I moved to NYC a few years ago and still drive the 3.5 hours to Shrewsbury at least once a year to get my hair cut and colored by Katie. Her balayage technique makes my hair look amazing and it grows out perfectly so I can usually make it the full year before coming back for my next visit. (even hairdressers in Brooklyn when I've needed a trim have commented on how nice the color is) The vibes are impeccable and after watching her team work with other clients in such thoughtful ways I'd also trust any one of them to do my hair if Katie was ever unavailable. This…read moretime I had a new lady (to me) who I explicitly told that I wanted a "light cleanup only" multiple times before she started yet she still ruined the thickness of my eyebrows. Her rationale was "I just gave you shape"...I didn't ask for her to shape them. I asked for a simple cleanup. Not sure if I'll be going again but strongly recommend that the salon train their staff to follow customer directions.
