I am so glad we finally tried BBTT! It was a wonderful option for a special evening and the food, service, and experience didn't disappoint. The wine selection is extensive and the bourbon choices include some hard to find bottles! Expect to pay no less than $100 for two if you enjoy an appetizer and two entrees. Bistro By The Tracks is worth every penny!

Prior to being seated, my boyfriend and I were met with the loveliest jazz music being played live. The hostess was visibly pleased to seat us. She ensured everything was prepped and pristine while making us comfortable. The service was prompt and attentive during the entire meal. I chose the bouillabaisse with onions, garlic, and peppers; accompanied by the best bread ever. My boyfriend enjoyed his medium filet, which was juicy and tender. The overall ambiance was ravishing and the food left us speechless. The espresso cheesecake is worth mentioning as well. A MUST try!

About last nights dinner....fantastic dining experience!! Hubby and I had drinks at the bar, then met friends for our 7pm reservation. We were greeted by a lovely hostess who escorted our group to the perfect table for us. Shortly afterwards, we were greeted by our server, Sebastian, who was absolutely amazing. He welcomed us, took our drink order, explained the menu in great detail and suggested some of his favorites dishes. We chose several of his suggestions and were very pleased with them all, including the dessert ( ?? pie). I can't remember the exact name of it, but it's the only "pie" on the menu (just ask for the pie with the graham cracker crust). DO NOT pass up this dessert, it is sinfully delicious . Overall experience was A+. Enjoy!!

Does it get any better? Best restaurant in Knoxville by a mile. Very professional waiters. Show kitchen and it is super clean. Stemware is Reidel and it is awesome. BYOB means awesome time and more money for server. Had the wedge salad and it was phenomenal. Wife had the fish and it was amazing. I had the sous vide filet and it was out of this world. Super nice decorations and we loved this place. It fit in well with Napa/Sonoma. Great cocktails and the atmosphere could not be beat. Hop and cool and food was not a gimmick. Could not say enough about this place. Service made the deal complete. We will be back and bring lots of friends.

Food and service was good not stellar. I struggled to find dairy free dishes and the kitchen could only do so much. I expected a bit more flexibility in an upscale kitchen. The rest of the table liked their dishes so still a great dinner!

Arrived in town via flight after 730pm. Stayed at the Courtyard Marriott nearby so we walked down to the Bistro. We were promptly seated and our server greeted us shortly after. I hate I don't remember her name but she was spot-on with recommendations and made sure we had refills as needed. I had the crispy skin salmon with a side of new potatoes. That was some of the best salmon I've ever put in my mouth! The mixed greens that accompanied the meal were more of a garnish and not a side dish but they were good. The potatoes were good too and came in a little skillet. We really loved the bread they served prior to the meal. This is a nice spot for a romantic dinner or meal with friends.

Cocktails were well done and the wine pairings recommended astute. Nothing to complain about except some of the items were cold - there was one person serving the entire bar and restaurant and obviously had some timing issues. Also some attitude: after delivering cocktails to my wife and me he forgot her mom's - after I reminded him he said "oh I know" and then proceeded to serve four other patrons' order at the bar and then another two top's before even starting hers. It finally arrived after the cold mushrooms were delivered. I'm chalking this up to a short staffed situation and a specific individual, so if you live nearby or are traveling through looking for a nice spot for dinner or lunch I would definitely recommend. The environment is also very pleasant with a nice bar and dining room of high top tables.

But just about every thing to do with our dinner was low quality The Maitre d (or host mgr) has poor customer service skills. He is the wrong person to be in that position. Sometimes I would suggest to have him train at one of better dinner houses in Knoxville, but his attitude is such I'm not sure he would understand his deficiencies. Overall, he does not treat guests as if they are the lifeline for a restaurant. He made no effort to make us feel he was glad we came to The Kennedy and when we left he made no attempt to thank us or ask how our experience was. If he is not replaced the restaurant will steadily lose customers. The food quality was poor. The salmon on top of Brussel sprouts tasted as if someone in the kitchen poured molasses on top of the Brussel Spouts. Then after it was sent back with the request to re-do the dinner without the sweetener it came back (after a very long delay) with a huge plate of Brussel Sprouts that were completely dried out. It seemed like the people in the kitchen attempted to make up for the poor taste by giving a helping size 3 X as normal. The crab on noodles was a "C" at best. The crab was stringy and the noodles were very bland. If people at coming for drinks and appetizers it probably is a good choice but if someone wants a quality dinner experience I was told by 2 locals who come downtown a lot to eat at Lonesome Dove Brass Pearl JC Holdway (the best chef) Oliver Royale ( we ate here and the food quality and service were exceptional) Osteria Stella Emelia

Got invited to a drum circle in Gatrlinburg by my girlfriend's son…read more We went out that morning to see Cades Cover (big mistake - it was Memorial Day) and swung back around through Townsend (stopped at Mountain Man to have a craft brew on the way). Knowing we were going up to the arts district, I looked for a place to meet them before the circle and saw there was a Celtic Pub. Only that was the spot where the drum circle was. And, to my surprise, it is the same owner as the Fox & Parrot Tavern in Gatlinburg, one of my favorite English pubs (and currently closed do to a feud with the US government - hope that gets fixed). The place is definitely British country feeling. Very nice tap list, including both local brews and standard UK brews. Heavy wood feeling with a very nice deck outside, which includes some spots under cover (which was important as it rained on the circle and people had to duck in). There is nothing elegant about the place or the food. But that is its charm. The fish & chips were on point, esp. with the malt vinegar. Shepherd's Pie a bit salty for my tastes, but not to the salt lick level. Also came with chips. As for the drum circle, if you are reading this in June 2026, that is every Monday at 6-8 PM through the end of the month. I got some great drone footage of the circle, which I added to this review.

NOTES: -In rural TN, it should not surprise you, but be aware that they have Trump displays in the restaurant. -The restrooms are single stall and accessed from outdoor. They're indoor restrooms - just the door to access them is on the outside. (No porta potties) They're solidly clean - just make sure to pack clothing that works for the temperature outside because you might be dipping outside a few times. -Parking lot is small and gravel. Relatively easy to get in and out of though. -Amazing gin selection with staff that *clearly* knows their gins. -Adorable photos of the owners on slideshow of their trip to Europe on the wall. It's adorably and clearly a couple who was on a good vacation. We've had a good chunk of their menu at this point. Pretzels: Delicious beer chese AND delicious pretzels. Quite a bit of food with this too. Bread, Oil, & Vinegar: Wasn't super fond of this one. A ton of oil in a bowl made it hard to get the right oil-to-vinegar ratio. Chicken Pie: Deliciously breaded with super-tasty french fries too. Served piping hot, so it took a bit to be able to eat it without burning myself but a wait well-made. Reuben: Partner absolutely loved it and said the bread was the absolute perfect consistency. SO much meat in there too (though he said it could use a bit of extra dressing). Bubbles and Squeak: Delicious. Just delicious. Zero notes, you should eat it. Beanie Weenies: Home-made right in the restaurant! My favorite thing on the menu. Super savory, semi-healthy (beans...at least?), and served super warm. Comfort food at its finest. Menu in-restaurant was different than online one on a few things.
