Quite the disappointment in some way... pool did not look appealing like the stock photos. Towels provided at the pool. Secured access. House keeping -- errr. 5/10. Not sure if we had to request housekeeping but we didn't get our room cleaned for our 4 days stay. It's ok as long as towels are replenished. Front desk 10/10 - great customer service. Fitness center 7/10 - who keeps the fitness center at 77 degrees??? Secured 10/10. Super small. Great hospitality with bottle water provided. Would be better to keep them cold like a small fridge. One good thing is that it's next to Snooze (breakfast / brunch place)! Lobby & cafe opened all the time. Just pay for purchases at front desk when closed. Bad hotel room coffee! Do not drink! It must have been old! Love the clothing steamer provided in the room! Several hangers and options to get clothes dry cleaned. Parking is tight. Need arrows in parking lot. The kitty corner lane has two cars going different directions. Barely stayed in the hotel. We went exploring everyday and didn't eat at hotel.

LET ME HELP YOU and that made me smile!!! When displaced, due to natural disaster, one is vulnerable. My biggest fear was where shall I go and will they accept my doggy. Not only a posh establishment but THE HILTON COLLEGE STATION is exceedingly tidy and cleanly kept. One would have never thought pets had been in the hotel. The heart warming comment that was made to me while displaced with my fur baby was "please bring your doggy inside and wait comfortably in the lobby". At that moment I knew I had to share my feelings in this review. THANK YOU HILTON of AGGIE LAND. I aim to share with everyone what a great choice they have made is choosing this hotel!

I will start with the good. The staff were all very…read morefriendly, professional, and apologetic. The A/C worked great. The water pressure in the shower was perfect and plenty of hot water. On our second day, the breakfast was so good! The front desk provided fresh towels upon request and in a quick manner. We left something in our room (realized after we were already home), and the front desk was able to retrieve it so that it was able to be picked up by another family member still there. The not so good...We stayed for two nights. In our particular room, there were a few issues. The sink was extremely slow draining. There was solid/dried mucus stuck to the bedside table. There were three rods sticking out from under the box spring (they were hidden by the bed skirt). Two people in our room were cut and bruised by the rods. They were protruding 3 inches. We covered them with towels to avoid any further injuries. When pulling up the bed skirt, we noticed it had not been laundered (this may be the reason the rods weren't noticed). Breakfast on the first morning was plentiful, however, there were three long hairs stuck inside the cheese of the omelet. We don't expect perfect, especially from an older hotel, but there were too many things during this visit. Adding that Hilton did give us 30K points for the inconveniences when I called to inform of the issues. I do believe an upgrade would help.

It stinks, it's dirty, the baseboards are missing, paint is chipped off the walls, and the door doesn't even close all the way. At this point we have no choice but to stay at the Norman Bates Hotel. Upon entering, the lobby is huge, spacious and very nice. Everything was clean and kept up well. It even had a nice smell all throughout the building. I booked a 2 queen 2 room suite and I really enjoyed the layout. It didn't feel so congested and this can be a perfect room for a family of 3-4 to offer some privacy as the couch is also a pull out bed. The hotel wasn't as modern but it was still a nice hotel. Later in the evening I opened my bed stand drawer and noticed dirty napkins inside which made me think that housekeeping missed that which is pretty gross but I just left it alone as so understand mistakes do happen and thankfully I don't use the drawers in hotels anyway. What I was most excited about booking here was the complimentary breakfast!!! You cannot beat an omelet bar and it was tasty!! There's many options to choose from and I love that they let me get an extra omelet for my sister who was in the room sleeping and didn't even question it. There's options for everyone including cereal, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins, bagels and more. I'd definitely return to embassy suites and hopefully I'll stay more than one night next time. Their checkin is at 4 pm and checkout is at 11 am so more than 1 night is needed. Also I do want to add that I stayed here for Santa's Wonderland nearby and the hotel staff had two goodie bags waiting for me and my sister. It was super cute and thoughtful. The staff here were great!

Had tea, coffee in the room and bottles of water if you wanted to pay $2 to drink them, fridge, iron, hairdryer. Checked in was smooth but clerk could have been a bit more talkative/informative. Large conference room on the first level, pool and outdoor seating was nice but it was December so I didn't utilize those. Easy walk to multiple restaurants, bars & shopping at Spice Market across the street and only about a 15 min walk to downtown Waco. Bar & restaurant in lobby, cleaning staff was very accommodating and friendly. Over all good average hotel experience but there are more modern hotels close by.

The outside looks like, not exaggerated, a hotel ready for demolition. There are beautiful views on two sides of this hotel. Some terrific staff members (Cheyenne at reception, a gentleman immediately came to fix the phone in our room, and Catherine Wiley...and only her...in the restaurant actually cares about the customers), please close more bottom floors and focus on top, for pity's sake get the outside cleaned up, fix the very low quality/high price in your restaurant...Hilton can turn this around. Or just sell it. ‍
