stand on a Monday, fabricated and custom made and so that took about a week. Delivery went excellent and i was thoroughly impressed at how beautiful this piece came out. Owner personally delivered the piece to exact location in dining room as pieces are heavy. We unfortunately used Bella Italia for our outdoor island stone counter top, I would not recommend them. Our contractor recommended them, that's why we went with them. They were difficult to get in touch with, took a long time, did not do what was agreed upon in the contract and were overpriced. When you call their office they only answer sometimes and don't return calls in a timely manner. When you call the main guy's cell phone, he does not answer and you can't even leave a message. We were told we could get a sample to show 2 types of sealer and it seemed to take a lot of time to get this and they only put 1 type on the sample which looked like it was just put on 20 minutes before we arrived to pick it up They told us that they make the cuts at the shop, however when they arrived for the installation, this was not the case. We asked for the sharp edges to be smoothed and they were only fired, then when they did the cuts onsite there were sharp edges. They ground them down but were difficult to deal with. When it was finished it was poor workmanship. It seems like they just tell you what you want to hear and then do whatever they want to do and cut corners. read more

We just had Bella replace our kitchen countertop and put in our backsplash. First of all they had an amazing selection of granite. We came back 4 or 5 times until we selected the granite we both liked. Giuseppe was so patient and showed us around each time. Once we picked the granite, we got an excellent price from them. The WORST workmanship and customer service ever!!! They installed broken pieces on my countertops and tried to hide it by patching it up. Once confronted owner took no responsibility - tried to convince us that those were " veins " on the marble - where they were clearly cracks! And worst of all he basically told us to go "f" ourselves and would not try to rectify the situation. In addition the measurements they took were WRONG, so the adjacent side of one of my countertops is few inches shorter than the rest! Do NOT use them!! You will regret it! read more
