However my stylist Jade had a straightening technique before pin curling to ensure it doesn't fix. Unfortunately, the haircut itself was extremely upsetting for me. I have had bobs before and felt confident going into the appointment. I showed a reference photo and asked for a specific length, but my hair was cut at least 2-3 inches shorter than requested (which is INSANE for a bob) and the result looked nothing like what I asked for. It has now been about 2.5 month (months!!!!), and I still feel genuinely uncomfortable wearing my hair down. Ive been wearing it up worn a ton of hair pins. It's too short to even put into a ponytail, and it's been difficult emotionally to adjust to, especially knowing this wasn't what I consented to. Hair grows back, but that doesn't take away how distressing this experience has been. I feel so awful looking at myself in the mirror...
