When I cleaned my teeth, the service is good. However, the dentist told me that all of my fillings need to be redo. I told him that all of them were done half year ago. The dentist said I need to provide evident then they can re-evaluate. This makes no sense. First of all, the fillings should be done due to the conditions of the teeth. Secondly, the fillings can last 5 years. Afterward, I went to another dentist and exam them again. My new dentist said my fillings look good. I won't recommend people to use Bellevue Dental, all they want is your money! read more

I never had such bad experience for cavities filling. It costs so much effort to mediate the pain from the fillings and I am even still suffering the pain now. after annual exam, the clinic told me that I have more than 12 decay teeth. Though I was so surprised, I still believed the doctor and did my cavity filling. I did three on upper right together and felt pain after the numb recovery. I visited the clinic day after and they said the fillings were high. My teeth were still extremely painful after lowering a little, and because I am on my invisalign, I even have to stop to wear it for weeks. the pain didn't go away, but getting worse. I had to remove the filling and redo it on my most painful one since it hurt so badly. redo a filling could not be able to cover by insurance and second time filling lead to the teeth more sensitive. And I guess I still need to replace other two. I am afraid of chewing that side now. I have never had a bad experience with the fillings before in any other clinic, but this time I totally regret to do my fillings here. I am worried so much that the bad fillings lead to the root canal or even worse situation. read more

These guys rock! I crossed their doorway several years ago with a mess for a mouth. They treated me with kindness and compassion and really made me feel comfortable. After a couple of years of paying my "back taxes" on taking care of my mouth, I'm a new man that only needs to keep up on my cleanings and daily hygiene. Front desk, hygienist, assistants, and Doctor are all phenomenal. No only is Dr. Sunwoo a GREAT dentist, he is an artist that really cares about his work. Watching him fine tune my crown on the Cerec machine is like watching a concert pianist perform. Oh yeah... he's a great guy too! A few things that have always intrigued me about this office:State of the art! They have the latest and greatest state of the art dentistry equipment Instant digital X-ray, Cerec 3-D scanner and CNC machine, etc. No Pain! I'm a big guy and kind of expect to handle a little bit of pain when I visit the dentist. They go out of their way to ensure that you don't feel any pain or discomfort. After several years of catch-up dental work, I can honestly say that they never hurt me. At the most, I've been "uncomfortable" for a few seconds. Not to bad considering what was going on in my mouth. Always happy! I kid you not, I have never met a single unhappy member of their staff. Always upbeat and fun people. If you have a mess for a mouth and embarrassment is stopping you from seeing the dentist... look no more! You found the right place to visit. I have found my dentist! Dr SunWoo is SO amazing and even the girls are so sweet and attentive! They make sure you are comfortable through the whole process and are honest about what you need or don't need. They have TV's in every room and Dr SunWoo always has interesting stories to tell, which is great because it will help distract you. You can tell he is genuinely a great person. I am now not afraid to go to the dentist and would def recommend! Oh and he also makes crowns there which is very rare! read more

UPDATE: This place gets better! I had a filling fall out of a chip in my front tooth and Dr. Sunwoo worked over lunch to get me in right away so I didn't have to wait for the next available time which wouldn't be until next week. LIFE SAVER! I love this place! Great staff and they have a machine to make your crowns IN the office. So you walk in with a wonky tooth and walk out with a perfect tooth! Also, they open ay 7am, so you can get your dental work in without interrupting you work hours. I've recommended them to a few people. I loved the support team here, everyone was so kind and helpful. Traci the receptionist was warm and tried her best to accommodate me. Julia the dental hygienist was supportive and sweet, and an excellent choice for anyone with anxiety about visiting the dentist. I wanted this to be my new dental team, but Dr Sun Woo and I did not get along at all. He was condescending and pushy and not interested in customizing his care to my situation. He recommended an invasive procedure to treat an issue I was experiencing, and chastised me for neglecting my dental hygiene. I left the office in tears and feeling as though I had just gone back in time to a pediatric dentist. I got a second opinion from another practice my family has trusted for decades. He said my teeth were in excellent condition and the problem area needed only minimal treatment. Having received this advice from a previous dentist, I now wonder if Dr Sun Woo wanted to sell a procedure, or if he just didn't know what he was looking at. Regardless of what ultimately becomes of my teeth, I'd much rather drive all the way to Kent to see my family's dentist than sacrifice my self-esteem and my wallet for a convenient office. I feel like I hit the jackpot finding such a talented and caring person with such awesome crew to work on my mouth that WAS destroyed by Epilepsy medication and sodas. Visited dentist Dr. Man Sunwoo (Bellevue Dental Excellence ) He misdiagnosed and wanted to treat healthy tooth(recommended to perform root-canal). Such a shame! I'm glad I took second opinion and saved my healthy tooth! The behavior of the receptionist toward clients at least not professional. She tries several times to persuade us not to make an appointment with Dr. Man Sunwoo, which will deprive dentist of his clients and his income. We found her behavior emotionally unstable, arrogant, often shows hectic behavior toward people, based on her emotions and personal preference to people. She's also not returning our phone calls. This is unacceptable and not professional behavior. I read in other reviews not very pleasant comments about Bellevue Dental Excellence , so I would not recommend Bellevue Dental Excellence to friend and family. read more

All my family members have been seeing Dr. Sunwoo, hygienist Laurie and office manager Traci about 3 years. The hygienist Laurie is really exceptional. In my life experience, I think it's kind of rare to find a good hygienist like her who gives complete care. She uses sonic tools that ultimately reduce possible damages your teeth as traditional spinning tools could and also she uses hand tools for the detail works. She's a real professional in and out, really paying attention to the details. I love looking at my teeth after seeing her. Dr. Sunwoo is a very experienced dentist. I've got some of fillings and crowns from him. His treatments are always precious. Not only I can feel his medical skills are excellent but also I like he sticks to the high bar on the machines and materials he keeps his Cerec machine and materials updated to the best and latest. I also like he letting me know what he's doing during treatment. In my many visits, I think I've built a strong trust on him. I should mention the office manager, Traci, who keeps my family healty. I happened to hear two times she speaking over the phone with patients who need urgent care and saw how properly she reacted and have them scheduled immediately even after hours. She's easy to talk as well. I think she's the actual rock star behind the scene, keeping patients happy and Dr. Sunwoo and his team busy. His office is great - he even has the technology to make his own crowns in office, his work is beautiful and his staff is always helpful and warm. Everyone here has been more than wonderful. I came in knowing I had 5 cavities (from my last dentist in California) and was told that only 4 were actual cavities, the 5th being something that could turn into a cavity if I don't take care of it. Traci was extremely helpful in scheduling my appointments for before work. My fillings were done very quickly and painlessly. Fillings have previously been a stressful experience but this was way better than I could have expected. Looking forward to staying with them for many years to come. read more

Absolutely amazing. I haven't been to a dentist in almost 9 years and I'm not the greatest with brushing, but the entire time I was there they were kind, respectful, and empathetic. They found a way to get me an appointment within a day of first calling them, and are helping me plan the next few months of 'extremem mouth renovation'. I imagined that they would hound me about how little I had visited, or how little I brush, but they really were awesome from beginning to end. This really makes me want to return for checkups in the future. P.s. the parking lot is great, the offices are mega clean, and I got a totally sweet parting gift after my cleaning. The Best Cosmetic Dentist. Dr. Man Sunwoo - Bellevue Dental Excellence. I have to say that I have had some bad experiences with previous dentists and for a long time could not trust a dentist,... that was before I came to Dr. Man Sunwoo's dental clinic for a lot of dental work. I now have an assurance that he lives up to his dental clinic' name. I have been seeing Dr. Man Sunwoo regularly for a lot of work on my teeth. The work Dr. Sunwoo has performed was: removing old veneers and placing new veneers on top and bottom of my 16 teeth. Dr. Sunwoo also removed old crowns and placed new ones on other teeth, as well as constructed two bridges for top and bottom of my mouth, besides doing other dental work on an old crown which was placed incorrectly by a previous dentist. My teeth are now looking beautiful and much better than what I was hoping for. Beside the fact that Dr. Man Sunwoo is a true master of his trade, he is also a man of integrity. He will not place something in your mouth that he would not place in his own (according to my observations). For this reason, he returned the lab work at least twice because it was not "perfect", which made the lab not very happy, but certainly provided me with a sense of security and satisfaction as a patient. Wow! I hear stories about other dentists that are quite the opposite. This makes me feel very lucky and blessed that I was referred to Dr. Sun woo by a dear friend who is also of very high opinion of him. Dr. Man Sunwoo is a true professional and a virtuoso of cosmetic dentistry. He is also an educator and operates his own "miracle" (as I call it) crown machine, which many other dentists are not proficient with. I had my crown done in just a few hours, as opposed to waiting several weeks for the lab to make it. This is another step closer to modern dentistry's miracle. Dr. Man Sunwoo's dental office is very welcoming, with polite and helpful staff, and the best prices ever known to cosmetic dentistry. I am not sure how Dr. Sunwoo does it, but I suspect that his integrity and mastery pay back. I truly believe in treating people the way one wants to be treated, and I noticed that Dr. Sunwoo is having the same motto, although he never mentioned it. This place has to be one of the worst office staff I've dealt with!!! First time I called the gal took some of my insurance information. Then I get a call asking for my insurance information the next day. So who took my personal information previously? I tell this other woman someone took it and she said defensively it wasn't her. Her assistant admitted calling me but then said I wasn't telling the truth. She didn't take it. Then it became a back and forth argument so I stopped it. Luckily the lady I spoke to was apologetic about her assistant and said "she's just new". Then on the day of my appointment I say I am lost. Instead of even expressing some kindness like, "I'm sorry your lost. LOVE to have you in but it looks like it just too late. Can we reschedule?" She says, "we'll your appointment was 7:45am!". NOT TRUE my appointment was at 8am! She said "Well we ask if possible to get here at 7:45am for paper work and I told you that!" First off, dont speak down to clients "I told you that!" is just rude. Secondly, my appointment WAS at 8am, so I'm actually right. And third they say try to be here early. Just make the appointment the time you want me there. I hate the....but you COULD be here this time. If you know there is paper work schedule the appointment accordingly. So disappointed they came recommended by a friend, but my friend was appalled to. I felt talked to like a disobedient child. Never did get to see the doctor. read more

My husband referred me to Dr. Man Sunwoo back in 2009. He said that he's the best dentist he's ever been to, and the least painful. Dr. Man Sunwoo always goes above and beyond to make his patients happy. I'm super picky about my teeth and he is always really patient with me! I made the mistake of going to a different dental office a few years back to save a few bucks on Invisalign, and I paid for that mistake big time! Looking back, it wasn't worth it to go cheap on something like that because I've had to do refinements. Luckily, Dr. Man Sunwoo agreed to have me transferred back to his office. I wish I would have done the entire treatment there as he had to fix some issues another dentist caused. Traci who works in the front office is very pleasant and has made many calls to get me transferred back to their office. She's great about getting back to me either by phone or email. Also, Laurie cleans my teeth and my husbands. I wouldn't go to anyone else, as she makes it a less painful task.
