We did a pickup order the day after Christmas when not much else was open nearby. The food was ready quickly and was all correct. We ordered a large specialty pizza, 14 bone-in wings, garlic knots, cheesecake and a chicken sub. A lot of food for about $50. The chicken sub was very good and huge for the like $7 or so. The pizza was kinda floppy but loaded with toppings and tasted fresh and good. The wings were crispy and good. I have no issues giving this 5 stars. Granted it was takeout, so service wasn't an issue. We ordered quite a few things for our family that was camping. I ordered the Chicken Steak which was VERY good. The finely chopped chicken made eating easy. The bread was soft and it came with lettuce, tomato, onions, and mayo. Exactly how I like it. We also ordered the Special pizza. It was very flavorful, the sauce was seasoned well. All of the toppings only added to pie. Lastly a large house salad. Hard to go wrong there. Lettuce was crisp as were the toppings. Packaged Ken's dressing, but it worked for us. Nice spot if you don't want to cook at Douthat State Park. read more

This restaurant is located across the street from Kroger. They have patio dining, a closed off room and a large dining area. There are flat screen televisions stationed throughout the restaurant. There are lots of choices (except they were out of nachos and fried pickles). The garden salads were a decent size. The ravioli was excellent. The lasagna was good. The entree salads were huge. Our server was nice. Be careful when pulling out of the parking lot. read more

Traveling home from Virginia to Cincinnati we found this restaurant by accident. We saw a highway sign for them and we were super hungry. So glad we stopped!!! Onion rings were so perfect. Very crispy and not a heavy breading. We also had the pizza and Italian hoagies. OMG Yum!! The bread on the hoagie was so fresh. I had mine toasted and it had a really light crisp. This place is legit the best place to eat in Clifton Forge. I could stop there. Service, regardless of how busy, is given with a smile; the owner and head chef works hard and is really friendly. The food is great. I had the margherita pizza, Wings, and garlic knots with my family this trip. It was a fairly busy day with most of the booths full, we sat in the back area, and it was great. Even with an absolute ton of people, there food came out quickly, accurately and, man, that pizza dough is just the way I like it. Chewy, yet crisp with a slight sourness to the dough and well proportioned toppings. The wings were good, and the sauce was great I got normal mild buffalo sauce. I have been here several times before and the Garlic knots are a must to be honest. They're not an option when you go, you just need to order them. read more

I've never been charged for sauce on top of the charge for calzone before. They nickel and dime you to death. Not very friendly there. We try to eat locally. But......our silverware was dirty and we didn't say anything...just didn't use them. The BIG problem was that I was sipping my drink using a straw and noticed my glass. Got a turnover/calzone order & delivered for a large and this is the tiniest, thinest one i have EVER had. When we called and informed them we got a small and their only defense was it was in a box. This has to be the worst Italian restaurant I've ever been to! Anyone knows that if you order anything from an Italian Restaurant the Portions are always a good size. I ordered a Lasagna dinner and the lasagna was extremely small and was priced at $11.29 and I specifically asked for cheese on my salad and did not receive that even though I paid extra. There was no ricotta cheese and there was more mozzarella then there was pasta. Sadly this hasn't been my only experience with Bella Pizza, seems every time I give them another try the food just isn't very good. It's sad that this small town really doesn't have many options when it comes to dining out or in, thankfully there is another Italian Restaurant by the name of Michaels and for $11.25 you can get an order of lasagna that will feed 3, sadly they were on vacation this day which led me to give Bella another chance. Let me start by saying that my family and I have been eating at Bella's forever. We order delivery from them at least once a month and have had our problems but tonight was the WORST service yet. We ordered over $50 worth of food to be delivered and part of it was missing. I called to have our issue corrected and was told that the forgotten sauce was on them but our extra order of deep fried pickles was never ordered (she read the order back to me to begin with). So I politely stated that but was told it wasn't on the ticket. 2 ordered of deep fried pickles would be put together, not separate. Instead of making a big deal I excepted what she said and paid the extra $7, but just for my own well being I calculated up my order from the beginning and added well enough for tax and i know my order was correct in the first place. My only purpose in writing this is to inform people to be careful ordering delivery considering they do not give you a detailed receipt. read more
