One thing to note was the customer service. Top of the line. The requests I made were fulfilled to the T. Harry and San are easy to talk to and could not have made my order any better... or can they? Jokes aside, they are awesome dudes.

My first time here and it won't be my last. We bought three bouquets. I loved that there were many staffers and a lot of them available to help and answer questions. The only reason why I am not giving them 5 stars is because our most expensive bouquet died and wilted first. We got large exotic flowers for it and some of those stems were $10 each. Sadly they only lasted a day or two and it was a funeral for the bouquet. The other flowers lasted and were wonderful. We will be back.

I bought flowers from here for my boyfriend and he loved them! This flower shop has a wide array of flowers and all for a pretty decent price as well! The staff were really kind and attentive. They answered any questions we had and I would definitely be coming back for other occasions!

Allen's Flower Market is located on the corner of Atlantic and Willow in Long Beach. I go to them if I want arrangements for a special occasion. For my order today, I wanted to get my wife a simple, vibrant purple arrangement for our anniversary as it's her favorite color. Went with tulips as I was looking to have a nice, deep purple that you don't find in roses Though they are family-owned and operated, their website is easy to navigate, conveniently allowing me to make same-day orders that I can prepay for online through PayPal. Even when I don't use their website, I do like to take advantage of their advertised special offers, which are very reasonable (refer to my picture for the current offer seen from the nearest intersection). They often have great walk-in deals for a dozen roses that are far cheaper than what you'd pay for a proper floral arrangement. If you're a local, then this is a great small business to support. We are about to hit Valentine's season, so I'm just looking out!

This is my favorite flower place to go to in Long Beach , I've been going for years !!! Located on willow and Atlantic right smack in the corner , can't miss it ! They have their own parking lot as well ! They always have fresh , pretty , and different variety of flowers to pick from I have chose the flowers myself and they always make it look so pretty ! Everyone is always so helpful here and nice :) ! They also already have premade boutiques to choose from and little gifts and cards if needed and balloons ! Will always come here for boutiques and I think it's very fairly priced considering I always pick the flowers myself!

I recommend Allen's for all your celebrations. The quality and value of their flowers is amazing. Their service is just as amazing. Ordered a birthday floral arrangement Thursday morning for Friday pick up and it was ready the next morning. Outstanding service! I called Allen's Florist only 30 minutes before they stopped deliveries for the day because I really needed flowers sent to a friend who is ill. Alyssa answered the phone and was incredibly kind, pleasant, and helpful. She assured me she would make sure the arrangement was delivered that same day, and she absolutely came through! The price even including the delivery fee was extremely reasonable, and the floral arrangement was absolutely gorgeous. I was so impressed with the quality and the wonderful customer service. I searched for a florist as my normal florist would not deliver to the recipient's address. Based upon previous reviews, being family-owned, and being able to order online were the factors for me selecting Allen's. Their website and app are easy to use, and I liked the unique way they sort the possible arrangements for viewing online. I quickly made a selection and liked the various options, some free and some extra, for delivery windows. The arrangement was delivered early the next morning and the recipient was thrilled. Got my mom some flowers. I didn't know flowers were that expensive now days but they did a good job it's like $60 for a bouquet, they make it right there pretty quick like 5 minutes they make it nice. They have parking so it's easy pull up and get the flowers you need. read more

After a death in the family I ordered flowers from Allen's Flower Market in Long Beach. I wanted to go local. I'm 500 miles away but the flowers were for someone I love who lives in Long Beach. Within two hours the flowers were delivered. The flowers are beautiful and beyond my expectations. I go to Allen's flower shop for all my flower needs. I make my own arrangement with the flowers I pick and have been coming here when the filler used to be free. They then started charging for filler which was fine I still wanted to support. Recently I went and had one bunch of tulips, and two bunches of other flowers. I wanted the bunches together in an arrangement with filler, I was informed they would charge me for three fillers even though it was one arrangement. I decided to not get the filler. At this point I will be going to another flower shop. Service has always been decent, I never experienced bad customer service. Customer service has always been good or neutral. read more

My friend's brother passed away unexpectedly and I was unable to attend the memorial service. So I ordered flowers online and sent them to the church. I chose the The Sacred Spray! Beautiful flowers! His favorite color was purple and this arrangement featured cascading purple flowers with white lily flowers as an accent. The cost was a bit pricey but how often do you buy flowers? Came today for Mother's Day. Wanted to change the stuffed animal on the arrangement for a different one but got allot of pushback. If someone is willing to pay the high price on your product the least one could do is comply with the simple request. All it would have taken was to tie a different stuffed with a ribbon, I wasn't asking for a rearrangement. The lady in the front always has an attitude and it shows on your face. I honestly would recommend another flower shop. I understand it's a busy time of the year but if you don't like your job then try something else. read more

These guys absolutely suck they waited until the 11th hour to tell us they weren't going to service the flowers we desperately need for a friend in need. Their services all you from an unknown number so you have no way of getting in to contact with them. The guy that answers the phone says he's not capable to taking messages for the owner to then relay messages. Their website also has no monitoring of what areas they can actually service before you place an order. Not sure how a company like this can even stay in business. They were a huge hassle to deal with, still haven't seen my refund and who waits the day of delivery to tell you they can't service. Do not go with these guys, they have no idea what they're doing and lack any level of professionalism read more

Came here twice, one for one of monthaversaries and some I'm Sorry flowers. Here were my experiences Parking: Plaza parking for about 6 cars - Two entrances bu be sharp since it's on the corner. Feels: It's a nice spot. It is on the corner of two pretty busy streets. The market itself is pretty big. Room for flowers, decor, and a refrigerator of more flowers. Every spot is in pretty much good use. Good place for all your needs: Birthday, I'm Sorry, Congratulations, etc. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Excellent. Friendly, knowledgable, and professional people. Allen's Flower Market was opened at its present location in Long Beach in April of 1978 by Ben Goldman. Most unique at the time, Allen's Flower Market was open on Sundays. To this day, the shop has opened and operated every day of its existence. In 1998, Ben Goldman retired and sold Allen's Flower Market to his son Harry. Harry and wife Nancy have carried on the tradition of great prices, professional floral design and exceptional customer service, with an emphasis on a quality product at the best value that would lead Allen's Flower Market to success in the future. Last Wednesday afternoon, I took my mother to a hospital because she currently suffers from serious cervical spine issues. On our way, I had to turn right onto a small street, so I changed lanes one block ahead of that street. I clearly had enough distance from the truck on my right rear, and I clearly gave a lane change signal. I also sped up so that I could give more than enough distance from the truck. The truck, immediately noticing that I was changing lanes, decided to not give way, and sped up, almost crashing into my car. This was a very, very dangerous move. When he couldn't stop us from that lane change, he got so angry that he started honking like crazy. When I looked at my rear-view mirror, a Hispanic driver (I'd say in his 40s) started flicking me off hysterically with his two middle fingers. When I turned right onto the street, the guy started honking again and tailgated and followed us to the new street. After a few seconds, when I slowed down to stop at red, the truck sped up to our side, flicked us off again, and yelled at me and my mother with racist slurs. Then he drove his truck toward the side of our car, almost hitting us, and cut us off in front. I had to careen my car to the opposite side and make a sudden stop to avoid a serious car accident. This incident caused an unexpected whiplash to my mother's neck, and she immediately complained of a huge pain in her neck. The doctor that we saw that afternoon told us that she has gotten much worse, and added several more tests (EEGs and NCVs) in addition to MRI, which was the only test she needed prior to this incident. The photos that I've uploaded are those immediately after that traumatic stop, and the truck you see is the truck that committed such a heinous act of road rage. Please do not patronize this business. Please do not buy from Allen's Flower Market. They hire hateful, racist, and mentally incapable drivers to deliver your flowers. What the driver displayed that afternoon simply does not match what they are selling. The thought of putting a smile on your mother's face with a flower delivered by an insane, hate-filled driver like this is very disturbing. This is what happens when you are in business for money, and money alone. By buying their flowers, you are indirectly supporting what the driver has done. I am planning on reporting this incident to the police and other agencies/organizations that work to fight off Asian hate crimes. I am also in consultation with multiple personal injury attorneys to take any possible legal actions against this business. If any of the readers have any resources to help me prevent the same incident from happening not just to Asian Americans but anyone, please reach out to me. Went there yesterday to pick up one rose. I am the owner of a design shop and needed one more rose to complete my design. When I went to pay for the rose, I gave my credit card and was told they could not take it because they don't accept cards for under $5 purchase...which is illegal in the state of California. I addressed this and asked for a manager. This really fat and ugly hispanic guy...from across the room claimed he was the manager, but when I asked for his name, he stated it didn't matter. I knew he wasn't the manager at that point. When I left, as I was walking out the door, I could hear the fat boy talking about me, so under my breath I called him a prick. He screamed across the store for me to" f---ing say it to my face". I walked up to the counter and asked him to repeat and he said to call it to his face...so I did. He screamed so loudly for me to get the f--k out of his store...twice. I called Roy today...one of the managers. In our discussion I found that he thinks it is okay to not accept credit cards for under $5 because other merchants do it and he thinks they can too...irregardless of whether it is against the law. He also thinks that if I am allowed to get angry at his employees, I should be prepared for anything they might say in return and they have the right to do so. I was so shocked by this and told him that in my business...the customer is always right!!! I also told him that s--t trickles downhill and he is a lousy manager if he thinks it is okay for his employees to scream at customers and challenge them. I refuse to EVER go to this place again...I would have given negative stars if possible and I would encourage others to never go there again. This type of behavior, as well as breaking the law with their policies is totally unacceptable. read more

This place has poor customer service, unfriendly staff and overpriced flowers. I came here on New Year's Day and purchased an arrangement and spend over hundred dollar on the arrangement. I happily spend on flowers since it's personal , I think we all do. After taking the flowers , I noticed the flowers in my arrangement were literally wilted. A gentleman whose name was Omar helped me and he didn't know the first thing about treating a customer, and anything about flowers , he wasn't helpful and he was just trying to hike up the bill and I don't mind if I get nice flowers . At the end when I asked for a ribbon and I asked how to make the arrangement nicer, he was trying to charge me $2.99 for a ribbon on an arrangement. We spend hundreds of dollars on flower, try to be courteous and helpful and not try to rip off your customers. And please give your customers a flowers that are not WILTED. I told him to please put the flower in a box since I'm driving far and he cut a hole in a lousy box from their trash and water spilled over into the box and in the car. Flower is a personal thing and this place is anything but personal when it comes to your flower needs. Why get ripped off and be treated with disrespect ? You will be happier and are better off buying flowers in the street corner than buying it from this place. read more

I walked into the store and approached the front desk to inquire on a floral arrangement. Keep in mind I wasn't greeted by any of the staff and as I approached the front desk to inquire of such arrangements it almost felt as I offended the employee inquiring of a 20$ arrangement. He brushed me off and I was quickly approached by AMBER. Let me tell you amber turned around my entire experience here at the shop. She walked the store with me showing me my options of what flowers to include and her professional opinion really transcended the arrangement. She guided me and allowed me to choose the flowers while at the same time envisioning complementary colors. If it wasn't for amber I would be giving the store a one star but she really took the time of day to help me out I truly appreciate her for that. My mom was delighted with the arrangement and it's all thanks to AMBER. read more

I ordered a vase of a dozen red roses for my wife as an early Valentine's gift, which were delivered promptly to her office by midday on Monday. Unfortunately, by Thursday morning many of them were badly wilting. I couldn't reach Allen's by phone on Valentine's Day because they were so swamped. However, when I called them Saturday morning, they were apologetic and eager to fix the issue, and asked me to bring the offending arrangement in. I did so, and the owner took one look, and then politely directed me to pick any other bouquet of roses from the shop free of charge. Then he handed me a box of chocolates and apologized for the trouble. Talk about top-notch customer service! This is where I'll be getting flowers from now on. read more

As it says above, as good as it gets. I engaged Allen's Flower Market for the awesome flowers they put together for our beach wedding. With some trepidation, I selected a florist I knew nothing about, but, after talking with the principal several times (and providing example images of bridal bouquets), I had a solid confidence level about the project. THEN the flowers arrived. Holy Moley! We had never seen anything so beautiful, and so perfectly executed. Allen's SERIOUSLY under-promised and over-delivered. I cannot possibly recommend anyone more highly for your special event flowers! read more

The designers at Allen's Flower Market are ARTISTS! I gave them a them and vague idea of what I wanted for the centerpieces for our 1920's themed party and they came up with spectacular arrangements that fit the decade perfectly. I've also used them for arrangement and orchid gifts and I have to say their flowers last longer than any of the others I've tried to order online and always look better and more expensive too. I highly recommend them for all occasions. P.S. our kids will love their stuffed animal wall and balloons too. read more

The plant that I ordered was exactly like the picture on their website and arrived in perfect time, with its balloon that was very appreciated! For such high quality of flowers it is actually well priced. And these flowers last a long time. Additionally, their service is outstanding. My favorite FLOWER SHOP! I love everything about them, from the decor to the flowers to the cute little things they sell. terrible service, I have been here multiple times and I tried getting them to put my tulips from another store together with their carnations and I was just told no we can't do that.
