Real "relaxing!" Getting a Charley horse in the flank area now, as she proceeds to ask how long and cut off- still in Pedi chair. That sucked bc she went short and filed short-er. They finally tell me to go sit at nail station. The older lady is flying past me with her coat. Still 1.5hr open. Gilligan is now under her desk, asking me for my feet to do additional clear coat. Spoiler alert! Toes messy, doesn't meet cuticle and goopy, sloppy dry. I ask for a whole repolish before I am paying. A guy, he understood the very simple assignment just fine. Gilligan confirms I want pink and white Ombre. She hands me a book. Now, I will admit that my previous nail folks just knew me/my style, I have gotten Ombre since (2019) before it was even ombre! So I never had to choose anything, shades of pink, etc. I didn't want to choose wrong. Didn't matter bc she proceeded to cover the whole nail in the pink gel powder. Then white gel powder layer OVER THE PINK. This gives big, chunky nails, bc it is NOT ombre! Ombre is a SKILLED SERVICE, mesh the colors together. This is not paint with watercolors! I am so tired of these places cheapening service now bc it's just an era for nails right now. Charge extra fees and try to dress up the BASIC services you are actually getting! And don't tell me you have time for services and then have your employees running around the room and bombarding me while I sit in my "relaxing spa and massage chair!" And the reviews all day the same about the prices and the way they bill/treat customers- so I will just end my rant. Jus saying "CONVIENENCE FEE?! $3?!""SHAPING $5 ?! " But another sign of the times I guess. ‍

The owner is AMAZING!! She couldn't in good conscience, just do my eyebrows and send me on my way. It's been yearssss since I've had a spray tan, but with travel coming up (and the fact that I've…read morehardly seen the sun this winter), it was time. I've been to GADIS for facials, but never a spray tan so this was a first! Tiffany welcomed me and led me down to their spray room on the lower lever. Because it had been so long, I had a few questions, to which she answered: (1) I could shower after a few hours, (2) spraying my face was optional, and (3) the tan should last roughly a week depending on shower/scrubbing. Disclaimer: you need to be comfortable being completely unclothed for this experience lol. I was given a hair net and directed to use the provided lotion on areas like fingers, elbows, and knees to prevent any tan build up. The whole process took about fifteen minutes and I was definitely no longer looking pasty white by the end of it. It's weird but normal to feel a bit sticky for a while afterwards, but once you rinse off in the shower (water only for the first post-tan shower), you feel much better. All in all, recommend!
