I've seen Hanadai bouquets at my local Mitsuwa and have always admired how beautiful they were. The bouquets' color scheme is very aesthetic-- pastels, whites and light colors. It's my friend's birthday tomorrow so I stopped by at their store front to pick up an arrangement. I showed the attendant the photo of what I wanted, it was a photo on their website. The bouquet was spot on and I'm very happy with how it turned out!!! I felt the price was fair. With tax, the total was $60.50 ($55 before tax). The only thing I have to say is the bouquet only looks good from the front view. This is the first time I've had an arrangement only look good from one view. Usually it's gorgeous from all angles. At first when I bought on the website I was a bit underwhelmed when I picked them up, since it looked bigger in the pictures. I don't blame them since I should have asked about sizing. It would be nice to have some way to tell online but I don't fault them for that. I do love their wild flower arrangements and my wife approves so I gave them another shot this time I called and asked about the sizing comparisons. They didn't look like the typical round bouquet shape from the grocery store. I asked for more yellows and oranges than the pictured pinks and they understood the assignment! I liked the eucalyptus leaves and the fun fan plant in back. I also liked the whimsical yellow fluffy tail plants. The bad: There was a $17 service and tax fee. Excellent selection of beautiful flowers in different colors. The owner was extremely sweet and thoughtful. I told her that we wanted some cheery, get well flowers for my grandpa and she immediately started picking out certain colors that were a bit more masculine while still being very vibrant. It took her about 15 minutes to quickly whip up sizeable arrangement (about 20-30ish stems or so), arranged in a basket, all for a decent price. Our whole family was going through a really tough time. When I brought the flowers back, it was the center of attention for many days. They were utterly and complete adored. My grandma took many photos and sent them to her friends, each member of the family went around choosing their favorite single flower, but ultimately gave up because they said the whole arrangement itself was too beautiful. I told my budget was 60 but I ended up paying almost 80 bucks coz of adding tax and tips. :( It was an expensive bouquet, but the wrapping wasn't pretty and perfect at all. I should have taken a picture. They put too much water and didn't cover the stems and water filled plastic which was dangling. They instructed me to hold upright all time due to water being leak. Wowww I bought flower bouquet from different locations and no one put that much water and asked me to hold upright at all time. They used sponges to hold water and cover nicely that u can't see it from outside. I was so disappointed with their wrapping technique. I won't recommend this place to get your flowers. read more
