I usually go to S&K Eyebrows just across the street, but my mom used to come to Bella's and never had any issues, plus they were a little bit cheaper. I made an appointment the night prior for 11:55, get there right on time and say I have an appointment to the receptionist at the front, and she points me to Soni, who's the second to last chair. The whole time, Soni was pretty untalkative which I don't really mind per se, after all I'm really just there to get my brows fixed and leave, and she doesn't necessarily owe me a conversation. However, I just got the feeling that she was annoyed to be there. Towards the end, she sighed and told me to told my left eyebrow skin for the second time and her tone sounded upset when she did. But this is also where things went wrong. She goes over my left eyebrow for the second time and the whole time I was thinking, "Man this really hurts, my pain tolerance must be low." Because it felt like she was going over the same spot quite harshly. I figured I just had a couple of stubborn hairs she couldn't get. She showed me my brows in the mirror afterwards and I didn't see any issues at first so I just muttered an "okay thanks" and went to pay without tipping her (which I felt badly about at first, but only at first.) I went out to my car and looked in my mirror to dust the hairs off my face, and some skin under my left eyebrow was taken off, which stung a little bit. I thought about going back in and complaining, but I also work in customer service and I know that most likely, they're either going to offer me a free service for next time, or say there is nothing they can do and apologize. If it was going to be a free service, I wouldn't really want to come back. They still got my $13 but at least I didn't tip. The only reason I am giving Bella's 2 stars and not one is because I'd still say Soni didn't do a bad job overall; when my skin heals I'm looking forward to how much easier it'll be to fill in my brows since she cleaned them up so nicely. I'll probably just pay a little extra for S&K next time, sorry Bella's. read more

I usually like to do my own brows, but I was having a really difficult time shaping them so I decided it was to come here. The staff was very friendly and helped me with cleaning and shaping my brows. My mom was with me and decided to get hers done for the first time. They walked her through the process and helped her with her concerns of cleaning them up but not over doing them as she has very little. I thought the price was fair at $11 and totally worth the the time and effort it was going to take me. Upon reading Paul B's review I thought I could count on Bella' Threading Salon for a quick eyebrow clean up. The prices seem reasonable and the customers seem satisfied. Unfortunately I left beyond disappointed. I came by on a chaotic Friday night where I signed in and waited in confusion. The workers were too busy chit chatting with their friends or family. I was told to go to the chair as my threading specialist continued her conversation... Ahh yes... this conversation continued WHILE she was threading my eyebrows... She was clearly distracted!! It was incredibly irritating... Not to mention this little boy was all running around and jumping on the chair next to me. This was beyond the most unprofessional threading experience I have ever endured... To make it worse... once she was done... she asked me how I liked it. Truth be told... I didn't like it at all. There were spots where i felt like she messed up my eyebrows and one strand where it was sticking out of nowhere... In response to her question I mentioned that one hair that bothered me. Ohh too bad she wasn't listening... WHY WOULD YOU ASK ME A QUESTION AND NOT PAY ATTENTION WHEN I'M TELLING YOU THE ANSWER... So I had to repeat myself. To make it even more annoying, she suggests no one else would notice at a different angle than me. Ugh I DON'T CARE IT BOTHERS ME! Then she asked if I wanted to trim it... I was like, wouldn't it grow back the same way? And she was like... yeah? At this point I was so annoyed I just wanted to get out of there. My first time Blanca threaded my brows and they came out amazing! Since she is off Monday's I opted for the next available person. HUGE MISTAKE!! Almanori did my brows and although I asked for a clean up, I left with both eyebrows looking completely different in shape! She went too high up on both and added an arch to one brow!!!! My brows are usually pretty straight and thick. There is no way that she saw what she did and thought it was ok. Now I will be filling them in for the next month or so while they hopefully grow back. My sister also got her brows done by her and was also unsatisfied with the outcome. I'm extremely disappointed and probably will never be back. My service definitely should have been free! read more

Holy moly! I haven't had my eyebrows done since February and decided that it was time I cleaned them up. My usual brow girl still isn't open so I decided to try a new place. After intensive yelp reviews and research I found Bella. It was close to my parents home so I decided to try them out. I book an appointment with Aman. She didn't say much when I sat on the chair of which I watched and it looked like she took a dry paper towel and wiped it down after the girl before me. Not the cleanest but I wasn't in the mood to get riled up over it but thinking back, I should've said something. Clean ya damn chairs people! After much threading I look in the mirror and I literally wanted to cry. SHE WIPED OUT ALL MY EYEBROWS! It brought me back to when I was in high school and going through a chola phase with some friends and thought the thin eyebrow look was the coolest thing ever. I literally said "oh" after I saw them in the mirror she handed me. Instant regret. I should've just waited for my usual brow girl. I even feel guilty now for cheating on her. I thought this is what I get for being impatient. Well on the other hand, I plan on sheltering in placing until they grow back and I have much explaining to do for when I return to my brow gal. I work in the area and I decided that I wanted to get my brows done usually I have my go to place , unfortunately with time I wasn't able to go there so I jump on my maps I look for places to get my brow threaded and Bella threading salon pops up, so I walk in for my first time my first impression I love the place! They had good music playing , did not have to wait long and I was assisted by Alexa and let me tell you she was very pleasant really nice made me feel very comfortable and what my favorite thing was is that she has a very light and gentle hand I had no pain whatsoever usually when I get my brows done I do get snagged here and there ( I have been getting my brows threaded for more than five years) .Even though this is out of my way I will definitely be returning I do love how my brows turned out I will definitely recommend for anybody to come here and ask for Alexa she is very welcoming and you will not be disappointed!!! I've been here twice now and both times had Soni do my eyebrows, she's super sweet and super fast but does such a great job. I'm giving 4 stars because the prices are a little higher than the average threading shop, and even with an appointment there are wait times. But because I really do like how my eyebrows end up, I don't mind the waiting--and trust me you won't either, it's totally worth it. It's just something to keep in mind for new clients. All employees wear masks, and they wipe the chairs down after each appointment. I also appreciate that they have a customer restroom -- a lot of establishments don't due to covid-19, but this is really convenient for us who stay hydrated or over hydrated. read more

Went in on a Saturday morning around 11, I think she had 4 ppl ahead of me but I didn't wait long (without appt) about 15-20 mins tops. She's worth waiting for though! The last few times I've been here have been unpleasant. The staff lacks professionalism. They open at 10 and are not even here at 10. Last time I was here, someone had an appointment and that particular staff wasn't even coming in that day. At my most recent visit, the tech was 20 minutes late for her first appointment. I now live in Montclair but I don't mind the drive. I've been going here for a couple years now for eyebrow and upper lip threading. I recommend this salon and have had a great experience with *almost* all of the the artists. I love the flexibility to come to this salon and have a certain quality of care guaranteed by any artist. This works for my schedule as I often aren't able to always come back at the same time. My favorite artists are Patty, Blanca, and Teresa. Time: Expect to wait up to 20 minutes during lunch time and after typical work hours. Don't come by in a rush. Sometimes it's immediate service and sometimes it is not. Cleanliness: I love the emphasis on cleanliness here. Ever artists sanitizes their hands before touching your face and offers you hand sanitizer too. Their space is clean, decorated well, and has plenty ofseating for those waiting. NOTE: I HAVE had two artists here that over threaded my brows and left them too thin. It wasn't anything horrible but not ideal. Definitely discuss what you want for your eyebrows before beginning. Also, I do suggest sticking to your people that you like if you can. Pro tip: their jewelry rotated and they always have something cute! Nice extra bonus! I usually NEVER write reviews, but this is just totally unacceptable!!! i have always had nice, thick brows, and have never had a problem with my brows... and this lady did them AWFUL. WHY ARE THEY TWO DIFFERENT BROWS??? i went today and i got the lady with the third chair from the window of the main entrance. i usually go to teresa but she wasn't there and she always does my brows beautiful. but today wasn't the case, i told her no shape, i just want clean up. nope, she completely took all of the hair off of my right brow on-top. and then arched my left one more???? i feel like i want to cry because this is the worst my brows have ever looked. she was the only one there and when she started on my right brow people began to walk in and she began to rush, resulting in such terrible service!! if you go here, make sure you do not go to the lady with the glasses... i have to grow my eyebrows out now for months because of this, i'm so sad about this. read more
