The restaurant itself is very nice inside, and the staff are very professional and friendly. We weren't super impressed with the food through. Especially for the price. While the quality of the food seemed very good, it just didnt taste great. I was especially disappointed in the cheese wheel pasta. I liked the taste of the cheese alone, but their combination with the Alfredo and parmesan just wasnt good. Having said that, I've never had thay before so maybe it's supposed to taste that way. Regardless, I thought it was pretty over priced. read more

I'm not sure how to frame this... I love Lasagna, we were in the area and chose this restaurant sight unseen. The ambiance was really nice, service was attentive, but the lasagna was loaded with spices, really too much for me personally. I brought home most of it and my husband finished it up later. Nice relaxing ambiance. Amazing drinks, appetizers! We were a large party that came originally for drinks and desserts. We decided to do apps too and thankful for it. Truffle fries were excellent light on the truffle and crunchy texture. The calamari was amazing with a little bit of spice and some fried spicy pickles/peppers tossed in. Focaccia bread service had pesto roasted garlic and a small slice of goat cheese. My only complaint was the size of the goat cheese. Then we had the fettuccini cheese bowl flambé and it was so rich and delicious. We did end up with the tiramisu and apple crostini. Everyone loved them. I would strongly recommend the restaurant even though I have yet to eat dinner here. read more

I recently went to Bella's for a late lunch. I found the menu to be a bit limited and the service was slow for a weekday. The food was very average, nothing special for the price. No bread is even brought to the table. Drinks are overpriced. There are plenty of other restaurants that offer lower priced drinks at that time of the day with Happy Hour prices. I just felt that at the very least have a lunch special. Maybe it was just an off day, but I would call it average to below. read more

It was a wonderful night out for dinner for my post birthday dinner with my wife. The ambience of room set the peaceful tone for the night. Our server was very pleasant & helpful offering suggestions when we asked since this was our first visit . Even offered suggestions for a glass of wine. We had started with the bread platter with garlic , pesto and goat cheese. Our plates arrived just shortly after enjoying this wonderfully warm bread. My favorite restaurant (generally)... Unfortunately they changed my favorite dish. The pomodoro pasta noodles, and meatball recipe (now very very dry) has changed. I was highly disappointed. The variety of items on the menu are perfect when it comes to being indecisive. From their burgers or beet salad with salmon (my favorites) or their lasagna (my dad's favorite), there's something for everyone. Any of their pastas can be substituted with gluten free penne pasta, and all of the sandwiches can be substituted with gluten free bread-- something that I'm happy to know for my gluten-sensitive friends! The service is top tier every time I visit. I feel like every server/bartender I've had at Bella truly knows the ins and outs of a perfect dining experience. The interior is calm and inviting with warm lighting and high ceilings, and don't forget their stunning light fixtures. Took my breath away seeing them for the first time! Let me just say that I am still happy and full two days after having dinner at Bella! Everything we tasted was just phenomenal. The freshness of each dish left me completely in awe. If you go to Bella I HIGHLY recommend the cheese wheel pasta. They require you to order two pasta plates but we were able to order two sides and split it with the table since we all wanted to try it. Not only was the flambé cheese wheel wildly entertaining to watch, it tasted like the most perfect adult Mac and cheese!! For the main course I had the wild mushroom pasta and it was so unique. I've only ever had noodles and peanuts in a pad Thai dish but let me just say it works very well with the mild cream sauce and savory vegetables! The orecchiette was also phenomenal. It was so fresh and the flavors were so balanced. For desert we tried the Apple crostata and the lemon cake. Both were next level! I will be dreaming of that lemon cake for the rest of my life. read more

Excellent brunch spot! My friends and I dined here last Sunday and had a wonderful time. This place takes reservations which is a plus as well! We each started off with a mimosa and they were tasty. We then ordered the crème brûlée French toast, biscuits and gravy, and the breakfast flatbread. Everything was delicious and we had plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and the overall atmosphere here is very relaxing. I would love to dine here again for brunch and dinner. I hope to return soon! read more

Bella was very good we had a reservation so had zero wait, the service was good the food was excellent, my husband got the ribeye special that night was cook pretty perfect , my husband said it was a tad under but nothing he would turn away. I had the wild mushroom rigatoni, so yummy. Also the small Cesar salad. Was a bit disappointed that the menu said it had anchovies but I didn't get any so not sure if it's anchovies paste in the dressing or if you have to ask for them. I felt everything could have used just a little more salt, but I like salt in my food not everyone does. read more

What a great place to celebrate an anniversary! We made lunch reservations and were greeted with a smile and a "Happy Anniversary" from the host who brought us to a beautiful and private circular booth. Our waitress Riley was the absolute best with a million dollar smile and she also wished us a Happy Anniversary. The food was exquisite and very reasonably priced. We had the Focassia Bread which in and of itself can fill you up. Our main courses were the toasted ravioli and the three cheese panini. When were done, Riley came back with a lit sparkler and a delicious Tiramisu which was a gift from Bella for our anniversary. My family ate here for the first time and I was seriously underwhelmed. The atmosphere is fancy with smooth jazz music playing on the speakers and the clientele was mostly older folks. The server was very friendly and attentive, so no complaints there. The biggest letdown was the food. Three of us ordered the cheese wheel and none of us were impressed. The sauce was watery because they didn't properly drain the pasta and it had a pretty strong alcohol taste (not in a good way). The meals weren't cheap and they don't include any bread or salad. The appetizers aren't cheap either ($12 for some bread is on example). Overall I felt the place is trying too hard to be a fancy restaurant, but totally falls short. read more

My wife and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary at Bella on June 12 and once again our experience was excellent. Thanks to management, servers and the kitchen staff for an outstanding dinner. The upstairs room worked extremely well for our group. Our waiter was professional, giving us the personal attention needed and kept everyone taken care of throughout the evening. Firstly, our server Crystal was very attentive. We didn't wait 10 seconds before our water glasses were refilled. She was pleasant & able to answer questions and make suggestions. Often the server makes the experience. Our meals were exceptional. We each had a House salad and then I had the short rib with polenta and mushrooms. My husband had chicken Parm, which honestly he orders often, & he said that it was delicious. For dessert we shared the chocolate Pot de Crème. The ambience is lively but hushed. We got our Saturday brunch to-go and it was delicious! My husband got the short rib hash and I got the lemon mascarpone pancakes.. both were perfect and very filling. We both ordered a side of bacon and they were really small and thin, only two pieces each, so that was disappointing compared to the stellar entrees. We recently visited Bella with my Dad. It took 5 minutes to be seated with no one in the restaurant. We were finally seated, but only had ONE menu. We were promised more menus. That never happen. We were ready to order. That never happened. The staff of five people seemed to be more interested in setting up tables for dinner than taking out order. I'm not sure who came up with the idea of a sort of sweet Caesar salad dressing, but it really wasn't what I was expecting. I mean, it wasn't poppyseed or honey mustard sweet but when you take a bit expecting nothing but mustard, garlic, egg yolk, salt, pepper. anchovies, lemon juice, parmesan cheese and olive oil and end up with something even remotely sweet it is a surprise. Perfect date night or special night out kind of place. Short menu, but it makes the high quality dishes less intimidating. You can definitely find something that you would enjoy. Presentation was fabulous. Portions, large. Drinks, strong. The staff are 5 star. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. I checked the high chairs, and they are very well kept. It is kid friendly. The dishes tasted great. The truffle fries will definitely be my new go to from now on. The arugula salad was very flavorful. That also may become a new staple. So glad I finally stepped in to try it. I would suggest making a reservation ahead of time for larger parties though. read more

Always amazing. Casey was our waitress and she could not have been better she made our whole night she was that great.

An overall "Okay" experience. While en route to Bella for Sunday brunch, we called to check in on a wait time. The woman who answered the phone promptly responded with "45 minutes". Imagine our confusion when we arrive less than 10 minutes later to find a room full of open tables (seriously 60% or more of the tables were unoccupied). To our pleasant surprise, we were seated immediately. On the seat of our booth, there were an array of various hairs- long, short, curly, straight, dark and light. We brushed them off and carried on, admiring the lighting and other finishes of the space. Our waiter promptly "greeted" us at our table. I say "greeted" due to the fact that he was completely dead-eyed and dead pan. At a certain point, as he was taking our order, it felt as though he was offended simply by our presence or by the options we selected. I can often find humor in service that leans on the pretentious side, but this vibe was completely off. On the bright side, the lemon mascarpone pancakes and short rib hash were both quality dishes. The service, while uncomfortable, continued to be prompt throughout our dining experience. I would consider dining at Bella again, perhaps for dinner, and perhaps after I've forgotten the details of our first visit. read more

Everything about this restaurant has been very good, including the wine. It's on the pricey side but to me it's worth it as it's hard to find a decent Italian restaurant in Maryville. We actually prefer the dinner menu verses the lunch menu. In my opinion, the food and service is better in the evening. Ambience is very nice! read more
