Took my car there and told them I'd be using it for LONG commutes, take an in depth look at it and tell me EVERYTHING that needs serviceing. Got a few things done, a few weeks later tires are wearing unevenly. Took it to someplace else and was told it needed shocks and struts because car still had original ones at almost 200K miles. Took the printout that Belle Tire originally gave me back to Belle. Confronted the Service Manager about it and he looked up the account. As he pulled it up, he was typing on the account (was adding that they recommended Shocks and struts) Printed off what he CLAIMS they originally said needed work, MAGICALLY, shocks and struts on it. Great attitudes from all the guys they where good but, dropped car off running for new tires, came back my car needed a starter so I said ok, then realized since they couldn't get it started they used something to push it from the rear damaging my rear bumper and when I took it too another shop after fixing starter they said the lug nuts where mix-matched which I just had bought new from belle tire, hate to say it but I feel like I got screwed! read more

We called ahead of time for a tune up, they said come in the following morning and it should take 1 hour, we came in 8 am, they told us they wouldn't look at it until 10, fine we could wait a few hours thinking at most we would be out by noon. They didn't get done until 2 pm, we waited 6 hours, told them we had to have the car by 1 and they were working on 2 cars at the same time. If they don't have time or know they are busy just don't lie and say it'll only be 1-2 hours. I'd rather they be honest and say we are super busy it could take al day. Instead we were late for plans we had that day. And by 1pm they only changed 3 spark plugs. (Mind you the tuneup was just replacing spark plugs not a full tune up) Again issue isn't with the the work just the lying about how long we would be there when we had plans and could have gone elsewhere. read more

My friend had to take her car back there 3 times and they tried to charge her an extra $500 to fix something that was their fault and they didn't catch. They also tried to make her pay for labor when this should've been done the first time. This place is terrible and people should stop giving them their business. I have never been so pissed at a business for screwing there customers over like this before. read more

I usually have pretty good service when I come here but that wasn't the case this time. The air conditioner in my Chevy Silverado wasn't working so I thought it just needed a recharge since it's only 5 years old. I got charged $125 for a recharge and after 2 weeks no cold air. Took it to Burt Watson where I had to pay $880 to replace a leaking condenser. It seems to me Belle Tire should've checked for that. Lesson learned: Don't take your vehicle to a tire place if you have an AC problem. read more

I grew disappointed with the service I got from this tire shop. They fixed some things on my vehicle more than once and yet it didn't last. I even bought two tires at one point and the manager had the nerve to charge me full price for car tires while telling another new customer that he'd "work with him" and "take care of him" meaning with a discount. Audacity of this manager guy Z. I was paying my bill so there was no stopping the transaction. I was so hurt, spent thousands of dollars over the years and that's how you treat a loyal customer. I'd drive all the way from Detroit after work to get to this place (Belle Tire) because I thought they were pretty good. Needless to say, they just milked me for more money. That was the last straw for me so I switched to Totten Tires in Birch Run. It's an excellent shop! Buy tires from there and ask for Ryan, although they're under new management all of the crew is the exact same. My other vehicle repairs are performed by Muffler Man on Bay Rd across the street from Pizza Hut (Bay Rd); faces Vogue Dr across from Fast Eddies Car Wash exit. Matt is the technician we have experienced but all of the guys at JO are good. They don't have time to "trump up" charges, they just do what you ask. Stop going to Belle Tire and go to Totten Tires in Birch Run! Stop letting Belle Tire do anything and go to Muffler Man/JO Auto Service on Vogue. Stop going to Belle Tire and see Scott to get your oil changed at Geyers State @Bay Rd (or pass Applebees, Menards on State St.). I like that I can depend on good auto care & repair shops! read more

Sent my daughter there who goes to college at svsu with a vibration and noise issue from the front of her car. They told her it was her rear tire's that were causing the issue so had them replaced ( mind you that they didn't test drive the vehicle) she left from there to go to class same issue still occurring next day they said wheel bearing was bad and shocks and struts caused this issue and wanted a additional 1300 to do these repairs after charging 300 for the rear tires from previous day no reimbursement was offered for the bad judgement of the tires the previous day. These people try to take advantage of young college students , if i could give negative stars i would don't go to this store!!!!! read more

Took my Silverado truck in on Saturday June 8 because the tire kept losing air. I had my truck there when they opened at 8am. 9 am someone contacted me and said it was fixed, they told me they found a nail in the tire and patched it (no proof of the nail was given to me). They charged me $20. When I woke up on Monday morning June 10 to go to work my tire was flat. I again took my truck in after I got out of work to have it looked at, I even called on my lunch and made an appointment for 3pm. It took them 2 hours to get it done. The tire tech this time came up to me and said he found a piece of metal in my tire and even showed it to me. I told him I was there Sat and had the tire patched and he told me that there are no patches in the tire. I was charged on Sat $20 for something that was never even done. read more

Attempted to order a set 4 tires through VA canteen services and Belle tire was the nearest supplier. I asked if I could purchase them and then take them elsewhere to have them mounted and balanced. (I did so with my last set) I was told by the store manager that I could not do so because Belle wasn't making anything off the sale, and that justified the $80.00 charge for service. I asked if he might match his competition who'd do it for half that, and was told no because, "they aren't his competitors". When pressed further, he offered that because the shop that would do so for half as much don't do as much volume as he does, they aren't relevant. I'll be sure to tell them that when I arrive. I guess greed is far more relevant. read more

My experience started off great, I found tire prices for cheaper online and their online support was VERY quick and great to work with. Sadly, that's where the positives stop. I had an appt. at 4pm, arrived 10 minutes early. I stood at the counter for roughly 3-5 minutes without even being greeted, while someone worked the counter just stared at the computer. I get it, this isn't the hospitality field. So I brushed it off although I was mildly irritated. I was finally waited on at 4:05, I was told when I made the appointment it would take around an hour. Well, 5:10 rolled around and my car still hadn't moved. Not one time during this whole process did anyone come tell me the wait would be longer, or a "hey sorry it's taking so long." There was no communication at all. Finally my car was "done' at 6:05pm, and the "free alignment check" wasn't even performed. I'm unsure if it was because it was after closing hours or just because they didn't feel like doing it, but it was NEVER conveyed to me that it wasn't being done or asked if I minded. 2+ hours of waiting, with no communication and finally as I checked out I got a "sorry it took so long." I've used Belle Tire in the past with no issues, but I will definitely be finding somewhere else to go. read more

I scheduled an appointment with these guys to get some new tires put on. When I got there, I found out that the tires I ordered were not at the shop and the should've been there two days prior. Without me even asking them to, they gave me the next tire UP and adjusted the price to match the tires I had planned on purchasing. They also squeezed me in at the end of the night and I was in and out in about 45 minutes. The waiting room was quiet and clean and the guys were great to work with. Wonderful experience! read more

My husband and I were on our way up north for a family vacation. On 1-75 just south of Saginaw, the tire on our boat trailer blew. It was a perilous change to the spare on the side of the expressway. Once we got back on the road, we used Google to find the nearest Belle Tire to have the tire replaced. When we called, John answered the phone and assured us he had what we needed and would be able to take care of the issue. It's at this time, the term "highway robbery" comes to mind, but we were on our way to meet the rest of the family and had to arrive safely. The store was very easily accessible and not far off the expressway. Upon our arrival, we were treated very professionally and John was quick to explain the difference and the need for trailer tires as opposed to car tires for replacement. The price quoted was far below what we expected to pay, and they had us back on the road within an hour. Thank you so much for the service you gave us that day. ALL OF YOU were very much appreciated. My car tires have been wobbling for awhile so I finally took it to get it checked out. THe first person that I talked to seemed frustrated with me because I didn't know really what was wrong with my tires and then he took a phone call and left me waiting for awhile. If I had to judge off of that one guy I probably would have given them a 1 star but another guy came out and was really helpful and didn't talk to me like I was dumb. I have nothing but positive things to say about Mike and the staff at this Belle Tire. My husband and I were recently traveling through the Saginaw area when one of my tires started to leak. I called Belle Tire to see how late they were open, Mike indicated that they closed at 6:00 (it was around 5:50 and we were about 10 minutes from the shop); however, Mike indicated he would wait for us. When we arrived Mike was nothing but polite and did not appear mad about staying open a little later. He gladly fixed our tire and we greatly appreciated the help!!! My husband & I took our car in for 4 new tires. On the phone they quoted us about an hour & $500. When we dropped the car off, the guy behind the counter said they weren't that busy right then & would get our car right in & it could be less than an hour. We walked across the street to a store to waste some time while we waited.. Over an hour later, we still see our car sitting out front. My husband called & the guy said they were just finishing up.. A half hour later we walked back over & waited & waited & waited.. THREE HOURS after we dropped it off they finally were finished. I asked if it normally takes 3 hours to replace 4 tires & they said no & said they had trouble getting the lug nuts off.. FOR TWO HOURS YOU HAD TROUBLE GETTING THE LUG NUTS OFF??!! They apologized for not communicating that to us while we were waiting and then proceeded to charge us $700!!!!! Go anywhere but this Bell Tire. They are crooks. read more
