Tried and true! I have been to this salon many times over the past few years and always had a pleasant experience. They typically have appointments available within the week which is helpful for last minute haircut schedulers like me! I have gotten haircuts and gloss treatments from several stylists who have all been personable, and talented! The interior is typical of a salon with small stations for each stylist. I think it's nice they always offer you a water and have some snacks available, as well. read more

Mom and two teen girls recommend this place! I got my coloring done with Karis (?) And my girls had their pinkish pop coloring done with Grtffin. They are so professional, caring, and really don't hesitate spending care, time and attention to get you the results you want. It s a really top quality salon right in the suburbs. I love that I don't have to travel down to South Tampa! I am very picky with my hair and so are my girls so we loved it. Their Aveeno products are very gentle and natural and healthier for their hair. I was in town from Miami visiting my folks and was desperate for a hair cut. After reading reviews on Yelp, I booked an appointment with Kary. I truly needed a cut and color but couldn't book the color online (I didn't know this prior) but I was happy to just get a cut. When I got there, Kary agreed I needed both and worked her schedule to accommodate me. When I say I am blown away by her work and her generosity in rearranging her time, that's not an exaggeration. I received an excellent bob-style hair cut from Melisa. Melisa was very professional, kind, and took time to understand what I wanted done. Additionally, the whole team working at the salon were extremely accommodating as I needed to bring my infant to the appointment. I normally don't ever leave reviews but when I tell you THIS IS THE BEST SALON I'VE BEEN TO, IM NOT LYING!! Everyone was super welcoming and friendly! Their hospitality was over the top. I'm bad with names and forgot what 2 lovely ladies worked on my hair, but I went in to get my blonde hair fixed with color correction because the previous hair salon I went to didn't give me what I wanted and ripped me off. So I definitely recommend, this will be my hair salon moving forward and I can't wait to go back !! I'll be posting before and after picture read more

The stylists are extremely knowledgeable with color. They can assist with helping with a new haircut to compliment your facial features. All products are derived from plants, so it's all natural! Very shady business, will lie and say that they've contacted about your follow up on appointments when they don't Even when you tell them that your phone records suggest otherwise. They did not give me an appointment card, they did not leave me voicemails as they claimed they called me numerous times and did not send me a text reminder about my appointment. Does not provide good customer service. Keeps your card on file without your permission to use for later purchases while not having you sign a contract to do so. Manager did not address concerns in a professional manner. I'm sure there's plenty of good businesses out there that have a good business ethics as well as customer service that I will be gladly giving my $400-$500 salon business to. read more

Searching for a reliable hair salon in Tampa has been a nightmare. I was searching through pictures on yelp, and searching hairstylist and then looking them up on IG. I came across Neese at Bella V Hair Salon. I was able to book my appt. next day over the phone. I got a tour of the Salon when I walked in as well as offered something to drink. Neese asked me what look I was going for and was very knowledgeable. She was very professional and friendly. She held a great conversation and made me feel comfortable when she was cutting my hair. She was very precise in her cutting making sure her work was perfect. The salon checked back with me about a week later to see how I enjoyed my experience. I can't wait to go back!!! read more

I had grown my hair for 5 years in order to donate it. I was very scared to put foot in this door, because I was planning on cutting 15 inches off. Chelsea was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. She gained my trust before she even started cutting my hair. She did an awesome and professional job on my hair and was able to help me put my donation hair together. They were all so excited to have me coming in. My first visit to this salon was fantastic! Upon arriving, I was given a tour of the salon, offered something to drink, and was introduced to the Aveda product line. My stylist, Neese, was so awesome! She took time to ask me questions about my hair and what I wished I could change about it, what my typical hair routine is, etc. She took her time with washing, cutting and styling as well and the end result was super refreshing and brought my hair back to life! This is the absolute best salon ever! Every single person who works there is exceptionally nice and so friendly. Lexie at the front desk was so nice and helpful. I took my two daughters there for haircuts and the stylists who did their hair were both amazing. Joylynn really took her time and was so patient with my 4yr old for her trim and Chelsea gave my 8yr old a wonderful new style that she loves so much. I ended up booking my own appointment with Chelsea and she cut my hair with such precision. I had a lot of damaged hair and she gave me a new style that was exactly what I asked her to do. I love it! Bella V is a new Aveda salon located in the Kobe Japanese Steakhouse strip mall in New Tampa (right beside Las Palmas Cafe). It opened its doors one week ago. Bella V is owned by Alicia, a former hairstylist at Balance Salon on Bearrs. Unlike Balance, Bella V is solely focused on hair styling, cutting and waxing. They will not be doing nails or any of the other salon type things that Balance does. I wound up there today because my hairstylist (I feel so weird saying that), Chelsea, also made the jump from Balance Salon to Bella V. When I entered Bella V, the first thing I noticed was the clean, simplistic look. Off to the left of the door is a neatly displayed wall of Aveda products. Here you can purchase your grooming clays and...uh, whatever else Aveda products people are into (sorry, my knowledge starts and stops with the grooming clay). Beyond the wall of products is the check in desk. Stop here and let them know you are ready for your appointment. Passed the check-in desk there are four chairs for cutting hair. Currently, two of them are occupied (one by Chelsea, one be Alicia). Bella V will be bringing two more stylists on board in coming weeks. One is from another salon in the area, the other is a recent graduate of the Aveda Institute. The next area you come to is the sinks for washing hair and the towel warmer. This is probably the most relaxing spot in the house as heat, peppermint and pressure join forces to make your hair and scalp scream with sensory satisfaction. Further back you will find a hair coloring area and employee break room, a drink cart and the bathrooms. How do I know all this detailed information, you ask? Because, when I arrived today, Alicia immediately offered me a tour of the place. After the tour, she gave me some water and I took a seat in the small waiting area until it was my turn to step into Chelsea's chair. As far as the haircut goes, I've been going to Chelsea long enough to know how she rolls (and with my hair, that's always right). She did some pre-cuts, shampooed and massaged it and then finished if off with the actual cut. I would seriously recommend her (as long as you don't cramp things by setting up appointments during the time slots I like). If you are an Alicia fan, Chelsea fan or an Aveda fan, I recommend checking out Bella V. Do so soon because right now they are offering some special deals (20 dollars off) for referrals and referrees. Haircuts this cheap won't last forever. read more

Oh my god yesss! If you are trying to find a fun, modern, salon that is filled with young minds who have exceptional skills at an affordable price you have found it here!!!! They use all aveda products so you know your hair is taken care of. They offer water and coffee on arrival and give you the most luxurious wash with hot towel and scalp massage included. I've been blown away by the service I, as well as my boyfriend, have received here. I came in with exceptionally long hair and asked for a dramatic cut (well, dramatic in my opinion! Lol). I was nervous as I've done this before and it didn't go well but MIKEAH!!!! She is nothing short of amazing. She took my long, mangled, and sad hair and transformed it into bouncy, healthy, picture worthy hair that makes me feel like a brand new gal. She cut my boyfriends hair a while back and she even did well with his thick, curly Puerto Rican hair. She is my go-to girl from now on for both of us. And at $40 for a cut, it doesn't get better. I'm new to the area and had a wonderful experience at Bella V. Finding a new stylist is scary, but I spoke with Chelsea for about 10 minutes before committing and returned for my appointment that evening. Some salons can be stuffy and intimidating, but this salon was warm and inviting. The receptionist gave me a glass of red wine to enjoy as I waited for my appointment- not necessary, but ALWAYS appreciated! I loved the Aveda products available and will definitely be back to purchase some of my own. They smell fantastic and I love how environmentally friendly they are. Chelsea did a great job with my hair and followed all of my requests. I could tell she takes pride in her work and was a joy to chat with as she cut my hair. I will definitely be back! When I arrived, I had my two-year-old with me in a stroller. She was calm, quiet, and watching a movie completely unbothering anyone. The salon itself was nearly empty, with only one other client present. Instead of being welcomed, I was immediately met with a very cold and judgmental attitude from the front desk. I was looked up and down, along with my stroller, and told in a very rude and inflexible manner that children were not allowed and that I would either need to leave or reschedule. As a mother, it is not always easy to find time for self-care, and I made the effort to come in for this appointment. The lack of empathy or basic courtesy was honestly shocking. There was zero attempt to accommodate, problem-solve, or even speak kindly. To make matters worse, I was charged $75 (50% of the service) simply for having to leave despite the fact that the situation could have been handled with basic human decency and flexibility. I do want to note that Desi, the hairstylist, did try to be kind while witnessing the way I was being treated, and I appreciate that. I understand this situation was not her fault. However, the overall customer service and experience are a direct reflection of the business she represents. This was the first time I've ever experienced something like this at a salon. I left feeling embarrassed, dismissed, and frankly, discriminated against for being a mother. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this salon especially to other moms. There are plenty of places that treat clients with respect, kindness, and understanding. This was not one of them.

Damaris is so friendly and personable. She really pays attention to my hair needs and will make recommendations accordingly. I have Alopecia Areata and an Autoimmune Thyroid condition so I deal with hair shedding/fall-out and texture issues from time to time. She has helped to make my hair look healthy, full, and shiny. My needs are usually very simple. Long hair with gray root coverage. Although I did have balayage for several years. It looked really nice, but I use infrared saunas often and it can sometimes be drying to the hair so I've let the balayage grow out since. Whatever your hair needs are, give Damaris a try. You will not be disappointed. They are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

However my stylist Jade had a straightening technique before pin curling to ensure it doesn't fix. This completely solved the frizz issue but unfortunately did not hold curl as well as my hair usually does so I wasn't able to achieve the desired look. I would still go back because the overall experience was great! Just beware of parking - no free parking $4-$10 per hour.

It is a bit hard to…read morelocate, but the building is very nice once you find it and they have a coffee shop (Buddy Brew) inside! The salon itself is small and private with only two hair stylists. The stylists each only take one client at a time so you are always receiving undivided attention. Reid did an amazing job with my keratin treatment! He is very detail-oriented and super friendly. They told me if I did not cancel the day before I would be charged so I needed to hold appointment with my credit card. I got there 15 minutes early and the sign on the door said they were closed. There was a number to call. . When I called that number I was told all the appointments were moved to South Tampa location. Would not have been a problem if they had texted but they did not! I feel like receptionist was trying to gaslight me! She insisted they texted me. They did not! At $4.50 a gallon that was a waste of time and money! They can charge for no shows but screw the customers!Too many choices to put up with their lack of consideration!.

To be honest, I was a little jealous that their new location was getting so much love on their instagram. I felt like the first kid and the new baby was getting all the attention. I understand why! They picked the perfect spot to bring the aesthetic and vibes or GP, but make it Tampa. Alright, the important stuff. The hair. As expected, I got the perfect dry blowout. I love that they used the flat iron technique because it ensures longevity, especially on a warm day. I kid you not, I feel like a new woman when I leave GP. They always listen to what I want and I leave with the exact look I wanted. Waves with straight ends that make me look playful but polished. Can't wait to come back!

Unfortunately, the haircut itself was extremely upsetting for me. I have had bobs before and felt confident going into the appointment. I showed a reference photo and asked for a specific length, but my hair was cut at least 2-3 inches shorter than requested (which is INSANE for a bob) and the result looked nothing like what I asked for. It has now been about 2.5 month (months!!!!), and I still feel genuinely uncomfortable wearing my hair down. Ive been wearing it up worn a ton of hair pins. It's too short to even put into a ponytail, and it's been difficult emotionally to adjust to, especially knowing this wasn't what I consented to. Hair grows back, but that doesn't take away how distressing this experience has been. I feel so awful looking at myself in the mirror... I appreciate how professionally the situation was handled afterward, but I wanted to share my honest experience so others can be very clear and cautious when discussing length, as it can't be undone For reference adding photos of what I asked and a photo of what I got. You can see why I'm still feeling so awful about it and it's been 2.5 months.... how can somebody be so so bad at their job???!!!!
