They were not willing to take any responsibility for a significant lapse of customer care. They were unwilling to rectify the damage to a brand new trailer caused by their negligence.

stay away from this place!!! these guys are grimy lying cheats!! i bought a set of used tires for $275 and had two flats the next morning!! upon inspection, i noticed a large gouge out of the sidewall of 2 of the tires. these tires should never have been installed on a vehicle and were total junk. when i brought the car back to return the tires, i noticed my old junk tires on the rack for resale!! i insisted on a refund but they would only concede to "replace" the two bad tires. when i got home, i checked the inside of the tires and all they did was switched the gouged side of the tires to the inside!! these guys are shady characters and can't be trusted!!! stay away!! read more

Scott at Midwest Tire just made our weekend. After buying a used car I cut a tire before my wife could ever ride in the car. I stopped at Midwest and talked with Scott. The tires are a non stock size at any local dealers and needed to be ordered which we did. They came in today and am I ever happy I listened to Scott. The ride is fantastic. The other neat thing is that Scott found a used tire that I could use as my wife and I could use our new car for the holiday weekend. Now that is going above and beyond in my book. Overall, the customer service here was not bad however, their quality of service has dropped while prices go up! Fall of 2023 while switching to snow tires, they informed me I would need 20! lug-nuts replaced (keep in mind, Amy and Chuck's is the only place I had been in 2 years working on my tires). I politely declined. Today, I went in to get my snow tires off and my old tires put back on. The price went up $20! I politely asked if they could put new bags on the tires when they put them back in my car because I store them myself. Once again, I was told I need 20 lug-nuts replaced, and declined. Upon leaving, I noticed the tires appeared to be just tossed in the back of my Jeep with the same ripped up bags. I also noticed there was black scuff marks on the inside roof of my car from the tires. So I spent 30 mins when I got home scrubbing this off. I heard good things and that's why I returned for 2 years to Amy and Chuck's but after today, I unfortunately will being taking my business elsewhere if they are going to continue to raise prices and quality of service is going down/careless.

I want to say they told me they'd look at the car Tuesday, but didn't look at it until the end of Wednesday. It's possible I'm confused on that point, since I called some other mechanics first. Once they got the car in, they did the work right away. The woman working the customer side of things was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Working with her made everything easy to manage. Complaints: - They for some reason "had to use a Denso" starter, which added a large amount to the final cost, and of course was marked up after that. Not sure why they needed to use a Denso, or why a remanufactured part cost more than twice the new parts at rockauto. - Bigger complaint: Looks like they used a remanufactured part, and no one asked or mentioned. So not only did I pay too much for a starter, but I thought I'd at least be getting a new one. - They replaced the air filter without asking and without naming it in the quote I was given over the phone. So another 20 bucks for something I could have ordered off Amazon and put in myself in 30 second. At least the filter was only about 4 bucks more through them than Amazon is charging during COVID, but it's about twice what I paid last time. It's really the principle of the thing. It's possible this stuff was just communication issues. I don't know why they "had to use a Denso", for instance, but also didn't ask about it. Because I had dropped the car off to get checked out, it's possible the air filter was something that should have been mentioned, but due to the nature of phone calls, it just slipped through the cracks as the woman was looking at the quote, and when I gave the go-ahead, the mechanics just did what I supposedly approved over the phone. So look, I have some concerns and some questions, but overall I'm guessing the work was done well. Using a remanufactured Denso means they probably made sure to use the "right" part even if it wasn't the cheapest. And the price (make sure you go on their website and print coupons first, and mention them before you make payment) and service are leaps and bounds better than what the local Toyota dealer offers. Besides, if they do a better job than most mechanics, it's worth paying a bit more to make sure it's done right. I'll probably come back here for the next thing that comes up, and hopefully next time there won't be any surprises or questions.

Had my car in for an AC repair and oil change (using a jug of Mobil1 oil and a filter I provided). They overfilled the oil (used entire jug, vs. filling and checking). I asked why. The response was 'we filled it to the specs'; I pointed out that it never takes the full 5.1 quarts after a change; I've never needed more than 4.5 to get the dip stick level right. He then said that my dip stick was the wrong part and therefore inaccurate... not true. (I even checked the dipstick part to verify it was the right one.) I also called later and found that they will no longer accept customer supplied parts for repair, unlike Andy & Mark's policy.
