Although we were very sad for my grandmother's passing, I felt as though she would have appreciated the flowers that we got for her. We also had to request these flowers on special order because there is a special way to arrange these flowers for Korean funerals. Ordered floral centerpieces for my daughters 1st birthday. I provided 3 pictures to provide reference as to what type of flowers and colors I wanted to be incorporated. I spoke with Maria personally to talk about ideas. We spoke about specific colors and flowers. Needless to say I got grandma looking flowers that looked like they were for a funeral home and NOT AT ALL what we discussed! Missing alot of the colors I wanted incorporated and didn't include specific flowers that she had agreed to use. To make matters worse, she sent her delivery person to the wrong address. When they finally showed up at my venue it was 30 min before the party was gonna start. I had already paid Maria more than 50% of my balance. Gave the rest to the delivery person as I'm sure some of that was her fee (even tho I got ripped off,I will not do that to others!) In the end ,we were stuck with ugly arraignments that we didn't even use! But the worst part is that we contacted the shop a few times and no answer! Who does that??! knowing the flower shops around my area suck I decided to let yelp find a new flower shop within a reasonable distance. Did a search and Maris Flowers came up with all good reviews, it was only 3 but they got my attention. So I decided to give them a try and stopped by after work. luckily I made it on time cause on this day they closed at 5:00. Was greeted by a very nice woman who took my order of a dozen roses and gladly added other flowers for a very reasonable price. Even with a small fee for delivery out of their area the total price was still very reasonable compared to other flower shops I've dealt with. Flowers where delivered on the set date and time and the wife was very happy. these flowers where fresh and looked great and a balloon was even added to my surprise and an butterfly was also in the arrangement that my wife thought was nice. so all and all this place met all of my expectations and more. they will definitely be getting more of my business. read more
