I've been coming to see Jessica at S and K for some time now, and I haven't found anyone who does my eyebrows as well as she does, so I find myself driving from SB to Rancho just to see her. Aside from her skills, I appreciate how friendly and personable Jessica and everyone at the salon are. The lobby was very busy right after my appointment, so I felt like it wasn't fair to those waiting to say my complaints in person. I also feel like it's good to wait before making a final judgement call and see if the work looks better in different angles/lighting, but by the time I got home and looked in a proper mirror, I decided it is fair to say this was not a job well done. The shaping is very uneven and my requests for "not too thin" were ignored. I'm very disappointed considering that I've been here before and had good work done previously. My left eyebrow was thinned out way too much and it looks way higher compared to my right one. I also said to the brow artist: "I like them shaped, *but not too thin*" and these are very thin compared to what my starting point was. Not much I can do to fix these other than wait for them to grow out again because I do not want to go any thinner just so they look even. My eyebrow hair is already quite sparse and hair thinning is a big concern of mine, so I'm very upset the artist treated my brows as if they're thick and full because they are obviously not that full to begin with. read more

Idk what to say but I'm so disappointed and bothered. I've had very thick nice brows my whole life and always ask for a simple clean up. today that's what I asked for and felt like I communicated that well to her. first off she was extremely rough. I've been getting my brows done since I was 11 & today was the first time I walked out with red bumps all around my brows. it was so painful. 2nd, she cut and took off so much of my hair I'm shocked!!!!! They are appointment based and I should have read the reviews that said they were but luckily they took me in as it was my first time there. My regular eyebrow lady is closed and my eyebrows were in desperate need to be done. Misha did my eyebrows and she did a great job! It's so hard to find an eyebrow place when you're picky with your eyebrows but luckily she did amazing. She even gave me like a little massage which she asked if it was okay first. Fast and quick service when I came in on Christmas Eve. They were pretty busy with a line already forming in the doorway seating area. Lucky for me there were three ladies working, so I only had to wait a few minutes. My person listened to me when I said to keep my brows as full as possible and also pointed out that one brow was longer than the other. So happy she fixed them for me! My friend and I came here for a weekend to get our brows done. The salon is pretty small with only 2 chairs. When we got there, we were immediately seated. There were only 2 ladies working there. My brows turned out great. It was only $9 (without tip) and I am pretty satisfied. I wouldn't mind coming here again if I am ever in the area.
