I'm someone who sends flowers for key occasions and have primarily used "Mark's Garden" for probably 20 years. I felt like mixing it up a bit and based on other Yelp reviews called "The Flower Girl" and spoke with Victoria who could not have been nicer. After explaining budget, pricing, delivery I let Victoria "do her thing" creatively and the reaction on her arrangement was exactly what I had wanted. In fact I even called Victoria later in the day to let her know how pleased the recipient was on the delivery and her reaction was so generous and pleasing I felt motivated to send positive vibes (and business!) her way via Yelp. I have been going to Victoria (The Flower Girl) for around 7 or 8 years now. I think it's time that I review her business. My wife teaches down the street from this flower shop. It's location is very convenient for my spur of the moment romantic impulse purchases. But this shop is anything but an impulsive-buy in it's quality. The flowers are always stellar; beautiful, lush, full, fragrant. Victoria is a true artist. I'll go into the shop, tell her my budget and the occasion, and she'll whip together something lovely every time! She knows my name, she remembers things I've told her about special occasions, and she always makes me feel like family. One time back before they had a delivery service, her husband used to make the deliveries. I had ordered a bouquet to be delivered to the hospital for my wife after one of my sons was born. Her husband showed up (on time) bruised and a bit disheveled. I asked him if he was alright...apparently he had been attacked in a parking lot just a short while before heading to us. AND HE STILL BROUGHT THE FLOWERS!!! What?!? If he had missed the delivery, that would have been an acceptable excuse!!! Right? You see, they put the customer FIRST! Wow! I'm their customer (and fan) for life. The ONLY downside to this business, is the parking lot. They are located on a fairly busy intersection (Whitsett and Riverside) and the parking lot is tiny and ALWAYS busy. Street parking is usually full. Just plan ahead and know that it might take you a few extra minutes to find a spot. read more

I was having two ceremonies as well as two receptions and I just wanted some extra flowers to compliment what I had already purchased. They were extremely nice and accommodating.
