Lemon drop mate iced teas- refreshing
    Stephanie N.

If you are a teas enthusiast or want to get into exploring tea then you came to the right place (or should I say review)! Not only do they offer an assortment of tea, they have different sugars, spices, and pre-packaged tea ingredients for your brewing needs. There's so many adorable animal-shaped tea filters, and the best thing is, they have an in-house tea drink(s) that can be made cold or hot. They have about 75 different teas. There's a jar sample where you can open and smell the aromas of each. I did order a drink and I love how you can choose any flavors for them to make! These are the different teas I ended up buying at this business and I'll give a short rundown on what I think of them: Lemon Drop Mate tea: strongest one with caffeine. Mixture of lemon, green tea and matcha. Hazelnut Cookie Black Tea: sweet almost tastes like a boba drink. Chocolate Chai Tea: it has small chocolate chips with a hint of cinnamon kick to it. They do have candles, but not a whole collection. I liked this place so much that I invited a couple of my friends to meet me to check it out the same day I was there. This is going to be one of my new favorite places to get fresh tea from now on.

This is one of my top spots to shop in Carytown. The store carries a wide variety of spices, teas, and scented salts and sugars. I love their unique spice blends - they seriously have one for everything! - and the helpful staff who can point you towards what you need. Another great part of this place is the tea. You can select any tea from their massive collection and have it brewed (hot or iced) to-go! So much better than a coffee shop's tea. I love all the gifts here as well, perfect for a housewarming gift. I stop here every time I'm around, and can't wait to go back for some new teas (though I do love the Victorian Chai) next time.

Amazing selection of teas and spices. This will be my new go to for loose teas in Richmond.

I have no idea what that means, but they have good sandwiches. What to get: A Prosciutto sandwich with Fresh Mozzarella added, maybe What else: Expect an upcharge to add Fresh Mozz How to improve: Don't upcharge so much for Fresh Mozz (sigh) Nick's is a little run-down grocery store which sort-of feels like walking into a check-cashing shop or an urban convenience store that just happens to have a wonderful old-school NY-NJ style Italian deli inside. The deli itself is great, and makes a lot of awesome sandwiches for decent prices. As I said, I don't like the weird upcharges for certain ingredients, but so be it. It makes the prices of a sandwich soar from decent to ridiculous. The sandwiches aren't altogether authentic Italian NY-NJ style, but they are very good. I loved the parts of it that I had fresh, however when I had the rest of the sandwich a little later it had gotten extremely squidgy and soggy because they use a regular loaf of bread rather than anythng hard or Italian. Again, makes it less authentic but still very tasty. Despite these remarks, I haven't had a sandwich this good in the Richmond area before, so you should give it a try. And if it were Niche Produce, then they'd only sell unusual and hard to get hipster vegetables and sandwiches. Whereas if it wer Nix Produce, it would close down soon. And if it were Knickers Produce then I would have torn them down a lot more quickly and intensely than I did in this review.

Everything here is almost always in-stock, and I've been buying their fresh fish and meat for that long, too: it has never disappointed me. He appeared to be in his 60s and commented that I had "breasts but no ass." It was completely unsolicited, inappropriate, and perverted. I had not talked to him so I guess he assumed I wasn't fluent in the language. What makes this especially concerning is that this was said by an employee while I was simply going about my business as a customer. I could easily be around the same age as his granddaughter, which makes the comment even more disturbing. No customer should have to be subjected to sexual comments or degrading remarks about their body. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the behavior of the men working in the back. I have frequented this place since I was a child, which makes this experience especially disappointing and unsettling. One plus is they have good vegetable options. Another down side like most people say, a lot of their non-perishables are expired. The staffing is rude, if you say hi with a smile you are 97% of the time greeted with silence and ambiguity.
