The indoor Pool area is warm but hot tub was not hot unfortunately. (Not sure if we could ask to turn up the heat or not). Bed is not too comfortable but the pillows are thankfully. Fridge was not plugged in when we first got into room but that was an easy fix, just a little inconvenient since we had some food items to transfer from our cooler bag. The heat and AC both worked great with no issues. Our bathroom plug in sockets were super loose so trying to blow dry/straighten my hair was a pain. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff--they are consistently friendly, courteous, and very helpful. However, during my most recent stay, I did notice an unusual number of flies in the common areas and even had one in my room. I'm not sure if this is a temporary issue affecting the Jewett area or specific to the hotel, but it would be helpful if management could look into it and consider placing fly traps to combat the issue.
