Amy and Bishlam have created such a lovely space... they're both so friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. Bishlam carefully took his time to look at my hair and to get a sense of what I wanted/didn't want and he even talked through some techniques for styling and explained what kind of products would work best for my texture. With that insight, and just the great conversation we had, he delivered a cut I absolutely love. It's low maintenance (exactly what I asked for), but also super versatile: I can wear it up or down, and it fits seamlessly into my lifestyle. Not icy cold, but far from warm or personable, and I did not feel super comfortable because of that. She was a bit cold toward both myself and another costumer. Just not inviting at all, and I'm not itching to go back. But would I stop in if I were in the area? Sure. Would I drive 20 minutes again? Prob not.

My appointment was on a day that the store was closed. My purses were taken at the door - I was not invited in to discuss which purses were wanted or the selling prices. I was not given an opportunity to withdraw the purses if I felt the selling prices were too low. I was never given an inventory of what they kept or the prices. Security isn't great - when I went to pickup the 3 purses that went unsold, only 2 were located - the third was apparently shoplifted. The owner was unsympathetic and unconcerned.

Just a note ....each of the San Anselmo fashion stores carry differing lines so one is guaranteed not to see the same thing in every store. That is one of the things that makes fashion shopping in San Anselmo so unique. The owner is usually present and is quite knowledgeable about fashion and will not recommend that a person buy something if it doesn't suit the person.

I liked the color and I wanted another cashmere piece in my collection so I purchased it but when I got home and put on my glasses to remove the tag I was shocked to discover that I've been fooled. One side of the tag read "100% viscose and the other side read cashmere touch". I paid $200 for an item that was not actually cashmere. I tried to return it the next day but owner told me no refunds, store credit only. I feel I was tricked and want to warn others to be careful when purchasing from this store.

We were very friendly and kind to the staff and it felt like we were bothering them and yet we spent nearly $200 on gifts. In fact I mentioned some of the items were gifts, and they didnt want to give us a bag. There was no kindness at all, no eye contact and zero friendliness.
