I had a very disappointing experience with Bellevue Azalea Dentistry after getting Zoom teeth whitening. During the whitening process itself, I had to stop before the fourth session because of sudden, intense nerve pain. By the third session, the pain had already become severe. At that time, aside from applying a post-treatment gel, the only recommendation I received was to take painkillers. There was no effort to observe or assess my condition while I was still in the clinic. I was in so much pain at the front desk that I felt lightheaded, yet beyond asking if I was okay, there were no meaningful suggestions or attempts to address the issue other than relying on medication. After the procedure, I experienced extremely severe and frequent tooth pain -- sharp, nerve-like flashes happening almost every minute, even when I wasn't talking or exposed to cold air. The pain radiated from my teeth and gums all the way to the back of my head and lasted for about three days before it started to subside. During that time, the pain was so intense that I couldn't speak comfortably or focus on work. While the dental assistant was responsive over text, I made a consistent effort to describe my symptoms in detail (frequency, intensity, affected areas) hoping it would help with proper diagnosis. However, the only guidance I received was to take painkillers and repeated references to it being "sensitivity," which felt dismissive given how severe the pain was. Eventually, the symptoms improved on their own over the weekend, but I was left with lingering discomfort -- my teeth and gums still feel unusually "soft" and not fully normal. Overall, I found the experience unprofessional and lacking in proper care or accountability. I would not recommend this dental office. read more

You get first exam for free if you are self insured, yes. But the doctors, especially Richter, there are pretty bad. My mom had to have one ofnher tooth pulled and in the operation he pulled her cheek super hard and almost broke it. My mom hurt a ton afterwards and every time she mentioned this she was upset. This guy is either a racist or a prejudiced a-hole, because he clearly doesn't care about people's feeling unless you look and act like him. I wouldn't take my parents there a second time! I'd like to share my experience here with the community, so that folks who need good dental care can judge before they make a decision. I had some terrible dental experience before I came to this place, as people would assume - I came to them because of the fake stars online. Back then I had some gum issues and my Invisalign couldn't keep my lower front teeth moving, because of the gum recession and my precious terrible dental experience from another place. Here are the key information from my experience: 1. I kept going to them for 3-4 times until I lost faith; 2. During the time, she injected some numbing medicine in my mouth unevenly, and one side was terribly more than the other side, and my mouth ended up becoming super swollen after a few min, which I never had that experience before. I asked her to check on it and she was pretty impatient and said I was totally fine. (After visiting multiple dentists, you would know if they are good when they try to inject things into your mouth or clean you teeth) 3. I arrived the office on time every time back then, and they kept me waiting every time at least for 20 min, and there was once that I had to wait for over 40 min without a proper reason. (Lack of respect to patients time) 4. She kept cleaning my lower front teeth for a few times until the gap between two teeth were big enough that couldn't be fixed anymore. (And I m still paying for the mistake that she made) 5. She doesn't have a proper process for cleaning. Sometimes when patients waited for too long, she would bring them in and ask one of the assistants to polish the teeth even before the actual cleaning takes place. (This is a big red flag for me) I have left that place for almost a year, and I have been paying thousands to fix the issues she caused me. There are good dentists out there around the same area. I've been to many dentists over the years. I can say without pause that while this practice most certainly gets the job done, it is by no means an exceptional clinic. Deficiencies range from Tori (a discriminatory and unprofessional front-desk personnel) to the outdated dental equipment to the lack of confidence exuded from the dentists themselves. The most redeeming aspect of this practice, the talented Dr. Baek, is no longer affiliated with this business. I'll admit, they certainly provide a consumer-friendly price point, however this merely lends credence to the adage "you get what you pay for". In the long run, it was not a sensible decision to give this practice my business. I advise others to carefully consider their options before surrendering their dollars and oral health to this establishment. read more

I had heard that it's painful procedure but I had very good experience. I had no pain or problems since then. It was an emergency visit, the staff was professional, courteous and friendly. I really appreciate the professional staff at Bellevue Azalea Dentistry. I was a new patient at the beginning of the year. Before that, my last teeth cleaning had been about 1.5-2 years prior. It had prevented me from booking my 6 month teeth cleaning appointment sooner because I had so my anxiety around the discomfort with it.
