Fitness center 7/10 - who keeps the fitness center at 77 degrees??? Secured 10/10. Super small. Great hospitality with bottle water provided. Would be better to keep them cold like a small fridge. One good thing is that it's next to Snooze (breakfast / brunch place)! Lobby & cafe opened all the time. Just pay for purchases at front desk when closed. Bad hotel room coffee! Do not drink! It must have been old! Love the clothing steamer provided in the room! Several hangers and options to get clothes dry cleaned. Parking is tight. Need arrows in parking lot. The kitty corner lane has two cars going different directions. Barely stayed in the hotel. We went exploring everyday and didn't eat at hotel.

Not only a posh establishment but THE HILTON COLLEGE STATION is exceedingly tidy and cleanly kept. One would have never thought pets had been in the hotel. The heart warming comment that was made to me while displaced with my fur baby was "please bring your doggy inside and wait comfortably in the lobby". On our second day, the breakfast was so good! The front desk provided fresh towels upon request and in a quick manner. We left something in our room (realized after we were already home), and the front desk was able to retrieve it so that it was able to be picked up by another family member still there. The not so good...We stayed for two nights. In our particular room, there were a few issues. The sink was extremely slow draining. There was solid/dried mucus stuck to the bedside table. There were three rods sticking out from under the box spring (they were hidden by the bed skirt). Two people in our room were cut and bruised by the rods. They were protruding 3 inches. We covered them with towels to avoid any further injuries. When pulling up the bed skirt, we noticed it had not been laundered (this may be the reason the rods weren't noticed). Breakfast on the first morning was plentiful, however, there were three long hairs stuck inside the cheese of the omelet. We don't expect perfect, especially from an older hotel, but there were too many things during this visit. Adding that Hilton did give us 30K points for the inconveniences when I called to inform of the issues. I do believe an upgrade would help.

Upon entering, the lobby is huge, spacious and very nice. Everything was clean and kept up well. It even had a nice smell all throughout the building. I booked a 2 queen 2 room suite and I really enjoyed the layout. It didn't feel so congested and this can be a perfect room for a family of 3-4 to offer some privacy as the couch is also a pull out bed. The hotel wasn't as modern but it was still a nice hotel. Later in the evening I opened my bed stand drawer and noticed dirty napkins inside which made me think that housekeeping missed that which is pretty gross but I just left it alone as so understand mistakes do happen and thankfully I don't use the drawers in hotels anyway. What I was most excited about booking here was the complimentary breakfast!!! You cannot beat an omelet bar and it was tasty!! There's many options to choose from and I love that they let me get an extra omelet for my sister who was in the room sleeping and didn't even question it. There's options for everyone including cereal, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins, bagels and more. I'd definitely return to embassy suites and hopefully I'll stay more than one night next time. Their checkin is at 4 pm and checkout is at 11 am so more than 1 night is needed. Also I do want to add that I stayed here for Santa's Wonderland nearby and the hotel staff had two goodie bags waiting for me and my sister. It was super cute and thoughtful. In a review like this you could pick things apart, but the truth is this was like staying at grandma's house. The rooms we're well decorated. The beds were comfortable and the restrooms were nice. I'm using plurals because my group had two rooms not just one room. The staff and hospitality were exceptional at the Navasota Café downstairs where we had our complementary breakfast is always a nice experience. So to answer the question, would you stay here again? The answer is yes and I'm sure we will. Who doesn't want to stay at grandma's house when it's one block away from one of your favorite places to go in Texas, Unity Theater.

If I hadn't paid in advance I would have left. While the room was clean, it was hot and smelled like sewer. The TV was difficult to get to come on (like the remote wasn't working properly) Definitely not someplace I will stay again.

They use sliding doors on the bathrooms, so it's pretty awkward, especially if you're with family. In fact, the toilet is facing the door, which makes it even more awkward. Also, the shower did not get really warm at all. It was a very uncomfortable shower. Worst of all, I was tired from the A&M game, so I just wanted to lay down in a comfortable bed and rest.
