I specifically informed Jason Reitsma at this location that i had a flat and i performed a roadside patch/plug, its marked with a sharpie and needs patched. It also, needs an oil change. He assured me it wouldn't be a problem and would be done. 23 minutes later, my truck was completed And ready to go. He said everything was performed as requested. Ashley took my payment and provided me with a receipt which noted "flat repair", amongst other items. But my tire was never pulled from my truck and no repair was performed. Ashley noted "no leaks were detected, so they decided not to patch it". Jason made sure i got that Military discount though... 20241118, 1817-1903 EST. I wish I could give them 10 stars!!! I've had an ongoing issue with all four of my tires always being low and having to add air to them. I took it to the company where I bought them (no need to name them) and they wanted to charge me $20 a tire to address the issue. With winter coming I had to resolve my tire issue. I was prepared to buy 4 new tires, and I almost did at Discount Tire!!!! Thankfully, I called Belle Tire on a Saturday and Joe and suggested I just come in so they can take a look at my tires. They helped me right away and told me that my tires still had life and that they could address my issue of having to constantly put air into my tires. Joe was awesome and provided me updates. I am happy to say... they resolved my tire issue! They could have sold me 4 new tires but instead they resolved my issue and charged me nothing!!!! It would be nice if the employees actually pretended like they cared about the customer. I have brought all my cars to the Belle Tire Petoskey Michigan and they were always fantastic never had a problem, I bought a pair of high-end Michelin tires at the Petoskey store and I was traveling to Grand Rapids so I stopped at the Grandville Belle Tire because my tire kept going low on my new tires and they treated me like crap like I was bothering them. Seems they omit bad reviews they are too dishonest and embarrassed to make right. However they can't control everyone and every review site, so sad. Terry has been a manager with Belle for a long time, and 25 years ago I WAS buying tires from him, unfortunately over time the quality of service and honesty has dropped so low and the to the level of flat out lying excessively about mechanical work has left me no alternative other then to shop at a more reputable business. I had a unfamiliar shaking in my front end. Was told it was a sticking brake caliper and they repaired the $30 part for $300. No problem, except that wasn't the problem. They were upset I wouldn't do a $100 alignment on front end that was only out 1 degree! Wouldn't have made any difference with the shaking. Then I returned saying the caliper replacement didn't help the shaking. Please Look at it again. They said Now that the tires were Totally Shot! Yes, the same ones they wanted me to spend a $100 alignment on? I said if that's only your theory so putting the front tire on the back should pinpoint if it's a tire issue. They were pissed off on a dead business day bothering to help solve a problem they claimed but didn't have the knowledge, expertise, or honesty to solve. Turns out it took me 5 minutes at home to look under the car and see that the front CV AXLE CARRIER BEARING had come completely torn apart. At the same time the wheels I had just had cleaned prior to my visit had been intentionally scratched up with deep and serious groves. It's just terrible how customers are treated if not spending money on unnecessary work at Belle tire. I didn't bother going back to this dishonest business and will stop bringing in the dozen plus cars I maintain also. History is same with Belles Alpine store ( where Terry used to manage) I was told an extra $100 on an alignment because it had a difficult bolt to remove. This after they were working on it. I had just put struts on this vehicle and the bolt they claimed was hard to get at took me 2 minutes to put a wrench on it. Total liars there also and prices for mechanical work are even higher than a dealer. I don't advertise I'm a certified mechanic when others are working on my cars. :) Note: BELLE Responded as any dishonest corporation would. Updating my review: The people from Belle reached out to me and were helpful in researching my tire issue. I was told that no notes had been made on my account and was provided a Belle Tire gift card. They were very nice. A week after this, my tire leaked again. I went back and was told the seal had not been properly applied when the new tire was put on. I added a star because they tried to help, but I still cannot really recommend this place for tires. read more

Cannot say enough about how well we were treated by Tim. This guy went above and beyond for us, searching for deals- calling me back and keeping in touch on new udeas he had on ways to help us. I was honestly impressed. I wont go anywhere else for my car needs in Grand Rapids. After finding us a deal on my wife's car, I just HAPPENED to get a flat tire on the way to drop her car off to them. I had a great experience here. I had dinged my hub cap on my tire that I had just had put on a week before at another Belle Tire location. A guy named Don who was working the desk when I walked in was just absolutely top notch and provided excellent customer service. He addressed my issue, came right outside to look it over, was honest, fair and provided really thorough feedback. I absolutely walked away with peace of mind about my car. Sad to see a tire shop not be able to perform one of the most basic services in the industry. I brought in a new set of tires mounted on rims and lug nuts to be swapped onto my truck. After they finally took my vehicle into the service bay, they informed me that the tires would "not work" on my truck. I asked why, they claimed they did not fit. They rushed me out the door saying they didn't work, but not what part of them was leading to the need of possible modifications to the truck. The tires I wanted installed are slightly oversized, but hardly a difference compared to what was already there. I left assuming I needed more ground clearance, so I went and ordered a leveling kit. Long story short, when I got to a place where I could personally see what was going on by installing the tires myself, they bolted right on. No clearance issues, or rubbing on the truck anywhere. If you cannot rely on Grandville Belle Tire to be a convenient business to mount and balance tires to save you time and hassle, then what can they be any good for? Want something done right or at least get an answer to a problem? Do it yourself or find someone you trust. read more

I couldn't be happier with the overall experience. My father passed away and I was left with his 02 wrangler. I had new tires put on the rear and unfortunately due to the lift of the vehicle the rear tires had different offsets which either belle tire or myself knew. After the tires were installed one of the tires rubbed and popped less than 25 miles after installed. I talked to Anthony directly trying to come to a resolution because I didn't feel i should be responsible for the tires being replaced incorrectly. I explained that money was tight especially following my fathers passing and I couldn't afford to replace the tire at that time. He could have told me sorry about your luck, kick rocks or any of the above. Instead he read my body language and had sympathy for me and offered to replace the tire and mount and balance it for free. Within a couple of days the new tire came in, got mounted and balanced and the check for the tire was received. I honestly can't thank you guys enough and will forever use belle tire. read more

I brought my car in yesterday morning for tires.. I had my two grandsons with me. 4 and 2. I brought there tablets with me, and the 4 year old usually is crazy, truly thought I was gonna be dead by the time they got done. They told me an hour n 1/2. I swear they were done in 1/2 the time. I somehow ended up with a large bolt in my tire about 15 minutes from closing on a weekday night and these guys went above and beyond to get me back on the road. They stayed late and were very happy to help and very courteous despite me keeping them late and away from their families later than they should have been. When here for a "free" Uber vehicle inspection. They told me I needed both front lower control arms, both front stabilizer bar links were loose, and my left tie rod end was wobbling all over. They wanted $398 apiece for the control arms. First of all, I found the highest retail price in town for a lower control arm was less than $200. I found the same padded prices for the stabilizer bar links and the tie rod end. Including labor, the estimate was just over $1400. Took the car to an ASE Certifed Master Machanic and found out the ball joints were fine, and that the sway bar links were fine and that it needed the tie rod end and an alignment. He did it for $200. NEVER GET WORK DONE HERE!! read more

Excellent customer service! Took my car for a simple job (replace pressure sensors, I brought my own parts). They found another major issue and took the time to fix it and I only paid for the part they replaced... Which they didn't even carry a tech ran out to find it.... Fortunately belle tire will b sending me two replacement valve stem covers that they neglected to replace yesterday when I got two tires mounted and balanced even after I had asked the "manager" to inspect the work done which he said he did but after a phone call today he said he must have missed. Hopefully the covers will b sent as promised? I asked him to inspect as in times past I've had other issues w tire dealers, i.e., not replacing hubcaps properly which one subsequently fell off and had to b replaced. I feel the service technician had at least two opportunities to make sure the covers were replaced, one when the two tires were mounted on the rims and one when the tires and rims were mounted on the car. Finally the envelope arrived today I think some three weeks later. Letter was torn I assume in mailing process, no valve stems enclosed read more

Belle Tire.. If I could give you zero stars or less I would. You fail to realize we all have the internet now. I did my homework on tires and went to Belle to have them ordered for me. You can order yourself but it seems to end up cheaper and less of a hassle getting them mounted if you just have them do it. The guy at the counter told me there were only a few options for my truck because my rims are an inch larger than most trucks:/ I have had a couple other unfavorable experiences with this place. This visit will be the last time I will attempt to give them the benefit of the doubt. This store is just to much. PS:I went down the road to discount and got exactly what I wanted. Their service was quick. I got a flat tire from driving over a pothole (just michigan things!) and i came in the next day with a donut which is normally stored in my trunk underneath, where it fits properly. Once they were finished replacing my tires, they just threw the donut in the back trunk without putting it back properly. I wouldn't complain but I hear it every time I drive and I'm quite a small girl so I can't lift the tire myself or try and fix it. Overall they were nice and timely, just wish they would have done their job properly. read more

I have gotten tires from them twice and go in the get the free rotation and have had other tire work done as far as changing wheel sensors and fixing a leak in the tire. Sometimes it can take a while to get your car in and serviced but they talk to you in a respectful way and not like just another work order. read more
