Even when he ended up realizing that there would need to be additional work to be done that would come at an additional cost to me, he made sure to talk me through my options, he made recommendations, and never forced me into anything. Instead, he worked with me to find solutions that would result in a safe, quality deck and also at a cost that I could manage. There were a lot of hiccups during the process but they did a great job fixing issues and being upfront about them and the changes when they occurred. They brought my 1960s looking kitchen to this century and decade. They were extremely professional, upfront with me when issues or changes occurred, and explained the problems. I've had issues with previous contractors they were not upfront with me and added all these ridiculous changes or fees that weren't needed. Then he gives you just enough to get you off his back and then still doesn't follow through. Claims he has materials he doesn't and claims he had to special order things and won't provide receipts when asked. The store says other wise that things were in fact not ordered and what materials he did drop off are incorrect and are in stock in the store. He offered a refund, we will see if we get that. We have been down to studs since beginning of September. Oh and he punctured a hole through a wall and didn't fix it. It has been a nightmare trying to get the correct materials or a refund so we can part ways with him. We will see if we get the refund he said he would give, if not we will be taking him to court for compensation. ​

It wasn't going to be a big job, only about 56' of ornamental fencing and Penn Fencing scheduled our Estimator, Charlie to visit a few days after calling them in early March. We received the Estimate a few days later and the pricing was comparable to the other quotes we gathered. Penn Fencing came recommended to us by 3WS's Johnny Hartwell and we went with his advice and selected them for the work. It has only taken five (5) weeks for the materials to arrive and the install to be scheduled. Kevin and his two (2) man crew arrived promptly at 8:30am, to do the work and they were finished in about 90 minutes. No mess, no inconvenience, and they disposed of our old fencing for us. The fence looks great! I did have to go back and tighten a few screws, but it wasn't a big deal. We are very pleased with the job they did and would recommend them for your project.
