Absolutely love this nail salon. They treat my mother in law daughter and sister in law like family. A definitely recommend this place.
I requested a nail take off/soak off with a manicure and this is what I got.... Very unsatisfied and will never return customer service was mediocre and I would not recommend.
I've been to Bella Vie numerous times with my friends and family, and each time I leave more disappointed than the last. I have alway made appointments the day prior to going and each time I'm still waiting approximately 20-25 minutes to get treated. I love Leann and she has a great attitude and goes above and beyond every visit, but I can't say the same for everyone. I was in yesterday when I got a regular manicure, I'm unsure on who I got, but this woman left some spots where you can see the second layer wasn't fully covering the first layer of polish and my nails were incredibly scratchy. She rushed through my entire manicure and because of that, I will no longer be coming here.
First I want to preface that I regularly get my nails done. Place I was going too was getting lazy and making me wait 45 minutes before they'd even work on my nails even with an appointment. After someone recommended this place, I decided to try it. Let's just say they restored my faith in nail salons. Tammy did an excellent job, listened to exactly what I wanted. Executed well.
ATTENTION LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: this salon is open during COVID-19. As of now, they have sectioned off the front of their store and are ONLY doing services outside (per CA COVID-19 rules). So you may sweat a little, but, honestly, who cares. Also, as far as I know, they have not jacked up their prices. Thank god! I went to another salon that raised their prices by $8 dollars. EIGHT DOLLARS!! Throw some sandals on those talons you call feet and come on down. It's time to tame those cuticles and calluses. Let's take those baby steps to start looking like the humans we once were during the pre-COVID era. Special shout out to Vivy for making my nails look flossy. UPDATE: it looks like there may be a slight up-charge now. I usually get a gel manicure and a basic pedicure and I previously paid $48; now I pay $50. It's only $2, but I want to still mention it since my post discusses prices. I'm not sure where the $2 up-charge is from (e.g. for the gel manicure or basic pedicure). Hope this helps!
Pay close attention if you come here or you will be scammed :-). I came in with my girlfriend and mom and automatically received awkward stares from all the ladies here, I'm assuming because my girlfriend is a masc lesbian. Only my mom and my girlfriend were having their pedicures done, I sat in a chair right next to my girlfriend. The nail lady asked if my girlfriend wanted regular or gel polish, and she said regular (twice, a second time after she tried to sell us the gel after we said regular the first time). I'm on my phone throughout the pedicure, and when I looked up, she was using the UV light on my girlfriend. I was obviously confused, but she was already putting lotion on her feet. So we asked her for the disposable flip flops and she said the polish completely dry. My mom intervened and repeated once again that we wanted regular polish, and she told us that she asked for gel. So she blatantly was saying that ALL 3 OF US were lying. She continued trying to convince us that gel was better even after she tried to call us liars. We asked if she was charging us for gel, and she said yes. She asked if we wanted her to remove it , but we were ready to leave and we didn't want any more services from them. They all spoke amongst themselves about us in their language for a while while I stood at the counter waiting to pay. I was over the situation and they obviously had no interest in resolving anything so I paid the $35 and left. Afterwards, my mom told me that the lady that was doing her nails also tried putting gel on her toes after she asked for regular, but she caught on when she brought out the UV light and had to tell her a THIRD TIME that she wanted regular. They only got my girlfriend because she doesn't know anything about nails. They're overall rude here, and the obviously only care about making money.
Spent $15 and about 40 mins to get acrylics taken off... along with some bruises, cuts, bleeding and skin hanging. Oh and not even all the acrylic is off. I had to go home and file them off by hand myself... i was going to do a gel mani after the take off, but said nevermind, especially after seeing how she rushed everything during my takeoff. I asked for her to be careful with one finger and she still went rough on it, causing me to bleed again. 5 days later i still cannot do anything with my nails because she literally put cuts in the middle of my nail beds which was from her shoving the plastic tip too deep into my nails.
Just got my nails done last friday, not even a week my gel mani is already lifting. They were super busy, but they got me in right away which I appreciate. I got a gel mani/pedi. The ladies were super nice. Im new to the area so this is the one I saw off of yelp. I hate leaving bad reviews but I was just really disappointed that my nails didnt last & the service. I was having a rough day & was hoping to get a lil pampering. They both got done at the same time they were done in about 30 mins which I felt so rushed. I always look forward to the pedi massage even if its just a few mins and the tech literally just wipes lotion on my leg and sent me on my way.
So it was my first time since like highschool prom since I've gotten a full-set done so give me a break on this review, haha! Came in here on a Thursday afternoon and requested to get a full set done. An older man, which was nice by the way, did my nails and communicated with me throughout the process. He took his time and made sure I got the exact shape I wanted. I ended up going with a round almond shape with black polish. The nails itself were all uniformed except one finger that was slightly off center(didn't notice until I left). Honestly it wasn't that noticeable, I myself noticed only because I was bored at work and kept staring at my hands. The only thing that I did not like about this place was some of the ladies here were grouping talking in their native language and clearly talking bad about some of the clients that come here. I also did not like that once you're don't and sent to the drying section you're completely forgotten about and shooed away to clear the chair.

Girl left me with all my nails so slanted and so crooked. All my nails are different length looks so dumb waste of money. Don't go here if unless you go to someone you specifically like. Literally my toes are different lengths . read more

The staff at Bella Vie were all very nice. They were pleasant and accommodating. I felt that a little TLC was need in cleaning .. but, it was not horrible. They also seemed efficient. I would go back again! : -) read more

I had a great experience here. Got a full set white top. Turned out great. I am pretty picky with my nails. He took time. Great service. The whole staff seemed to be joce and caring to the customers. I love my nails. Great prices. Made an appointment, they took me on time. Great nail. Salon I will be back. Thank u Tom and Tracy for taking good care of me Nas my friends nails. Tomorrow I'm getting eyelashes done here. read more

I don't even know why I made an appointment if I was going to be attended almost an hour later! My appointment was at 1 and they attended me 40 minutes after. I was so close in leaving and going to another nail salon. But overall my nails came out nice and i was satisfied with their work and the staff are very friendly with you! For this full set I paid $38 for coffin medium length which is not bad!!! read more

I went in for a full set on a Friday by Dominic and am super disappointed with my nails. He left so much buildup around my cuticles and as I tried to pick and clean them up myself it basically pulled off half of the acrylic. I had gotten a couple referrals to come here so I'm even more disappointed that my nails turned out this way. There's no reason that my nails should look like this after 4 days. read more

Called last minute hoping they could take me. This was after calling three other places and my original place not respecting my appt time so I left after 30 min waiting. They said Yes!, Come in. This was the best nail dip manicure I've received in a long time done by Yen and the pedicure was great too. I was done in one hour. The price was about 15 USD less than what I've been paying in other nail shops in the area. The shop is small but the staff is very professional, curtious and know what they are doing. I'm going back. This is my new place now. read more

Went in again because I needed desperate work done and it was the closest thing to work. This time I made an appointment with Lonnie after seeing her work in photos and she has totally redeemed this place for me! She was amazing and knew what she was doing! I could not love my nails more I've already been receiving compliments at work! THANKS LONNIE! Will be back! read more

Lonnie is great. She's a busy girl so I know I was lucky to get a same day appointment. She's totally professional. In manner and in her work. She is able to go faster (which is great for me, since I go during my lunch break) since she knows exactly what to do. She can shape a nail flawlessly. She puts just the right amount of acrylic. Her polish job is perfect. I am trying to get on track to nicer nails so finding her was great. Found a customer, Lonnie read more

I went yesterday as a walk in and the girl I had was horrible she was very rude and she rushed my nails they are flat and she overcharged me and how I know is because the last time I went I got charged 61 for a full set and my pedicure Buh yesterday I got charged more than half of that with my nails I was just sitting there and she kept pulling my hands and was huffing and puffing then she start speaking in her language like English for real and I showed her I wanted ombré on the board and she finna charge me 50 I said how the board says 40 and she says oh no it's 50 lmao miss me with that so I just got a regular gel full set she was very rude and she wonder why I didn't give her a tip she missed out on that cuz I tip very high read more

I came here on Feb 9th to get my nails done for my birthday. I was helped by a lady who sits in the middle behind the pay station. I've been doing Gel X for the last 3 years and wanted to try this place out. Boy was that a mistake. Gel X usually lasts me about 5 weeks, keep in mind I work from home - the most I do is type. Over the last week as I've showered and washed my hands (not even washing dishes or submerging my hands in water), my nails are popping off like CVS press ons, you know the ones held on by that cheap little tape glue. I called the shop today to complain and was told that I could get them fixed for half the price. Not sure why I even need to pay when they literally have been falling off. What was I supposed to do not bathe or wash my hands to keep these on? Anyways, I will stick to my original nail tech where I spend the same amount and they don't fly off at the touch of water. -Pam read more
Cash only to tip but they will take cards for the service. This is in the Stater Bros plaza. I've been here twice and had two different girls. Both did a great job: took her time, filed my nails perfectly and asked along each step if I were ok with the results. I always get gel and it takes roughly an hour and a half. That includes taking off the old gel. I get a simple design/added touch on every nail which turns out to be $27 after everything + $5-7 tip. I had a broken nail the second time so it was a bit more than that. The workers are really nice and they haven't said anything disrespectful to me. That's great customer service compared to most places! read more
