The sales-tactics used to get us to spend the extreme amount of money in return for the poor products and horrible customer service had the markings of a scam. Our daughter-in-law's dress came in 7 weeks late just days before the wedding and she called weekly to check on the status. Sometimes they would tell her it's almost in, other times they couldn't remember who she was, one time they were excited to tell her it looked like it was going to come early (a month late). The sales person, Savannah was kind but maddeningly unhelpful, disorganized at best, misleading about the actual dress & tailor's abilities and prices, and unaccommodating to our son's groomsmen. Mis-sized tuxedos, no records of certain requests made ... our list of complaints is long but the summary is DO NOT risk doing business with Bella Rose. They seem lovely at first until they get your credit card on file. read more

I don't want to give a 1 star because there was good but a 3 star is pushing it. I made an online appointment and the First Lady I spoke with was very sweet, and welcoming! I can't remember her name but the women who helped me with finding the dress was also very sweet! Here's my complaint, when I got there I told the front desk lady and lady who helped me pick a dress that I was looking and we wouldn't be able to pay anything until later January 24th, I wanted to already have my dress picked out and just come back to pay in full not the 50% then 50%. I said yes to a dress that was over budget and honestly after looking at photos it wasn't worth what the price was...( I found it online on the designer website for 1000) it was 3500 at the store! She got my measurements and everything seemed fine until I was about to leave. I don't know if it was the owner or who she was (she was heavier set, brown hair, about 5'6). But she told us that we HAD to pay 50% because I said yes to a dress and when I told her they we wouldn't be coming back to buy the dress she got upset and aggressive told us that we had to pay something. Mind you we weren't told this at any point and this paperwork I signed didn't say anything about paying that day either! I will also add that I went to 2 different bridal shops and told them my experience and both of them said a lot of people will leave Bella rose unhappy and disappointed because of someone's customer service. read more

After visiting several other shops in OKC, my bridal party and I showed up for our last appointment of the day at Bella Rose. We were all so relieved it was the last appointment and not the first, because the whole experience put such a bad taste in my mouth and made me feel so horrible about myself. First, you do not get to pick any dresses you try on. You simply show your bridal consultant what you like and they go pick things for you. Which would be fine, except that my bridal consultant paid zero attention to me when I told her what I liked. She spent the entirety of my appointment looking at herself in the mirror. I wish I was exaggerating. My bridal party took videos of her playing with her hair in the mirror the whole time I was talking. She rushed me in and out of the worst quality dresses I've ever tried, and none of them were even close to the inspo pictures I had showed her. She never mentioned what designers the dresses came from, which was sketchy. She was socially unaware, unbothered, and detached. And my appointment was over in 45 minutes, half the time of any other bridal shop I visited. I could not be any clearer; do not waste your time or money here. Employees are rude, dresses are cheap, the shop itself is dated and poorly maintained. Worst experience in Edmond/OKC by a long shot. read more

Would leave zero stars if I could. After going all over the metro looking at dresses, I found one at a competitor boutique. I called Bella Rose Edmond to cancel my appointment 14 days in advance. The person on the phone said she was still going to charge me $75 for cancelling. I was NEVER told this over the phone when I booked. I was told that there's a fee for cancelling within 24 hours of the appointment and a no show fee. But 2 weeks is more than enough advanced notice. I would never have booked if I had known that. I initially booked my appointment online and completed the Wedding Registration Form as requested. The confirmation email seemed promising, but unfortunately, that was the highlight of my interaction with the salon. Despite multiple attempts to communicate my preferences for dress styles, including sending photos and descriptions, I received no response to my emails. When I called to confirm dress availability, I was promised a callback that never came. It took several calls before I finally learned that the salon did not carry the specific dress nor designer I desired and that I would need to have it overnighted at my own expense. Upon arriving for my appointment, I was shocked to discover that they only had the overnighted dress ready for me to try on, despite my clear indication that I wanted to explore other options. The stylist struggled to find dresses that aligned with my preferences, and the limited selection left much to be desired. To add to the frustration, the salon had rented out the entire space for a massive private party, violating their own guidelines about the number of guests. We were relegated to a cramped space for a considerable amount of time, with no apologies or refreshments offered. The checkout process further extended my dissatisfaction, as the staff seemed unfamiliar with the computer system, resulting in a lengthy and frustrating experience. Throughout the entire process, communication was a significant issue. Promised callbacks were rarely received, and when they did occur, they were often delayed by more than a week. This lack of responsiveness and coordination only added to the overall sense of unprofessionalism. In summary, my experience at Bella Rose Bridal was marred by poor communication, a limited dress selection, a disorganized appointment, and a lack of professionalism. I hope my review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering this bridal salon for their special day. EDIT: In response to the store's reply on Google reviews, note that we started in the non-private area of the salon made to support 4 or so parties where there was one other bride trying on dresses with her guest. We were informed we would have to move to the other "private" bridal suite after waiting in the butler's pantry between the two suites for at least 20 minutes where I stayed in the thin, short robe they provided to me for ease of changing gowns. Only after the party in the private suite was done were we permitted to move into the private suite. We would have been much happier to arrive an hour later had we been informed there was a scheduling error on their end. read more

PLEASE READ. The only regret I have from wedding planning is using Bella rose. If you want the short story, Bella rose ordered me the completely wrong wedding dress. I ended up having to wear it to my wedding. Have yet to hear an apology from anyone on the Bella rose team. My initial appointment at Bella rose was wonderful. I had two appointments until I "said yes to the dress". We ordered the dress and was told it would arrive in about 4-6 months. 7 months later it came in (no biggie). When I came to try on my dress they unzipped the bag and I immediately knew it wasn't mine. I told the consultant that but she swore I may just not remember correctly and should still put it on. So I did. It was the wrong dress. The consultant finally listened to me and went to get her manager. The manager came in the try on room shoving the contract in our face saying we paid for this dress and this is my dress. When she finally let us speak and showed her pictures of the dress I said yes to, she found out that the tags on the dresses were incorrect so they did in fact order me the wrong dress. Her exact words were, "so it's not our fault, the tags were switched!". Obviously that was not as reassuring of a comment as she thought it would be. We asked them to please order the dress that I wanted originally. They said they could not do that unless they sent back the dress that came in. I was 3 months out from my wedding- how could I trust that they would have my dress back in time when this one took 7 months to come in. I was between a rock and a hard place (still with no apology). The dress that did get ordered (the wrong one) was beautiful but highlighted some areas of my body that I wasn't thrilled about. We ended up taking the incorrect dress and prayed that our alterations lady could work a miracle. They had us take another "said yes to the dress picture" at the end of this appointment and I was trying my best to hold tears in. The manager said "the dress you are taking is actually $20 more expensive but we will waive that for you". Not only were we never going to pay the additional $20 for a dress I did not order- I truly truly believe we should have been refunded a minimum of half of the dress cost. The manager went to hide at the back of the store while we checked out. Did not see us out and did not offer one apology at all for the situation or how it was handled. Again, I understand accidents happen and I'm not upset about the accident. I am upset about how Bella rose reacted to the accident. Still waiting for an apology. Any time the conversation regarding weddings comes up I tell anyone and everyone to avoid this shop at all costs. I truly hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

This was the third bridal store I went to. I decided to go because I wanted to make sure I loved the other dress 100% before saying yes. I ended up finding my dress here but my consultant made the experience less than enjoyable. She started off my telling me my budget would be hard to work with even though it was higher than their "average" that was listed on their website. I felt very rushed in all the dresses and she also made a snarky comment on how I was looking for dresses very early. I felt very judged the entire time and almost wish I would have said yes to that same dress anywhere else. I wanted to buy my dress here and emailed twice after my appointment trying to follow up to make the purchase. I told them at the appointment that I wanted to purchase the dress, and they said to email them. I never heard back from them. During the appointments I made it clear that I was marrying a woman, as I was casually talking to my stylist about the wedding. I did not feel welcome in the ring section of the store based on the mannerisms and general distaste from the women working behind the counters towards me and my entire party. I did not make a review at that time for this shop, I shook it off and moved on. Today my fiancé goes to try on tuxedos. Her mom called earlier in the week to ensure that there are tuxes at the store for her to try on. They said yes, and that she didn't need an appointment. They get there today and there are no tuxes, the front desk said they needed an appointment, and on top of that, were completely unhelpful and in fact, rude. When my fiancé found a tux in the catalog she liked, the stylist would not measure her and pushed them out the door. After these 2 appointments, it was made clear to us that they were not interested in our business. Unprofessional, not helpful, and not welcoming. read more

I would never recommend another person go here. The bride had us order our dresses from Bella Rose 6 months before the wedding date. We were told we'd be contacted when they arrived. 3 months later we never heard anything so with multiple people trying to contact them, finally we were told that they were on backorder and they should be coming soon. Fast forward to 3 weeks before the wedding, and the dresses got shipped to all the bridesmaids but one. I told them I needed my package to be delivered to sign off on it, but my package was lost or stolen. I contacted the store and requested a new dress be shipped to e ASAP and they said there is nothing they can do. Terrible service. Untimely in answering emails. We had a great experience. My sister got her dress here a few months ago and my mother got her MOB dress here as well. After watching their experience, I had high expectations and they definitely met them! The Edmond location has a HUGE selection and the consultants pull what you tell them you're looking for and do not try to get you in a dress you don't want. Only downside, which I'm learning is pretty typical for most bridal salons, is that alterations are done out of house and you have to take your dress elsewhere for those. I didn't have any specifics and was pretty open minded about trying anything/everything. She took what little I gave her and went to work, bless her heart. The experience I had at Bella Rose had me leaving the salon in tears for all of the wrong reasons, and ready to cancel any other dress appointment I had that day. Originally when I called the salon, I was told that I had a party size larger then they allowed (I had 6 people) due to covid restrictions. Exploring options for me to be able to come without sacrificing those that I wanted there with me, it was decided I needed to book a private room and come in at 9 AM. When I arrived at the salon (15 mins early) we were lead to a room that was very obviously meant for bridesmaid dress appointments as it had 4 individual little dressing slots and was an area everyone had to pass to get to the true bridal try on areas. Therefore, not private at all, and honestly seemed dirty. The room was also freezing cold, thermostat was on 62 and it was a cold day outside. We shared with the staff that we were uncomfortable and they assured us that they would work on the temp that due to them just now opening they needed to adjust things, understandable. My consultant was late to my appointment by about 15 mins (downfall of being the first appointment of the day). I shared with her some of my inspo but also advised her that I had never tried on dresses before so at the same time was open. I also shared some things with her that I did not think I would want such as a dress that was full lace (remember the full part). As she started to bring in dresses that matched my inspo we quickly determined that maybe that was not what I actually wanted. However, she continued to bring me dresses that I had already expressed would not work, such as a specific fabric I shared I hated. With each dress I HAD to go in front of all of my guests just to see a mirror because there was not any mirrors available in the smaller area that I was changing in. With each dress it felt like she spent ages showing me alteration possibilities even if I simply hated the dress, wasting time in an appointment they were already late to start. The consultant grew obviously frustrated me, and asked my party to go pick out dresses without me knowing, but then acted upset in private with me that my party took it upon themselves to go get dresses. It wasnt like I could leave the room to look because it wasnt until after about 8 dresses she finally brought me a robe. A robe that was disgusting and felt like it was maybe 50 years old (simply not the quality I was expecting based on how this establishment sold themselves). A family member picked out a dress that had minimal lace on it and a comment was made to me that "maybe my party didn't care about what I liked since they brought this to me", but I had only ever said I did not want FULL lace. The consultant hyper fixated on things I mentioned I would probably not like and completely wrote them off. It wasnt until what I believe was a manager stepped in to help that I had any confidence in this place (if I could have had an appointment with just her, i think I would have been able to give at least 3 stars). When we realized I wasn't liking what I thought I would not once did she try to bring things opposite to see if that was the direction we should be going. The last dress I put on was the first dress I even REMOTELY liked and it happened to be at the 10:30 mark of when my appointment should be ending. My mom had found one more dress we wanted to try on and they were strict to the 10:30 mark although they didnt hold that same accountability for my 9 AM start time. Remember I mentioned it was freezing in there, this contributed to the fact that every single time my consultant touched me to help me with a dress she shocked me, which only added to the extreme uncomfortability I was already experiencing. I think my consultant forgot she was supposed to be selling me a dress and instead kept trying to sell me the establishment. Constantly she reminded me they had the most dresses in OK so if I couldn't find one there, I would probably be SOL. Every dress, even after stating I hated it, asked if I wanted a veil instead of saving that moment. In this experience I felt extremely unheard, disregarded, pressured, and ultimately disgusted. The consultant did nothing to set the tone of the appointment with me. Had I known I was not getting a true private room and was going to be thrown into a place that every person who entered the establishment could see me I would have never gone. I also did not enjoy having to show every single dress to the group just to be able to see it myself. I appreciate the offer to give me a private room so I could bring my full party, but I was mislead. Also, it is 2023, covid doesn't discriminate. So whether you allow 4 guests or 6, there is still a risk and an experience for a bride should not suffer because of that. I have the smallest bridal party (4) I have seen compared to everyone I have known that has been married in the last 10 years and truly did not expect this much trouble from that. read more
