TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! This floral shop has HORRIBLE customer service. Prom corsage fell apart after being given instructions from ALEX to remove an unwanted embellishment stating that the embellishment would not compromise the integrity of the corsage as the flowers weren't attached to the embellishment. 20 minutes later the corsage fell apart. The flowers hardly had any glue attached which we could see clearly. Luckily, my mom was able to sew some of the flowers onto the bracelet to hopefully make it to prom, but I'm told it only made it the drive there. I called today to simply inform them of this unfortunate event and ALEX immediately became defensive. He was rude from the start and as soon as I informed him of what happened he started speaking and wouldn't stop. He offered zero apologies at first and laughed in my face in addition to raising his voice at me. Prior to offering a refund, he requested we bring the corsage in so he could inspect it to see what happened since WE must've done something to it to sabotage our florals on a day such as this. Needless to say the corsage was tossed upon arrival. I will never use this floral shop again and I would never recommend them to anyone. I wasn't impressed with the florals to begin with. What was delivered was completely different from what was represented in photos on their site. Buy at your own risk! read more

This quaint little flower shop is located near the corner of Lomita and Narbonne. It might be easy to miss driving by if not for the very cute floral sign in front. It has a very welcoming entrance and you walk into a small but pretty shop. I like their $10 bunches and dried floral arrangements in addition to the fresh ones. I needed to order flowers for my friend that's in the hospital. We use to live in Lomita so I wanted to buy from a florist there. I found floral 101 on yelp! I looked at their website and found a beautiful arrangement. I called the next day to place my order because I order directly because many of the florist online aren't local. you will go through a 3rd party. I learned that a few years ago. I was able to place my order quickly and they said the flowers would be delivered the next day. (On Saturday) I was told they would send a picture before delivery. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. The florist called to tell me there was a problem with the room number and the hospital wouldn't take delivery so I was able to change the room number and the driver delivered the flowers within 10 minutes.
