I sat in the waiting room for about 30 minutes, which was no problem. They came back and told me there was a nail in my side wall and the tire was unfixable. they also told me that my other tire was leaking as well. I took the tire home and bought a repair kit and when I take the tire off, it came to my surprise there was a nail directly in the center and it only took me about 10 minutes to fix instead of $350 to fix both "leaky tires". I was not only disrespected, but told false information and I will never be coming back unless the management has changed.

My dad called before I got there and explained the issue, asked them to check on the warranty and see what was going on. I had to tow the car there. I left it there on a Monday. At 5:45 on Tuesday (they close at 6), the mechanic called and told me the solenoids were stuck and that the thermostat was failing. He mentioned an issue with the catalytic converter as well and quoted me $2k at minimum to fix all three. I said no to the catalytic converter because it was working fine and he confirmed it wasn't a functionality or safety concern. When I asked if the solenoids were on warranty because I saw them on an invoice I had from them in 2023, the mechanic very quickly rushed to get off the phone saying they were about to close and he would check in the morning. Again, they close at 6 and he waited until 5:45 to discuss the issues with the car with me. I called the next morning, so it's Wednesday now, and told them to go ahead with the solenoids and thermostat and not to do the catalytic converter. Christine at the front desk answered and mentioned the 3 repairs above, as well as an exhaust pipe issue. I tell her that the mechanic didn't tell me about the exhaust pipe. She moves on quickly, not clarifying what the issue was, what the cost would be, or whether or not it was a safety, functionality, or aesthetic concern. Around 2 or 3 pm that same day, the mechanic called me and said he "suspected" the reason the car wouldn't start was the timing belt being loose, not the solenoids. He suggested they replace the timing belt, leave the solenoids, and still do the thermostat. So are the solenoids stuck or not? He doesn't clarify. I explained that I'd gotten the timing belt replaced 2 years prior and got a fault code on my dashboard every day when it was broken. Why wasn't I getting the fault code now? He launches into a bunch of technical talk and then quotes me for $1400. I have my dad call back instead because I am used to mechanics trying to bully me because I am a young woman. My dad tells me the mechanic told him the timing belt was cracked, not loose, which is not what the mechanic told me. I expressed my concern that I'd be dropping $1400 on a repair when they aren't even sure if that is the reason it wouldn't start. They also told my dad that the car was running fine and was driveable. It's getting close to 6, so I call Goodyear back and tell them to just do the timing belt. The mechanic then said that they weren't gonna work on the car that afternoon, so I could call him back in the morning. I planned to pick up the car the next day and take it to a different mechanic since they told my dad it was driveable. When I call the next morning, so it's now Thursday, Christine picks up, doesn't let me talk, and goes to ask the mechanic about the car. When she gets back on the phone, I explain that I am going to come pick it up and for them not to touch it anymore. She asks me if I am getting a tow because it isn't driveable. I explain that I'm over the back and forth and getting conflicting information every time I or my parent talk to them. She denies ever speaking with me, or telling me something different than the mechanic. I told her not to touch the car and that I would get it towed. When the tow truck arrives hours later, he tells me the car isn't ready and that he won't be able to wait. I called Goodyear to let them know I would have another tow truck pick up my car and just needed to know when the car was ready. Christine claimed she couldn't "make any promises" about giving me a call when the car was finished. What mechanic doesn't call you when your car is finished so you can come and pick it up? I call later and ask if the car is ready. The tow truck comes. My car is with a different shop now, thank god. Whether the issue is a lack of communication, organization, leadership, or a combination of all three, all I know is that their issues and unprofessionalism caused days of unnecessary stress for me. Had they behaved appropriately, taken accountability, or communicated any information effectively, I would've paid for the repair and they would have kept my business. I have never dealt with any shop being that uncommunicative, defensive, contradictory, or flat-out rude. It took 4 days for me to get my car back as they wasted my time and still didn't know why it didn't start on Monday. Treating your customers that way is unbecoming of any business, especially ones reliant on maintaining long-lasting relationships with customers. I hope they fire that rude, combative, lying woman at the front desk and hire mechanics with a proper work ethic and the ability to keep their lies straight at the least, and not waste people's time or drain their pockets at the most.

I know that they have have fit me in when they were already tightly scheduled, and I have never had a repair wherein something was left undone. Their pricing is competitive for both parts and labor, and it feels good knowing that my money is going to people who share this community with me. On the few occasions where they have been unable to book me promptly -- which have been rare, but stand as a testament to the quality of their work and the enthusiasm of their clientele -- they have made a point of letting me know exactly who they would trust with the work if I need it done in a hurry. Even so, except in one case where it was an emergency, I told them I was willing to wait the additional week or more to get my car in with them because of the bond of trust they had built. I was really surprised to realize that I had never left them a Yelp review, and thought I should rectify that today. Legitimately the best shop I have ever worked with, and only the shop run in the small town I grew up in has ever come close to this level of personalized quality and service. We are looking to move to a location closer to my work, and one of the things my wife asked me about moving was, "... we can still take our cars to Parchment Service Center if they need work, right?" Rusty's has always been upfront and honest on if any repairs are needed and what prices they would charge for parts. They are very kind when getting the job done and have never steered me wrong. My parents and grandparents have all been going to them since they first opened and I have even switched our fleet vehicles to them for service because they are a fairly priced and trustworthy company. I have even had a time where a mechanic accidentally backed my car into a hitch on someone else's bumper and they called me right away to notify me and let me know that they would replace the bumper. My vehicle was done within two days, and the bumper was brand new and no issues. They have always been a great company to deal with and are upfront with everything, speaking on this review from not only myself but three generations of my families' views on their company. If you are on a timeframe to make sure you get your vehicle back in time, they are always making sure they can work with you and keep you informed. Just thought I'd update everyone since I posted a review a few years back. It is still a one star…read moreand has not changed, especially considering I never went back. AVOID THIS SHOP at all costs, quite literally a scummy fishy shop. Lets start at the beginning, I had brought my car to LV Auto Service Center for a transmission diagnosis since the transmission had been having some shutters and slipping going on. In the first week of my vehicle being there it was actually good service, they did their standard diagnosis for over $200 and told me that my air intake had come loose causing some issues with the motor getting to much air and they had fixed that issue. Now this is where the shit show starts... They then had me reschedule for a "transmission rebuild" and I say rebuild lightly. They also at this time told me that the repairs would cost around $4000 for the full repairs and had me put a down payment of $2000. Mind you they had quoted me for a transmission build without even properly diagnosing the vehicle. At this time I was not aware they did not know exactly what the issue was, they did not make me aware of them not checking either, now this is suspicious because they charged me a diagnosis but then didn't mention what exactly was wrong with the vehicles transmission, just vaguely stated as a "transmission rebuild". Now from here it continues to get worse, I'm honestly angry I didn't take legal action against this shop. I unfortunately do not own the vehicle they worked on anymore but they are the reason I had to sell it. Okay, anyways, I bring the vehicle back to the shop for the "transmission rebuild" and I had great feelings about it, they assured me that the vehicle would be hopefully wrapped up within 2 weeks and they'll get started on it right away. I dropped it off that day with hope but then that was immediately squashed when I called back a week later to get an update. No answer to the first call, second call I get a hold of somebody. They tell me they have not started on the vehicle and weren't sure if it needed to be rebuilt. Why the absolute hell would this shop charge me a $2000 prepay fee for a transmission rebuild that they hadn't even get properly diagnosed. Obviously, I was furious I told them they needed to start on it ASAP since they had said it was going to be done within two weeks and I needed the vehicle for daily driving, so yeah this whole time they held my car hostage I was struggling to figure out how to get a mode of transportation. After I spoke to them on the phone they said they would test drive it and give me a call back. I waited and waited for that call, it never came. I had to call them every single time I needed an update, never once got a call from them, I call them back and they tell me the vehicle is not slipping and is driving fine, excuse me? You're telling me I just prepaid $2000 for a transmission rebuild that I didn't need? Yeah no not happening, I told them they needed to drop the pan, check fluid, and to do a transmission flush if needed and MAKE SURE there is no metal shavings in the transmission fluid. They check the pan, find metal shavings! Who could've guessed, I was right there was something wrong with my vehicle. By this point they've had the vehicle for almost 2 weeks now with me having to ASK them to properly diagnose my vehicle, to get some sort of actual answer on what could be going on, its almost like they didn't know what they were doing and couldn't admit it. My guess is they didn't know what they were doing, especially cause a few months go by of complete radio silence from LV Auto Service Center. At this point I had already purchased another mode of transportation, due to them holding my car and not working on it. I give them a call some months later to get an update on the car, no update "still working on it" they said. 6-7 months go by, I have to call every single week for them to tell me anything about the status of my vehicle and turns out they had shipped it to another transmission to shop to work on it, without my knowledge. This guy was extremely rude and unprofessional, and eventually was tired of my calling for updates and then eventually washed his hands of the vehicle and sent it back to LV Auto Service Center. I call LV Auto Service Center after they receive the vehicle and they tell me they are not sure if it is fixed or not but it "drove fine" and then charged me the rest. I was absolutely astonished by this, but at this point the car was running fine. The transmission was no longer slipping and I had thought it was over there, but no I was very wrong. I drove that car for 2 months before the transmission had went out again, bring it back since its still under warranty. They refuse to work on the vehicle and said they couldn't get parts, even though they had claimed they would be able to repair the vehicle for me in the first place, they held my vehicle for 10-12 months. I picked the car up and sold it immediately, F.U
