I come to this salon every 2 weeks for a fill in with Grace. I love her work and she is so sweet and amazing. Today I decided to get a pedicure... HUGE mistake. Lydia was the one who did my pedicure. She dug so hard into my cuticle. When she was plucking them, I started gushing blood. She held it and proceeded with painting my nails. I was in shock and literally didn't know what to do. When I showed the owner he just disinfected it and told me he wouldn't charge me for gel. I refused to pay since I was literally nothing but hurt during this pedicure and will now have to remove it due to the amount of pain I'm in. In the pictures you can clearly see she ripped off my cuticle entirely... You can imagine my pain/ the bleeding being that it's actually bare. I have come to this place since 2003 and the only reason I still come is because my friend Muneca does my pedicure. After the place was brought out from previous owner Tina the place is always dirty dusty everywhere. Tina was so clean dusting and mopped every night. Came here for the first time today because my usual nail tech is on vacation and I had a nail emergency. This is the biggest nail salon I think I've ever been in and for good reason, they are CONSISTENTLY busy. There's like 12 pedicure chairs and I don't even know how many manicure tables. Being that they're so busy, chances are you're gonna have to wait a bit no matter what. A lady I spoke to as I was waiting said what I thought was busy was really nothing for them. The wait time is probably the only reason I'd take off one star. I went to Kim for my refill. She took her time and did a good job. She made sure I liked everything before moving on the the next steps and even helped me pick a color (because I'm beyond indecisive). I'm not sure if the girl's name who did my pedicure but she did a good job too. I noticed that the employees there are very thorough with their service, which I definitely appreciate. That probably contributes to the wait times as well but it's worth it for a good mani/pedi. I can definitely see myself going back there just not if I'm in a hurry. read more

This place went to shit since the old owner Tina left. First of all let me start off by saying all the ladies who do the acrylic sets their are horrible, and do half ass jobs. *** I GOT A TOE INFECTION *** The lady doing my toes was super rough and unsanitary. She cut me and wiped my blood off with a TOWEL. She even dropped the tools she was using and haphazardly sprayed it with the disinfectant. I wish I had said something and left right after she cut me the first time. This place is ridiculous. Piling pedicures on top off fill-ins and full sets, etc. It was a great story to have my daughter's pedicure done while she soaked off her nails for a full set. Then, made her (me, too) sit for 30 minutes waiting for someone to do her set, because they had stuck at least three people in front of her while she had her pedicure and was "soaking". If you like sitting in metal folding chairs for long periods of time, this is the place for you. Also, I don't think the ventilation is up to snuff. They know how to shape nails expertly and tips end up looking real on your hands. On the bad side, never come here for nail designs because they are unable to them properly. I should've know then. I got simple nails tiny hearts and was charged $12 for just the hearts. I was charged $52 in total when I only got 5 fake nails on to make them even with the rest of my nails. I've been to Bella nails a few times to get my acrylics done in the past. I started going to another local salon because I liked their work. I was in the area yesterday and my friend and I decided to go to Bella's to get pedicures. She's gone there before and loved their work so figured we'd go there. We were taken for our predicates immediately. The only sanitary thing about this place and my only compliant would be that they use a plastic cover but the basin for your feet. My pedicure was rushed over all took 15 minutes! The person doing my nails did not take their time, and I didn't like how the tools were stored so I only ending up getting a polish change and massage because I did not feel comfortable with them using their tools on my feet. The pedicure was only 18 but lesson learned it is never smarter to take the cheaper way. My friends nails were smudged due to the rushing. There are many salons in the area and I'd recommend Lavogue a few doors down. read more

To update, although my experience has been decent, not everyone does a great job at filing acrylic. I watched one girl get her acrylic done wonderfully while the kid with blonde hair did a horrible job on mine, even after i asked him to file down the acrylic more on some nails and correct the shape.
