Based on my check ins the lie detector determines this is my place of choice. Located in downtown Perth Amboy, this place is a true gem. Honestly, every single service (besides the eyebrows) I received here has been nothing short of amazing from the gel manicures to the pedicures to the eyelash extensions, this place never fails. The place is also very well kept up and extremely clean. There are a lot of variety in terms of nail polish colors. The one thing that I like most is that the staff goes above and beyond to make sure that you're satisfied I would highly recommend this place to anyone in many of the surrounding areas. read more

Kim did my nails. I got a pedi and fill in with gel polish. It came out great The only thing i wish she could have done was lotion my hands after. A warm towel would have put the icing on the cake read more

I'm so happy with my experience at this salon. I've heard that I would probably have to wait a while since it's so busy, but to my surprise I was seated right away. I wish I asked the girl who did my nails what her name was. I'm so happy with how my nails turned out. I will definitely be back! read more

I came here to get a full set. I requested ombré color for the nails and they claimed they didn't have the color. They just didn't wanna be bothered. I came with a set that broke off and instead of letting me soak the gel off he pried them off my nail bed with a cuticle cutter. It was barbaric. read more

The man who sits in the back left of the establishment did an amazing job on the shape and painting of my nails. I asked him for a certain design and he explained that he does not do them and that only the women do designs. That was no problem so I sat in the chair to wait for the woman to do my design, I showed her the image and this is what I got. Def won't be getting designs anymore. This looks a mess lol. This place went to shit since the old owner Tina left. First of all let me start off by saying all the ladies who do the acrylic sets their are horrible, and do half ass jobs. The only ones good are the Spanish ladies doing the pedicures. I paid $55 for a full set. And i went back for a fill a week after because a nail had popped off already and paid $52 for a fill in makes absolutely no sense. I had taken off my set because they were ugly and the shape isn't what i wanted it to be. And guess what. I GOT NAIL FUNGUS as shown in the picture. I've spent many many years of my life in this nail salon on, what I make every attempt to be a weekly/biweekly basis, I've tried others and end up right back here, because they simply just do not compare! Don't waste your time, just come here first! The sibling owners are always friendly, pleasant and ensure your entire experience and time at their salon runs smoothly from start to finish. Jason is on point. Tina's work in remarkable. Sometimes everything may seem like a rush because this is the BEST nail salon around! They are always busy and patrons are waiting, practically out the door.. In the past, I have done pink and white tips and they were always beautiful as they were or with any design I asked for. I only do gel manicures ($25) and gel pedicures ($23). Total = $48 They always last 2 weeks, minimum. I always received compliments for my nails. This place gets busy FAST. You can call ahead to check out the wait but from what I understand unless you're seeing the owner, they don't take appointments. I would suggest going during the week as opposed to weekends. Or at least go earlier in the day. There are more pedicure chairs than any other salon I've been to as well as manicure seats. I think that's why I keep returning. If you're going to wait, it's not too long again unless it's the weekend or a holiday is approaching. They have many colors, gel and regular polish. They do dip powder as well. Street parking is available and there's meters to park at. read more

Bella salon was referred to me by a good friend. I travel from Staten Island and have no regrets. I loveeeeeeee my Kim she is so patient and efficient she takes her time. I've never had any issues with the gel peeling or my stones falling off. My nail shape is always on point doesn't look dull a week later. My nails usually last 3 weeks before looking like I need a fill in. My nails never look the same I'm happy every time I go. Check it out you won't be disappointed. I've also went to 3 other people before I met Kim and they were good too. But Kim is the bomb. read more

*** I GOT A TOE INFECTION *** The lady doing my toes was super rough and unsanitary. She cut me and wiped my blood off with a TOWEL. She even dropped the tools she was using and haphazardly sprayed it with the disinfectant. I wish I had said something and left right after she cut me the first time. I can't believe I paid AND tipped. She was barely paying attention to my feet and I'm still furious that I had to deal with that. With that being said, I go to DON at Bella Salon for my full set manicures, he's always booked up because he takes his time and does a great great job. read more

This nail salon was amazing. I got acrylic nails and Ken did an excellent job at making sure my nails were the shape I wanted, even, and symmetrical. Full of Hispanics so you know that they've got that friendly vibe going on. Lady who did my pedicure really got in there and made sure my feet were baby's bottom smooth. read more

Kim N Vuong did a great job shaping & designing my nails I would definitely recommend Bella Salon. First time visiting because I heard so much about it. I needed a rushed gel pedicure and they got me out in about 30-40 min. The pedicure was $28 which was the highest I ever heard but I'm going on a month with the same pedicure and the polish is perfect and the bottom of my feet are still soft. This place is ridiculous. Piling pedicures on top off fill-ins and full sets, etc. It was a great story to have my daughter's pedicure done while she soaked off her nails for a full set. Then, made her (me, too) sit for 30 minutes waiting for someone to do her set, because they had stuck at least three people in front of her while she had her pedicure and was "soaking". If you like sitting in metal folding chairs for long periods of time, this is the place for you. Also, I don't think the ventilation is up to snuff. The aromas of nail salon are overwhelming as soon as you walk in and they never get any less strong. read more

This is an amazing place to get nails done. After my cousin recommended me this place, I have only gotten my nails done here and I've never been happier. They know how to shape nails expertly and tips end up looking real on your hands. On the bad side, never come here for nail designs because they are unable to them properly. They made an ugly design with gems on my nails that I almost cried. I proceeded to a different salon to get the gems off and redone. read more

Absolutely wouldn't recommend this even to my worst enemy. Before I was called up to get my nails done (AFTER WAITING 2 HOURS) I saw a customer who already was having an argument with Erika. I should've know then. I got simple nails tiny hearts and was charged $12 for just the hearts. I was charged $52 in total when I only got 5 fake nails on to make them even with the rest of my nails. They claimed this counted as a "full set". Incredibly unbelievable!!!!!! read more

The nail technician they sent me to was absolutely horrible. She's the last chair and to be honest I don't even know if it's a woman or a man. Nor here nor there, she was aggressive with me, didn't even clean or cut my cuticles. The tools weren't cleaned or even disinfected. She rushed through the whole thing and my nails look so unnatural, uneven and they look crustier than when I came in!!! I paid $50 and tipped her! Not worth it at all! read more

Three strikes and they are out for me! In the past 3 years I've gone atleast once. The techs aren't horrible but the owners, brother and/or sister, tend to finish up for them ruining the whole experience. They are sloppy and always in a rush. They are also very rude. This is my go-to nail salon, I've been going here for years and they honestly never disappoint! Any time I try out a new place, I regret it and always end up back here. Best prices, best service! Kim is my personal favorite nail tech however she's usually not available unless you book in advance. Also they were recently taken over by new management so it's less busy which is a plus! The only thing I don't agree with is the inability to make an appointment on weekends. Otherwise fully recommend! read more

Would not recommend. Money hungry thieves, most of the techs are nice except the owner and Erica the nails werent even all that. They have hidden fees and try to add extra onto your nails withought telling you to make you pay. read more

I've been to Bella nails a few times to get my acrylics done in the past. I started going to another local salon because I liked their work. I was in the area yesterday and my friend and I decided to go to Bella's to get pedicures. She's gone there before and loved their work so figured we'd go there. We were taken for our predicates immediately. The only sanitary thing about this place and my only compliant would be that they use a plastic cover but the basin for your feet. My pedicure was rushed over all took 15 minutes! The person doing my nails did not take their time, and I didn't like how the tools were stored so I only ending up getting a polish change and massage because I did not feel comfortable with them using their tools on my feet. The pedicure was only 18 but lesson learned it is never smarter to take the cheaper way. My friends nails were smudged due to the rushing. There are many salons in the area and I'd recommend Lavogue a few doors down. read more

Worst pedicure of my life was cut 4 times. Stay away. Apparently they have new owners but still offering services from previous owners. When I asked for the upgraded pedi with the aloe they gave me someone that had no idea how to do it. Unfortunately will not go back. read more

To update, although my experience has been decent, not everyone does a great job at filing acrylic. I watched one girl get her acrylic done wonderfully while the kid with blonde hair did a horrible job on mine, even after i asked him to file down the acrylic more on some nails and correct the shape. I am becoming so discouraged with Jersey salons. I am better off taking off my wrap and doing my own mani's. read more

I felt like we knew each other for years. She did my roller set and placed me under the dryer. She also asked an employee to ask me if I wanted coffee I initially said no thank you but she insisted that I just try their coffee. Btw I am so glad I did! It taste like cinnamon! It was delicious! I am NOT kidding! The same lady also kept checking on me making sure the dryer wasn't too hot. As soon as I was dry another employee started taking off my rollers! I loved the teamwork! I honestly felt the good energy! She did a good job in my hair. Jessie and her team were extremely attentive! This was great customer service! She charged me $40 which I never paid that high the most I paid is $30 but I will definitely be back. Just have to try one more salon in the area. Lol

Then she went for the flatiron. I seriously hate the flatiron. Not to mention I said I wanted body. She continued and then slapped on a ton of oil. It left my hair weighed down, flat and super straight. Probably the single worst hair experience of my life. To make matters worse, my roots are thick now because my hair wasn't blown out or flatironed properly. Oh & I almost forgot. The sign on the door says that they accept cards and they have a card machine but the force you to use an ATM that they have inside the salon which charges you a $3 fee. No, thank you. Never again.
