The staff acknowledged the issue and told me I could reschedule with my preferred wax specialist. Unfortunately, I had to travel out of town before I was able to do so. To date, I have not received a refund or credit for the remaining balance of the service. Additionally, I was treated disrespectfully throughout the process. The director, Khadijah contacted me and, rather than working to resolve the matter professionally, attempted to argue with me about my concerns. She initially offered me a promotional service at another location to make up for the experience, but later withdrew that offer, stating she could not honor it. It appeared that the decision was made out of spite rather than as part of a fair resolution. Overall, I am disappointed with how this situation was handled. I expected professionalism, accountability, and appropriate customer service, but instead experienced poor communication, disrespect, and an unresolved issue.

I was a couple of minutes early for my 12:15 appointment. When I went back to the pedicure area, Chuck had another client in the chair and it was apparent he wasn't close to being finished with her. There didn't appear to be another tech to be able to do my pedicure. I pay good money for their services, and I am a generous tipper. Yet, no one seemed to care that I was going to have to wait at least 30 minutes. This was a Sunday afternoon, and they open at noon. I had received a confirmation from the salon for my appointment time. WHY would you start a client, knowing you have a fairly regular client coming in in 15 minutes? I live in Lexington, and I drove 25 minutes to get to the salon. I make appointments for a reason...I have other things to do. I do not show up late for them. First they had to remove my previous manicure from my nails, which took a while but I did not mind because I'm trying to keep my nails healthy. My cuticles grow fairly fast, so they also needed to be trimmed, and during this, my manicurist nicked my cuticles on numerous fingers- causing them to bleed. The manicurist was aware of it and apologized throughout the appointment. The manicure also wasn't the cleanest job I've had either. She was still very apologetic for my cuticles, and gave me a coupon for my next visit to make it right, acknowledging that this is not a normal experience. Given all of this, I still really liked the service and would still consider going back.
