    Ordered a remanned 5.4l engine, from Accurate, on January 14th. Got it approximately a month later…read more(we had to pick it up from the shipping company because their transfer company would only deliver to us if they had a full load coming to our area - we prepaid for liftgate service). This engine was for a customer so we needed it sooner, rather than later. Unpacked it only to find that Accurate had put the wrong cam on it. We contacted Lanny, the owner at accurate, and he told us to invoice him for swapping the cam off of the core engine to the remanned engine, which we did. The core engine was shipped back to Accurate and received by them on March 26th (we had to deliver it to the shipper for the same reason as stated above - again we prepaid for liftgate service). Between March 26th and April 28th we were calling and sending texts and emails, to Accurate asking for the status of our core refund, liftgate refunds, and payment of our invoice. On April 28th Miranda emailed us (evidently Brittany had been "let go."). She said that a credit memo had been issued to us on March 29 and wanted to know if we had received the refund. We had not received it. I sent her a reply to ask if the refund included all of the items we were owed money for.... $350 for the core, $25 for the pallet return, $250 for the cam swap, and $150 for the liftgate charges that we did not utilize, as we picked up from, and dropped off the engine, at the Diversified Transer and Service Warehouse. So we should have gotten a total of $775. To date I have received no further communication from Accurate Engines, despite several phone calls (no one answers and voicemail boxes are full), texts that are never read, and emails that go unanswered. As far as we know, the engine that we put in the customer's vehicle is still running. We've had no complaints to the contrary. We shall see if that changes in the next few months. We ordered a 7.3l diesel engine from Accurate in 2023 that was dropped off of a shippers truck and broken, so we had to wait for a replacement. That engine order, engine replacement, core return, and refund process went pretty smoothly aside from the extra wait time getting the replacement engine. At this point we are not hopeful that we will ever see our refund, but you can be sure that we will never order another engine from Accurate Engines, and we would advise others to avoid them, as well.

    Same story as others. Sent a bad engine painted to look nice. It had timing wrong, wrong gasket…read moreset, bent valves, no compression. picked up my core and the bad engine, then sent the same engine back still with bent valves. DO NOT give this company any money. Run Away. You can call 100 times an no one will answer, mailboxes are full, texts go unanswered. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my entire life. The only people that will answer the phone is sales.

After my Honda…read moreRidgeline, leased from Serra, and was completed after three years, I turned the leased vehicle back into Serra of Grandville, on April 17, 2026. The leased vehicle was in pristine, mint condition -- spotless inside and out -- and had over 5,000 miles remaining under the lease mileage allowance. I even left them nice leather key fob covers with the turn-in, and also some extra perks that I probably shouldn't have -- I.e. all season mats etc that I paid extra for... --At the dealership's instruction, I left my license plates with them because they promised to handle proper disposal. That never happened. Because the plates were never removed or surrendered. Two months later, I am receiving out-of-state toll notices from Illinois for a car I no longer own, drive, or control. Clearly, someone at, Serra Honda, dropped the ball! They seem to excel at wasting customers time and money. When I tried to resolve this matter, Monday June 22 at approximately 6:30PM with, Johnathan Yaklin, who identified himself as the preowned cars manager, who was incidentally most unhelpful, not to mention, completely passed the buck. He went so far as to claim that "Serra Honda" somehow did not take possession/ownership of the vehicle, and that I essentially just "dropped the car off" and they did me a huge favor, letting me use the dealership as a "transitional parking lot." --That is not only false, it is one of the most unacceptable things I've ever heard from a business. I am extremely disappointed and very unhappy with this entire experience. I delivered a flawless car, well under the mileage limit, and trusted the dealership to handle a basic lease-return task in good faith. Instead, I've been met with lies, blame-shifting, and outright bad faith. I put this right up there with a left rear "brake hose repair they couldn't resolve in a reasonable amount of time either. Serra/(Honda), all the same entity, even know they try to hide behind different departments of the same entity for strategic accountability/ reasons and manipulation. This place couldn't even produce a simple little piece of plastic tubing hose, on a brand new vehicle, under full manufacturer warranty, that left the vehicle and me stranded, and unable to drive the car for three months. Mind you, while I still had to make the hefty car payments, including insurance, hence, why Serra, received a vehicle back with 5k less miles than they deserved under the lease contract of 30k miles. Much to my loss on the deal, all said and done. However, they never did compensate me for that that loss on the deal, but we'll save that for another review/complaint. Needless to say, if you value your "hard earned money and time" don't walk, run from this dealership, and never look back!
