Me and the stylist had decided on going through with a color correction since i was originally going to go blonde from brown and had red color in my hair. They were super accommodating when I had to reschedule because of jury duty to 7/17. The issues came when I called ahead of time (6/25) if i should stick to the colour correction since I had changed my mind from going bleach blonde to something close to my natural with chunky highlight. The receptionist gave me her number and asked me to send her photos of my current hair and an inspo which i did during our call at 2:02 pm. She said the owner was out of town and wanted to consult her first. I had to take the time off of work way in advance so I was hoping they would call me if they cancelled. The day before I call and the part time receptionist finds out my appointment was cancelled and no one knows why. I am slightly frustrated because again I took time off work and no one seems to know about why it's canceled or anything about the photos I had sent. She offered to rebook me and then go find out but being wary of scheduling more time off without a service I just asked if she could find out first and then call me back. I never received a call back. They were nothing but kind to me but I just felt like as a new client they weren't too interested in doing my hair so I will be going somewhere else. Just a shame because I liked the place before but I feel like its more effort than it's worth when it seems so disorganized.

She took her time to understand my hair and what I like. She matched my highlights perfectly and added dimension with low lights. Then she went thru how I can add volume with products and drying techniques. She was not pushing the salon products at all and suggested how to best use products I already have. She always takes the time to listen to what I'm looking for. I always leave the salon feeling so pretty :) I can genuinely say I've never been disappointed with my hair. I have been going to Great Clips for years and like that this location is a few minutes from home…read more Their prices are reasonable, friendly staff, and I can check in and view wait times on the Great Clips app. I add my name to the list on the app before I drive over and by the time I arrive there is no wait. This Great Clips is also open both Saturday and Sunday--many others are closed on Sunday. I typically get my yearly chop and have liked the results. Quality and speed of cut depends on the hairstylist. I never ask for anything crazy; few inches off and layering to either my shoulders or beneath my chin. One of my hairstylist gave me great advice on how to care for my hair because it was so dry. She didn't sell me any product and simply told me not to wash my hair everyday and use very little conditioner. My hair looks ten times healthier. The staff is always welcoming. The salon can get busy on certain times throughout the year like holidays and back to school with kids getting haircuts.
